Mated To My Childhood Bully

Taking The Shot For Her

Axel and Rex were involved in a fight which of course, Axel was having the upper hand although the Alpha found it strange.

Axel seemed to be weaker and even more strangely, his Alpha wolf side seemed to not be taking control as his eyes maintained the normal yellow colour of a wolf. Axel should be able to to get Rex down in less than a minute and Rex should not even be able to throw a single hit at him but that was not the case.

The brows of the Alpha arched as he noted this strange weakness in his beloved son. He bit hard on his lower lip, wondering what could be the reason.

He had to find out whatever reason it was as soon as possible and get rid of the source of his weakness. Anything or anyone that would make his son weak, did not deserve to stay alive for a single second more.

Suddenly, the alarms went off and the fighting brothers halted. The Alpha’s eyes widened too as they all came to the realisation.

They were under attack.

Axel shifted back to his human form.

“Rex, get the keys to the weaponry and let the gunmen in! I will go out with the other men” Axel said, immediately assimilating the urgency of the situation.

Axel shifted back to his wolf form and ran out of the living room. The Alpha shifted and followed suit.

This was the heat period and an attack had to be the strangest thing ever to happen during the heat period.

Axel let out a loud howl, summoning all the other wolves who had not heard the alarm.

Howls rose from all parts of the pack as they were all alerted of the fact that they were now under attack.

The attacker wolves trooped in and right in the middle of them was a wolf that Axel very well recognised, Alpha Damon.

“Axel, I think I am in trouble” the distressed voice of Hazel came to him in a mind link.

“Calm down, Hazel. I will be with you soon” He assured her and started to find his way through the now fighting wolves, ripping apart any wolf from the green moon pack that he could get his hands on but as he got to the entrance of the mansion, he was pulled backwards and thrown into the dust by Alpha Damien.

Damien’s eyes glared at him with hatred and anger and lust for revenge.

Axel got back on his feet but as soon as he did so, he felt a bullet force its way into his skin.

He turned towards the direction the bullet had come from and it was no one other than his brother, Rex.

Rex was taking advantage of the situation to get rid of him and then make the people believe that it was the enemies who had killed him.

“Axel?” He heard the voice of Hazel as he felt burning pain sizzling through his body.

Perhaps if he had not been sapped of energy, he would have been able to pull through pretty well enough.

Axel let out a loud growl, he was in between charging at Damien or Rex but he did not have an option for long as Damien came for him, lunging towards his arm and clawing badly at it.

Axel had to spin wildly to shake Damien off his body. Pushing Damien off him, he rushed towards the door once more, wanting to keep Hazel and Sana safe first but he was pulled back by Damien yet again.

Damien clawed at the spot where he had been shot and pushed Axel back into the dust.

The both of them fought each other for some time which Damien was sure still holding the upper hand.

In a few minutes, Axel had shifted back into his human form, weak and tired.

Damien shifted into his human form, breathing heavily but having a smile on his face as he stared at his defeated opponent.

“I won’t get rid of you right now. I will let you see me take Hazel away first before getting rid of you”

“You are joking if you think you’d be leaving here successfully!” Axel spat.

“And who is going to stop me from leaving here? You?” Damien laughed out loud like a maniac.

“Definitely not you” he added and walked into the house leaving Axel groaning his anger on the floor.

He hated this feeling, the feeling of being weak and helpless especially when it had to do with Hazel.

He looked up at the moon that had been covered up in the cloud, his lips parted as he began to pray for the clouds to give way for the moon to shine on him, for the blessings of the moon goddess herself to reflect on him.

“Rex” The Alpha called with a tone of urgency in his voice.

“Father!”

“You have to do something for me, for the pack” he growled and caught a wolf who was trying to attack him in his hands, tearing him apart with a groan.

“What do you want me to do father?” Rex asked, ready to do anything to get in his father’s good book.

“Hazel, ensure that she is gotten rid of. We cannot have her be alive. Axel would be busy with fighting, you have to make sure she is dead.”

Rex gulped down.

“As you wish father”

“Good” the Alpha patter Rex’s shoulders and rushed away, shifting back into his wolf form.

Rex smiled as he walked towards the door of the mansion. He was going to eliminate Hazel first after which he was going to find a way to completely eliminate Axel without anyone finding out that he was the cause of Axel’s death.

This war was going to be to his advantage because as long as he could get rid of Hazel and Axel, the position of the Alpha would belong to him without anyone standing against him.

“Hey brother” Rex waved at Axel, holding a gun in his hands.

“Rex, please” Axel grabbed Rex legs.Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

“Please protect Hazel, please” he pleaded.

“I didn’t hear you saying please clearly”

“I know you hate me and want to get rid of me but please… Please protect Hazel and Sana” he pleaded but Rex simply jerked his hands off.

“You won’t tell me what to do this time” Rex chuckled and walked past him into the house.

Hazel froze as she saw Damien’s wolf approaching her. She gulped down her fear for him, reminding herself that she had to be strong, not just for herself but for Axel and for Sana and for every other person who loved her, she had to be strong.

She pulled herself together, bracing herself to resist the monster in front of her as much as possible.

Damien took steps towards her before shifting back to his human form.

“Don’t look so fierce, little Hazel. You are going to be my beautiful little woman eventually” he grinned, approaching her but suddenly the door opened and Rex walked in, holding a gun in his hands.

Hazel was more than glad to see Rex walking in with a gun. Rex walked some distance distance away from Damien.

She heaved a sigh of relief but the relieved look on her face soon gave way for a look of horror as Rex pointed the gun towards her.

Her eyes widened with shock and disbelief.

“Wh… What are you doing?” She stuttered out.

“What does it look like? I am eliminating you, Hazel Simons” he grinned and Damien turned towards him sharply.

“Out of your mind? Drop the fucking gun!” Damien yelled out but Rex simply grinned.

“Never!”

Rex pulled the trigger and before Hazel could react or even attempt dodging the bullet, someone else had taken actions, it was Damien.

“Hazel!”

He jumped in front of Hazel, shifting in the process as he let his wolf side take the bullet that Rex had shot.
