CHAPTER 21
“Who said that I will marry her?” Eloisa was angry, her chest almost burst with the anger she felt after hearing the news announced by her father.
Jayson just arrived to be introduced by his dad to his mom. Jayson’s parents weren’t there yet so he was sent first so that he could face Eloisa’s parents first.
“Eloisa,” shouted Mr. Scotch
“You should have at least some consideration and respect for your mom, and me. That’s not the behavior we often remind you and teach you, and that’s not the kind of child we raised you to be.” Her father spoke highly. “When did you learn to be rude to us, especially in front of other people?”
Eloisa didn’t move.
Suddenly her tongue disappeared and retreated, unable to even open her mouth, unable to speak.
“Sit down, Jayson,” Mr. Scotch’s voice was soft and calming as he invited Jayson to sit down. “Eloisa sit down too.”
Eloisa’s eyes were sharp and burning when she looked at Jayson. She gritted her teeth in anger and annoyance at seeing the man who stole her virginity again.
Eloisa didn’t do anything while talking about her parents preparing for her marriage to Jayson. She couldn’t even give her opinion because her dad didn’t want it. It told her to keep quiet and not to try to open her mouth if she doesn’t want Jayson’s parents to leave and they would be embarrassed. And she will taste something she didn’t expect. That’s a threat to her.
“You’re the one who planned this?” Eloisa’s teeth were hard and still grinding, her lips trembling with anger as she faced Jayson to leave the two of them in the living room so that their parents could have a thorough conversation.
Eloisa’s father wants them to talk to Jayson’s parents in a private room.
It was a serious consideration and that conversation is only between them. Even though they will only talk about Jayson and Eloisa’s incoming marriage, and the preparation for the marriage of two but it was between them only.
“What are you talking about?”
“Confess!”
“What will I confess?”
“Don’t feel innocent that you don’t know what’s going on right now.”
“What do you mean?” Jayson sighed
“Liar,” Eloisa accused him. “Why don’t you just admit that you are the one who did all this? Did you talk to dad? Did you tell him?”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about. Then what do you want to point out?”
Jayson still doesn’t want to admit the first meeting and conversation between him and Eloisa’s dad.
Tsk! Tsk! Tsk, jerk! Eloisa’s face was still grimacing, she was annoyed by Jayson’s answers and countering her accusations. Especially every time she said something, Jayson was immediately followed by an answer to the words that came out of her mouth.
Eloisa sighed, I can’t agree, no! Strong self-assertion almost cursed her speech in her strong opposition to her father’s wishes.
Today is Eloisa and Jayson’s wedding day. Eloisa looked so beautiful in her beautiful and expensive gown.
It only cost thirty million pesos, designed and made by the most famous designer in all of Asia.
Oh, isn’t the marriage between the two magnificent, even though it was rushed and lacked preparations, it was done well by both camps. Both their parents arranged for all the necessary things for their wedding. The two of them didn’t arrange anything, only they do is they just waited for the very day when their parents announced their wedding date.
“You look so beautiful Eloisa in your wedding dress, thank you that your dad and I finally saw that you will marry the man you deserve,” said her mother.
What?
Worthy?
Is Mom making a joke? How does she say it is deserving of it?
Tsk! Grrrr. How can she say that virginity thief deserves me?
He’s a robber, how could they entrust their beloved and lovely daughter to a man without a sound mind and a thief?
I think is mom joking.
Eloisa held her breath listening to her mother’s wills, suggestions, and some tips on being become, a man and wife.Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.
Her father came.
Mr. Scotch’s smiles were so wide, celebrating his joyous feeling of seeing how beautiful his only daughter was. Especially since it will marry the man he chose for his daughter.
“You are very beautiful Eloisa,” the father praised
“You were like your mother on our wedding day. You captured your mom’s good looks, which is why she still fascinates me so much even at our age now.” Her dad’s words were blunt as if Eloisa didn’t want to listen to everything her dad was saying.
Her father giggled with joy when he spoke again. “There’s nothing you can do, you can’t back out if you don’t want me to marry you to a man who is worthless.” This joking threat made Eloisa calm down in her refused marriage again.
Jayson’s parents also congratulated Eloisa, after their confrontation and conversation. They headed to the place where Jayson’s and her wedding was being held.
When Eloisa was walking on the red carpet, she was noticing in her eyes Jayson’s happy look as they waited for her to get to the front where their parents were waiting.
For Eloisa, this was the day that was the ugliest and worst event in her life.
Eloisa bit her lower lip to get rid of her chest pain and she also took a deep breath.
If Jayson has a burning feeling that he was excited that he will marry the woman his heart beats for. Contrary to what Eloisa feels now, even if she wants to look bad on Jayson, she doesn’t want her parents to be embarrassed.
She also thinks about it first, if she does maybe she could Jayson’s parents embarrassed, she doesn’t want it so that all guests who were invited by their parents to be witnesses to their painful marriage, will be embarrassed.
“You’re really beautiful Eloisa, I love seeing your beauty floating in the crowd,” Jayson whispered, Eloisa’s response was a simple smile when she saw their parents waiting to hear her answer.
“Thank you,” she responded so weakly that almost no one heard but her. But Jayson replied, “that’s okay, today officially you’re mine.” He sobbed with a weak laugh and Eloisa’s father smiled at what Jayson had said to his daughter.
