Mommy, Please Marry My Daddy (Kamryn)

Mommy 35

Chapter 35

Kamryn sneered in her heart at Jenna’s mocking words.

She might have had a poor life these years, but she could tell if the bag was real or not.

Besides, 400 thousand dollars was not much to a rich girl like Nicole.

Thus, Nicole wouldn’t have given Kamryn a knockoff to disgrace herself.

The bag brought Kamryn much attention. Jenna’s agent recognized her outfit as a brand–new one from Gucci.

“Kamryn, I can’t believe apart from your fake bag, you’re wearing counterfeit.”

The makeup artist mocked Kamryn with other assistants. “It looks like super fake.”

“Can’t believe it. You don’t look like someone who could afford these kinds of stuff. Why wear counterfeit to look rich?”

Kamryn sneered. “Well, I don’t blame you for not being able to tell their authenticity. But please stop making those ridiculous judgments.”

The agent’s eyes widened in shock. “What do you mean?!”

“You don’t even have a Hermes bag. How could you judge me for the authenticity of my bag?”

Kamryn retorted, and the atmosphere became awkward.

The agent’s face flushed with embarrassment. “Who told you I don’t have a Hermes bag? Jenna bought me one last year when we were making a photo album of hers in France.”

“So you have a real Hermes bag?

“Then how could you not tell my bag is real?” Kamryn covered her mouth, pretending to be surprised and doubtful.

“But can you afford an outfit costing thousands and a bag costing hundreds of thousands?”

“That’s enough. Since she says it is real, then it is. Let’s not argue with her and embarrass each other.” Jenna pretended to mediate.

“Alright. I take your advice. I won’t argue with a person like her anymore.”

As the agent spoke, she stared daggers at Kamryn.

“Well, I guess you love pretending to know what you actually don’t. You thought you made the right judgment, but you ended up as a joke.”

“What do you mean?”

The agent’s pent–up anger flared. “Do you dare repeat it?”

“I say, you’re a joke.”

“How dare you accuse of me while using a knockoff?”

“Just a few words of yours can’t change the authenticity of my bag.”

Jenna couldn’t put up with it anymore. “You’ve gone too far, Kamryn.”

“Do you dare to make a bet against me?

“Bet on the authenticity of the bag.” Kamryn smiled.

“What’s the stake?”

“Anything you like.”

“Okay

“I bet that this bag is fake, and if I win, you will have to strip yourself in front of the whole crew,” Jenna said.

“What a cruel bitch. She is coming to claim my dignity,” Kamryn thought.

But she was not scared.

After pondering for a moment, she nodded in agreement and asked, “What if you lose?”

“What if I lose?

‘Yes.‘

TI apologize to you!”

Jenna looked very confident as if she was sure that Kamryn’s bag was a knockoff.

“That’s not fair. I’ll have to strip myself if I lose, but you will only have to make an apology if you lose?”

“Because I won’t lose

“Since you’re so confident about it, how about you strip yourself in front of the crew as well if you lose? It’s fair, isn’t it?” Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.

“Who do you think you are to bargain with me?” Jenna snorted.

“What? Do you chicken out?

“If so, apologize to me, now!” Kamryn laughed.

“Don’t try to compare yourself with me. Jenna gritted her teeth.

She was a big star, so it was much more costly for her than for Kamryn to strip herself.

“Forget about it. Let’s quit since you couldn’t afford to lose.”

“She is in!” Before Jenna could reply, her agent cut in. “Jenna, what’s there to be afraid of? She is just bluffing because she thought her seemingly good knockoff could deceive us. I’m sure she has heard that even a Hermes staff possibly couldn’t tell the difference between the real and the knockoff of the limited edition. That’s why she looks so confident now.”

Jenna went pale. She believed from the bottom of her heart that Kamryn’s bag was a knockoff, but she felt like quitting after hearing the stake and secing Kamryn’s confident smile.

‘T…

She hesitated for a while before finally saying, “Fine, let’s do it.”

“How to check if the bag is authentic? Your agent just said even not a Hermes staff could tell the difference as it is of the limited edition.”

“Well, we need an expert. I know a regional executive of Hermes, and he could get us the designer of the brand to check it. A knockoff can never become an authentic one.”

“Okay. Let’s wait and see.”

Jenna seethed with anger.

‘Don’t worry, Jenna. I’m going to teach her a lesson.” Jenna’s agent tried to console her.

She walked away while making a call. Soon, she ended the call and came back, yelling at Kamryn, “Just watch how you will make a fool of yourself.”

About half an hour later, a chic woman arrived at the set.

As the chief designer of the brand in the region, she could tell a knockoff from a real one at a glance.

Jenna exchanged warm greetings with her before explaining the situation.

The designer turned back and observed Kamryn’s bag in confusion.

The knockoff’s were getting so good, but just as Jenna’s agent had said, a knockoff could never become an authentic one.

The designer walked to Kamryn and took it before placing it on the table. She checked the bag thoroughly, and her face fell.

Seeing her reaction, Jenna got nervous and shocked.

Judging from her reaction, could this bag be….

“Real?” she wondered.

Jenna walked to the designer cautiously and lowered her voice as she asked, “Alice, this bag is…”

“It’s real.”

“What?”

“Well, this is a limited–edition Hermes bag. Each of such bags has a unique logo with unique details, something that was produced with Hermes new technology and couldn’t be counterfeited.”

Jenna was stupefied.

She could care less about the bet, but she was confused about how Kamryn got the bag.

It was definitely not something Kamryn could afford.

“That’s impossible.”

Standing beside the designer, Jenna’s agent said in a cautious tone, “If this bag is real, it costs at least hundreds of thousands, isn’t it?”

“Yes, it’s the limited edition. And this one is more expensive than Jenna’s because it’s co–branded.”

“What?”

Jenna looked irritated. “How was that even possible? My bag was given to me by the divisional director of Hermes.”

“I’m just telling the truth,” the designer said and shrugged.
