Chapter 45

Amara arrived outside the Zimmer family villa in her Maserati.

In the end, she decided to visit the Zimmer family herself.

The Zimmer family was one of the most prominent families in Rivenesco and was quite strong. Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

Amara was wary of Klein, who was once a very famous businessman. He had not been involved in the management of the company for years, but if he decided to come out of retirement, he would still be very Influential.

The message Klein had sent made Amara worried.

She was in a very bad mood and could not understand how things had turned out that way.

Even though she had framed the Langley family and Dustin, her target had somehow gotten out of the Zimmer family unscathed and was not even blamed for hurting Jack.

She had come here to not just mend their relationship but also to figure out the truth.

“Please send a message that I, Amara Wyatt, am here to meet Mr. Klein and also to visit Mr. Jack,” said Amara with a smile to the guard.

The guard soon passed the message, and she was permitted to enter.

Amara was confident that her skills and strategy would be good enough to solve the problem.

Amara was brought into the Zimmer family’s hall. The Zimmer family members stood at the side while Klein sat in the main seat of the hall. His face was dark

“Hello, everyone.” Amara smiled and greeted everyone politely.

But the Zimmer family members glared at her and did not return her greeting.

Klein slammed his hand on the table and said coldly, “I can’t believe you’d have the audacity to come here, Amara Wyatt!”

Amara smiled warmly and remained calm.

She was the eldest daughter of the Wyatt family. It was only natural that she could maintain her composure even in a situation like this.

“Mr. Klein, please don’t say that. I’m here to visit Mry Jack,” she said. “He was injured by an awful person Just because he wanted to work with me. Speaking of which, Dustin was once our family’s servant, but he grew resentful of us after he was kicked out and has been plotting revenge ever since. Mr. Jack got hurt in the crossfire.

“I came here today with gifts to apologize. I hope that you won’t blame me for this.”

Amara’s speech was foolproof, and she removed herself entirely from blame.

“Dustin Fox is an arrogant person who did something terrible. If you want to punish him, we won’t stop you, We’ll even help you,” she said.

She did not see that Klein’s face turned even darker.

“Amara, you insolent brat! How dare you ask us to fight against Dustin Fox?! Do you want to destroy us all?!” Klein snapped.

Amara was stunned.

She could not understand why Klein was so angry.

Why could they not fight against Dustin?

“Mr. Klein, did you hear some sort of rumor? Dustin is just a dog of our family that we abandoned-

“Quiet!”

Suddenly, Klein’s face changed. He cried out in panic and even shot to his feet.

“If you want to cause trouble for yourself, that’s entirely up to you. Don’t get us involved in this!” he yelled.

Amara was even more stunned.

What was going on with Klein?

Why was he so worked up about Dustin?

“Amara, you think you’re so clever, but you’re an idiot!” Klein glared at her. “If you had even a fraction of your father’s capabilities, you wouldn’t have done so many stupid things!”

Amara’s face turned sour, but she could not turn against the Zimmer family here.

“Why do you say that?” she asked,

Klein sneered mockingly. “Your family will reap what you sowed one of these days!”

What he said just made Amara even more puzzled.

“Don’t assume that everyone is an idiot and only you are smart in this world,” said Klein. “You used us as pawns and made Jack suffer. If not for your father, I would have killed you right now!”

Klein’s murderous tone was palpable. He looked very intimidating.

Amara’s face turned pale, and she stepped back instinctively,

She had thought too highly of herself. She thought that she could get Klein on her side, but when she faced the fearsome attitude he had cultivated as a fighter, she knew she had been fooling herself into thinking that things would go her way.

“What do you plan to do, Mr. Klein? We live in a society ruled by certain laws!” Amara was a little scared.

“Don’t worry. I won’t do anything to you today,” Klein said icily. “Take your things and leave! Don’t ever step foot into the Zimmer family villa again!”

Amara’s face turned sour.

“I am officially coming out of retirement today, and my only goal would be to lead the Zimmer family to fight against the Wyatt family to a bloody end.

“Let’s see just how long your family can last.”

Amara’s face turned even paler.

The Zimmer family was not weaker than the Wyatt family…

If they really did decide to fight against them, even if the Wyatt family came out victorious, they would still suffer.

“There must be some sort of misunderstanding. Did Dustin say something to you? Don’t believe his lies!” Amara cried out anxiously as she tried to salvage the situation.

“There are no misunderstandings! Leave!” Klein dismissed her impatiently.

“Mr. Klein, please…” Amara became even more anxious and wanted to explain herself.

“Out!” Klein lost his patience entirely and snapped..

“Get out!” the Zimmer family members shouted.

Amara staggered back. Her face flushed red, then turned pale.

At that moment, all her confidence from when she thought she was in control slipped away.

“If you don’t leave now, I’m going to kill you!” Klein looked murderous at this point. Terrified, Amara did not dare stay any longer. She ran out of the Zimmer family villa.

The gifts she had brought with her were thrown out. It spilled and clattered to the ground.

As she saw the mess on the ground, Amara was stunned.

She was the eldest daughter of the Wyatt family and had always been better than others. She had great respect within her own family, and no one dared go against her wishes.

But ever since she had chased Dustin out of the family, unexpected things had started happening. Her dignity had been trampled, and she had been humiliated repeatedly. It was a disaster.

When she was at Moon Pavilion, she begged the Medical Sage to save Elijah, but he ignored her.

Despite being polite and humble, she was still kicked out by the Zimmer family in such a pathetic way. Amara felt frustrated and wanted to scream.

What was going on?!

“I only kicked a useless stray out of the family! Why is everyone against me?” she hissed.

“Dustin, why are you so lucky?!” Her chest heaved as her eyes filled with hatred.

Dustin had encountered many things, but he had always managed to escape.

– when she thought about the Zimmer family’s impending retaliation, Amara felt anxious.

“Damn it! I refuse to believe I can’t win against a useless dog!”
