My Aloof Sisters Asked for My Forgiveness

Chapter 268

Patrick's lackeys nearly died on the spot from fright. They looked at Dustin as if he was a madman.

Was Dustin for real?

They were only here to get the money they were owed. Did Dustin have to kill Patrick because of a simple disagreement?

"Get out of here!"

With that, the lackeys ran off as if they had escaped a disaster.

Dustin's thoughts drifted as he looked at Patrick's head on the floor.

'The Harmon family...'

Based on the information from Hell Hall, his mind conjured a bloody image from memory.

Years ago, when he was young, his family had gathered for his grandfather's birthday celebration in joy. His mother held him close to her amid laughter and cheer.

Suddenly, lots of people had stormed into their home with vicious faces. With the swing of a blade, his grandfather's head had rolled onto the floor. That had been the start of the massacre of the Fox family.

The person who had beheaded Dustin's grandfather was a member of the Harmon family. He was the patriarch of the Harmon family of Grayvale! "Hell Guard, where are you?" Dustin called.

In the blink of an eye, two figures materialized with a whoosh. They bowed before Dustin.

"My Liege, we are ready for your orders!"

"Clean this up," Dustin said flatly. Then, he turned and left.novelbin

As he casually walked back over to the security booth, Shawna and a few others rushed over.

Seeing him unharmed, Shawna looked surprised.

"Where are Patrick and the others?” she asked quickly.

"They left," Dustin said with a smile. "They're reasonable people. I used logic and managed to sway them. They left very sheepishly. They won't come back."

"What?" Shawna's eyes widened. The others exchanged doubtful looks.

They could not imagine Patrick being sensible or sheepish.

What a joke!

However, Patrick and his men did not show up again.

For a moment, Shawna and the others looked at Dustin strangely.

How in the world had Dustin talked Patrick into leaving?

"The Harmon family won't just give up. Even if they have left this time, they'll come back with more despicable tactics!"

Shawna let out a deep breath. She was troubled.

"Leave this to me. I will settle this matter," Dustin said with a smile.

"Leave this to you?" Shawna and the others looked at Dustin doubtfully.

How could a mere security guard deal with the Harmon family?

"Logic can get you anywhere. As long as I am reasonable with the Harmon family, I'm sure they will accept my point of view." Dustin waved a hand and walked straight outside.

"Dustin, don't think so highly of yourself!" Shawna chased after him, but Dustin was already gone.

Shawna was worried.

"Call for another ambulance and send it to the Harmon family villa. I think it'll be necessary this time." Shawna sighed and shook her head.

At the Harmon family villa in Grayvale, the Harmon family patriarch's birthday celebration was in full swing.

There were numerous guests there, and the place was lively.

The Harmon family was not so powerful in the past, but they had gotten a lot of support in the past twenty years and rose to the top. Today, they were one of Grayvale's top families.

The patriarch of the Harmon family, Ignatius Harmon, was in the seat of honor. He smiled as he received birthday wishes from his guests.

He was very pleased with the size and formality of the event.

'If we hadn't participated in the destruction of the Fox family back then, the Harmon family would never be this lively now,' Ignatius thought to himself. As he looked around him, he frowned slightly.

"Is Patrick not here yet?" he asked someone beside him.

"Dad, don't worry about him. He'll definitely be here in time with a huge gift to wish you your birthday when the banquet starts," Patrick's father said with a smile.

Ignatius nodded.

Patrick was his only grandson, so he spoiled him rotten. He was terrified that something had happened to Patrick.

However, the Harmon family was very powerful. It was unlikely that anyone would dare to hurt Patrick.

"Let's start the banquet then," Ignatius said when he saw that most guests had arrived.

"Alright."

The band started playing and dancers began their performance. The guests started their partying.

Ignatius's banquet resembled a royal celebration, with his loyal subjects regaling him.

Halfway through the banquet, the guests took turns standing up and offering a toast to Ignatius. They gave him their birthday presents at the same time.

"The Wickett family presents a gold teapot. We wish you a blessed birthday, Mr. Harmon!"

"The Finn family presents this century-old ginseng to enhance your health, Mr. Harmon!"

"I present this vase...

The guests all presented their gifts. Each gift was a rare treasure.

The extravagant gifts piled high among other glittering items.

Ignatius beamed throughout the event.

Everyone was trying to butter him up because of the Harmon family's influence in the region.

"I am Dustin Fox of the Fox family, and I have a very special gift for you!"

Suddenly, Dustin walked out of the crowd.

His words carried loud and clear over the music, and everyone heard him.

Everyone turned to look at the unknown young man. They whispered among themselves and tried to guess which powerful family he was from.

"The Fox family?" Ignatius froze.

The name "Fox" was a sore spot for him.

"Which Fox family do you come from? And what gift have you brought?" Ignatius asked.

"There is only one Fox family in Rivenesco," Dustin said pointedly.

"My gift is here."

Dustin tossed a wooden box, and it landed on Ignatius's table.

Ignatius's expression turned thunderous, and he shot to his feet.

It was clear that Dustin was here to cause a scene.

He glared at Dustin and mulled over his words.

"Outrageous! How dare you cause trouble at Mr. Harmon's birthday banquet? Do you want to die?" someone yelled.

Dustin smiled and glared at Ignatius.

"Open it up and look," he said.

“Mr. Harmon, it might be a trap!" someone said.

Ignatius scoffed. His expression was disdainful.

There was no way he was afraid of a punk like Dustin.

He slammed a palm on the table, and the force of it opened the box.

A severed head rolled out of the box.

In an instant, Ignatius paled.

It was Patrick's head. Patrick, his beloved and only grandson...

The banquet burst into an uproar.

Someone had dared to behead Patrick and bring it to Ignatius's birthday banquet as a gift.

Was this not akin to a disaster?

Ignatius stared at Patrick's head. His eyes turned red in grief and anger.

Suddenly, his rage erupted, and he was no longer himself.

"How dare you?! I will tear you to pieces!"

Ignatius went mad with rage, but Dustin stayed exceptionally calm.

"Twenty years ago, you stormed into the Fox family villa and beheaded my grandfather. Today, I have done the same with your precious grandson," Dustin said indifferently.

"That's not all. I want every member

of the Harmon family to die!" said Dustin with murderous rage. His chilling words sent shivers down the spines of everyone present.

Ignatius's eyes widened.

He finally knew which Fox family Dustin was from.

"It's you! The last surviving descendant of the Fox family!"

"Yes. That's me."

Dustin looked up with gleaming eyes.

"I am here to avenge my dead family. I'm here to send you murderers to hell!"
