Chapter 21
Chapter 21
The blazing midday sun shone through the glass door. The tall and muscular man walked forward in the golden sunlight. His footsteps were firm and steady.
He had an extraordinary disposition that seemed regal and noble. No one dared to look directly at him.
All the receptionists were gawking at him. "Oh my God! Are we dreaming?"
Augustine Giltstone...
The man who walked through the door was really him. As the world's most eligible bachelor stood in front of them, the receptionists felt a sense of incredulity.
"I am looking for a woman who brings her child to work here." They heard his low and seductive voice ask.
The receptionists were almost fainting from being mesmerized, and they almost forgot to answer him.
Augustine narrowed his eyes and he knocked the counter violently with his slender fingers in a dissatisfied manner. It was obvious that he was feeling impatient.
One of the receptionists immediately came to her senses and said, "Mr. Giltstone, you may be looking for Miss Vivianna Carlewood, our chief designer. She is the only one who brings her child here to work."
"Is she not at the company right now?" Augustine narrowed his eyes and asked in his deep voice.
Was this woman so irresponsible while raising Augustine's child? How could she allow him to run around on his own while she worked?
D*mn it, this woman didn't deserve to bear his child at all.
"Are you looking for Designer Carlewood? I'm sorry, she's not at the company right now. She has gone out to attend to some business today."
"What about her child?" Augustine's eyebrows were furrowed. Belongs to © n0velDrama.Org.
"I heard that he's at home today!" One of the receptionists answered quickly.
"Give me her address!" He ordered.
It was against the company policy to reveal the residential addresses of the employees. The receptionists were not allowed to do so.
However, this man was Augustine Giltstone after all! Any woman couldn't refuse any of his orders, as they would not be able to resist his magnetic charm.
At this time, a receptionist bent over quickly and wrote down Vivianna's address and her unit number on a piece of paper.
"This is Designer Carlewood's address."
Augustine took a look at it and he replied politely, "Thank you."
In this instant, the four receptionists were huddled together. They were so thrilled by the incident that they were at a loss.
Not only did they see Augustine in person, but he also thanked them with his low and magnetic voice. How could they not be excited?
Augustine left the jewelry design office with Yazlynn in tow. Augustine walked to his car. It was a limited edition sports car. Yazlynn was lucky enough to get to sit in the passenger seat.
"Boss, are you really going to meet this child? What's the relationship between this child and yourself?" Yazlynn lied. Although she knew the answer to this question, she could not reveal her knowledge.
"He is my son." Augustine told her the truth.
"Oh my God! Is he your son, Sir? No wonder he looks so similar to you. He's a chip off the old block," she said.
Augustine was pleased at Yazlynn's comment. He smiled and he stepped on the gas pedal fiercely.
He was so eager to see his child. His excitement was beyond words.
In Vivianna's house, Winslow and Zephaniah were attempting to complete some jigsaw puzzles. It was a pity that a twenty-four-year-old woman like her could not win a three-year-old child at such a game! What a joke!
"I'm done with my puzzle. Miss Winslow, why haven't you completed yours?" The little guy asked in surprise.
"Zeph, you must be a genius! How can you be so smart? This is unfair!" Winslow was astounded, and she felt like crying in exasperation.
"Miss Winslow, you can do it! I'm sure you can finish the puzzle. Do you want me to teach you?" Zephaniah suggested.
Winslow shook her head and said, "Forget it, let's play chequers."
The little guy became excited and said, "Okay! I like to play chequers very much."
In the parking lot of the residential area, an expensive sports car pulled over. Yazlynn had the address of the location in her hand. She had a good sense of direction, so she walked to one side and said to Augustine, "Boss, it's right here."
