Mated To My Childhood Bully

Breaking Her

Axel stood in front of his father for many seconds, the two men glaring at each other for the very first time in a long time.

“Make your choice, Axel because I, will not have anything that would disturb you becoming the Alpha King happen.”

“Hazel is going to be a huge trouble in your way. You either push her away or she loses her life”

It was obvious the option that he was going to pick. There was no way he was going to allow his father to harm Hazel.

“Fine. I will reject her and push her away from me but you have to keep your promise, do not try to harm Hazel”

“Definitely. I am a man of my words.” The Alpha replied.

“I have to leave” Axel’s words were hardly coherent.

He took steps backwards, headed for the door and left the room leaving the Alpha looking a little bit satisfied.

“A white wolf is the last thing that should stop my son from being who he has been destined to be.”

Hazel stood by the window in her room, looking over at the driveway. She was expecting to see the car of Axel anytime soon but that was not happening.

He had told her before he left that he would be back very soon but soon has definitely passed and he was still not back.

She let out a heavy breath and headed to sit on her couch. She threw her head backwards and played with her fingers without looking at them.

Hazel smiled when she remembered how much he cared for her. It brought joy to her heart to see someone who wanted her to be safe and happy.

“Gosh. He is not bad” she remarked and sat up properly on the sofa.

The thoughts of telling Axel that she loved him ran through her mind and she let out a small giggle at the thought of it.

She definitely knew that she loved him too and Hazel could not think of a better time to tell him that except that night.

“Let’s do some love confession” she whispered, got up from her seat.

“It’s not like he does not know how I feel anyways”

She wondered what would happen after she told him the words that he had been wanting to hear for so long. Was he going to act all romantic and ask for the both of them to go out on a date or was he going to make things turn steamy and mark her that same night?

Her insides churned with sexual excitement as she thought about that.

She picked up her phone as it beeped with a message from Axel.

“I would not be able to come over to your home” the message read.

Her brows knitted.

She paused for a second before sending him a reply.

“It’s fine. I would come over to your home” She replied and dropped the phone back to the bed.

She opened her closet with a huge smile.

The door clicked and opened after Hazel inputted the passcode. She pushed the door open and walked into the house of Axel.

“Axel?” She called out his name as she arrived in his living room.

“Axel?” She called out again.

“A minute” his voice came, loud and clear.

Hazel looked around the living room and took a seat on one of the sofas. She smiled as she breathed in his scent. He smelt so good.

“Maybe that scent would be imprinted in my head forever tonight”

After about four minutes of waiting in the living room, Axel finally alighted down from the stairs, his beautiful eyes that always held love for her seemed to have turned cold that evening.

“You are here” Hazel got up from the sofa with a smile.

“It’s a nice thing that you are here and I will not be taking much of your time….”

“I am here because I have something to say to you” Hazel cut him off excitedly.

Axel went quiet to let her say what she had to say.

“I… I have been denying this for way too long and although you know it, you have never heard me say it…” The smile on her face never left her face.

She was way too engrossed in making her confession to him that she did not notice the change in his countenance and his suddenly cold aura towards her.

“I… I love you, Axel” she finally said the words.

Axel remained quiet. He had been waiting for those words from her for so many years. Those words would have made his day but he also had to reject her and it had to happen right now.

It broke his heart that he had to wipe that smile off her face with his words soon. It broke his heart that he had to hurt himself too and all of this was because of Rex.

“You… Are not happy?” Hazel asked, her words coming out slowly. The smile on her face faded as she took steps forward.

“Did you get a bad news earlier?” She asked him worriedly and reached out her hands to touch him but he moved away from her reach.

“I did not get a bad news but you are the one who is going to be getting one” he replied and her brows knitted.

“What are you saying?”

“I do not want you, Hazel”

Her heart skipped a beat.

“Do not want me? What are you saying?”

“I, Axel Hills, reject you Hazel Simons as my mate. I will have nothing to do with you.” He replied.

Coldness was the only thing evident in his voice.

“Are… Are you playing a prank on me?” Hazel questioned, hoping that it was a prank.

“I am sure that you wish it is a prank but it is not. I am rejecting you as my mate. When you are done, leave.”

Hazel’s face held that look of disbelief as she stared at him muttering no after no. She did not believe this.

Her eyes gradually filled up as she felt her heart being shattered.

“Stop this prank! It is not in any way funny! You can not reject me because you love me!!” She yelled out her words.Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

That voice, the pain it held, Axel could not stand hearing it anymore. He knew that if he looked at her a little bit more and heard the pain in her voice, his heart would soften and he would pull her into his arms and tell her that it was nothing but a prank.

He turned away from her and began to walk away but Hazel was not going to let him go. She ran after him and threw her arms around him, holding him tightly in a back hug.

“Why? Why are you doing this?” She asked him, her wet eyes creating a wet patch on his shirt.

“Did anything go wrong earlier? Just tell me what went wrong but do not even think of pushing me away because you will never be able to!”

Axel took hold of her arms and forcefully jerked it off his body.

He turned to face her.

“I do not love you a tiny bit, Hazel. And you should be glad that I admitted this fact to you before I took advantage of you.”

Hazel looked into his eyes, searching for any traces of him lying. She knew he hated seeing her in pains, he hated seeing her in tears and if this was a prank, he would have definitely stopped by now.

“I do not believe you!” She raised her voice.

“Whether you believe me or not is none of my business, Hazel.”

“But you should stay away from me from now on”

“I do not believe you and I will never believe you!”

“I might not know much about you, Axel but there is one thing that I am sure about and that is the fact that you love me. You cannot deny your love for me!”

“How do you explain always being there for me? How do you explain willing to let go of your life for me? How do you explain the way you get hard so easily with me? How do you explain any of this?!”

“Like I said before, Hazel. It is up to you to believe or not. Let whatever we have, come to an end right this minute. I do not love you” he spelt out his words and turned away from her once more.

He had gotten to the stairs when Hazel spoke up. She wiped her teary face and raised her voice.

“So many times, you have not given up on me, Axel! This time around, I will not give up on your love for me! I will get you back Axel!”

Without one more word to her, he coldly walked back to his room leaving the woman he wanted to protect, heartbroken.
