Mistaken Match Marrying the Enigmatic CEO

Chapter 2092

Chapter 2092 Chaos at the Lannister Estate

“Where’s Roselynn?” Emmanuel asked with a friendly smile as he approached the staff.

A staff member turned, surprised by his question. “Mr. Lowe, you’re back again? The manager went downstairs about ten minutes ago.”

Emmanuel frowned. “Why would she have gone downstairs?”

The staff member appeared increasingly perplexed. “Didn’t you arrange to have supper with her? Why do you look like you can’t recall?”

Emmanuel’s eyes widened as an uneasy feeling crept over him. “I didn’t make any plans with her, and I definitely didn’t call her!”

“Wait–really?” The staff tilted her head, looking over at a coworker. “I could’ve sworn I heard her say that.” The other nodded, just as puzzled.

Emmanuel wasted no time. He instantly called in the Dark Night Island guards and ordered them to search for Roselynn. He tried her phone, but it went straight to an “out of service area” message.

“D*mn it! Who’s behind this?” he muttered, growing more tense by the second.

Just then, Sage appeared at his side, noticing his clenched fists and blazing anger. “If anything’s happened to Roselynn, I’ll make them regret it,”

Emmanuel vowed.

Sage lowered his voice. “Commander, the Wolf Warrior Unit is currently on the hunt, but Zovince is huge. Plus, some areas are off–limits. We can’t comb through the entire city without a clearer lead.”

Emmanuel nodded, understanding the urgency. He didn’t hesitate, ordering,

Rally the team. We’re going to the Lannister Estate!”

With Gautier gone, the Lannister family were the first suspects that came to mind–especially since Gwain had publicly threatened him just yesterday, vowing he wouldn’t let the issue over the Dragon Tome.

Sage’s eyes widened at the bold move but nodded. “Understood, Commander.”

Thirty minutes later, Gwain trained in martial arts at his private dojo on the Lannister Estate. Although he often put on a laid–back front, he was intensely disciplined and trained secretly to keep his skills sharp.

Suddenly, a servant shouted from outside, “Mr. Gwain! Mr. Gwain! There’s trouble!”

Congratulations!novelbin

Gwain was deep in his training of the Dragon Tome. His eyes snapped open, and he scowled at the interruption. Striding to the door, he seized the servant by the collar and hissed, ” Do you have a death wish? Interrupting me like this -what could possibly be so urgent?”

The servant paled, trembling as he thought, Mr. Gwain is terrifying right now! It’s like he could kill me on the spot!

Gwain shoved him back, eyes narrowed. “Out with it! Why are you here? Where’s Wyatt?”

he servant stammered, “Mr… Mr. Gwain, someone’s causing trouble at the estate! Mr. Wyatt is out front with the guards. It looks like they’re about to clash!”

“Huh?” Gwain’s shock was hastily replaced by anger. Who on earth would be bold enough to show up here, causing trouble at the Lannister Estate?

“Check if Wyatt has taken care of it and report back!” Gwain commanded, signaling that he intended to remain behind. As the Lannister family’s key player, he needed to conserve his energy. It would be beneath him to spring into action over every slight–besides, he had other responsibilities to manage.

Soon after, another servant burst in, eyes wide with alarm. “Mr. Gwain! You have to gather everyone and come out now. They’re about to overwhelm us!”

wain’s jaw clenched. “Seriously? Who would dare launch an attack on us here?”

The servant, barely able to catch his breath, replied, “It’s Emmanuel Lowe! He’s brought a whole group and seems ready to pick a fight!”

“Emmanuel?” Gwain’s eyes went cold, a dark energy radiating from him.

Those around him shivered; he seemed different, far from his usual charismatic self.

“Summon the four branches immediately. We’re meeting him head–on,”

Gwain ordered with deadly calm, marching toward the front yard with his men following close behind.

After years, the Lannister family mobilized all four branches to defend against a threat–an initiative not observed since Gwain became the acting patriarch.

Keeping with their status as Chanaea’s leading martial arts family, the

Lannister family acted fast. Just minutes after the order was given, scores of their top fighters gathered behind Gwain, prepared to confront the danger directly.

As Gwain stepped into the front yard, he surveyed the situation, teeth gritted.

His usual demeanor was gone, replaced by a fierce resolve that even the

Lannister members hadn’t seen before.

“Mr. Gwain! You made it just in time,” Wyatt spoke up, clearly relieved as he‘ joined Gwain’s side. He’d been holding back, but now he had his backup.

Before Wyatt could continue, Gwain raised a hand, silencing him. Turning a fierce glare toward Emmanuel, he shouted, “Emmanuel! Your arrogance is.

beyond words! First, you killed one of our top warriors, and now you march in ere like this. Do you honestly believe the Lannister family is pushovers?”

Gwain recognized that his repeated retreats might’ve made Emmanuel perceive the Lannister family as easy targets. Although he understood he couldn’t match Emmanuel in a direct confrontation, tonight, with the support of his family, they held the advantage.

The Lannister family was home to some of the best martial artists in the country; even the typically understated retired elders remained formidable.

They had carefully groomed Gwain’s public persona as the face of the family, adding to the Lannisters‘ mystique and strength.

“I’m not here to talk. Did you take Roselynn? Answer me!” Emmanuel shot back, his voice icy. Though he sensed the strength of Gwain’s backup, he stood firm. His only priority was Roselynn’s safety, and accompanied by his men, he wasn’t leaving without answers.

Gwain looked genuinely taken aback. “Is Roselynn missing?”

Emmanuel studied his expression, finding it hard to tell if it was real or an act.

Yet, Roselynn was too important to walk away over a hunch.

“Yes! Did you have her taken just to get your hands on the Dragon Tome?”

Emmanuel’s tone was fierce. Wyatt looked at Gwain, caught off guard as if he thought there might be some truth.

e thought, Gwain’s definitely eager to get the Dragon Tome. Just yesterday, he promised to do anything to bring Roselynn back, and now she is gone. If he isn’t the one, then who could it possibly be?

Wyatt’s reaction made Emmanuel feel he might be onto something. Could

Gwain hide behind this innocent front, just like Magnus and Gautier?

Furious, Gwain retorted, “Stop your unfounded accusations, Emmanuel! You show up here and dare make demands? Fine. Let’s resolve this for good.”
