Chapter 142
Matthew’s right fist slowly clenched, his veins bulging as a terrifying force seemed to gather within.
With slow steps, he walked toward Noah. “Three million, huh? Can you withstand 300 punches? Because I want to beat you to death!”
Noah’s eyes widened in surprise. “You want to fight me? Well, you didn’t wet your pants, so I’ll give you that. Alright, let’s see if you can take on my 15 men.”
As Noah laughed heartily, the burly men rushed in from outside while holding machetes, steel pipes, and even somet flamboyant swords.
They surrounded Matthew with murderous intent.
A tattooed brute was the first to charge at Matthew, swinging the steel pipe in his hand while cursing, “With so many of us, do you fucking dare to fight us?”
Noah suddenly spoke up, “Watch where you hit him. Don’t damage his organs or the parts we need to sell.”
The tattooed man responded, “Got it. I’ll make sure he’s still good to sell after I’m done.”
With that, he furiously swung the steel pipe at Matthew’s head.
But before the pipe fell on him, Matthew dashed forward in one swift movement and charged at the opponent with his shockingly powerful right fist.
His punch landed on the brute’s chest.
A deafening sound echoed, and the tattooed man was sent flying before his body crashed to the ground.
The steel pipe he was gripping clattered and rolled to a stop at Matthew’s feet.
The room fell into a sudden silence. Everyone looked at the tattooed brute lying on the ground with horror.
His chest was caved in with part of his ribs protruding through his skin. Fresh blood rapidly soaked through his clothes, forming a pool on the floor.
His legs then began twitching uncontrollably.
Blood gushed out of his mouth as his lips moved like a fish ashore, gasping for air.
It looked like he was beyond saving.
Seeing this, Noah trembled as he looked at Matthew. He quickly recomposed himself and shouted, “Fucking attack him all at once! Do you want to die one by one? Use your brains! Hurry up and get him!”
At his command, the remaining men charged at Matthew together, Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.
Seeing the incoming ambush, Matthew stepped on the steel pipe, rolling it back with his foot before flicking it forward to catch it in his hand.
Two men raised their machetes and swung them at his head.
The steel pipe in Matthew’s hand became a blur as he struck. What followed was the sickening sounds of multiple bones snapping-
The two men’s arms drooped limply as their blades fell to the ground.
The remaining men hesitated as they watched their colleagues go down, giving Matthew the chance to leap forward.
The steel pipe was swung and hit four more henchmen. Blood gushed out of their heads as they fell.
The others backed away in terror. Their eyes were wide with fear as they looked at Matthew, who by then had already moved on to the two men retreating in a corner.
Scared out of their wits, they pressed themselves against the wall and pointed their weapons at Matthew. “Stay back! I have a knife. Don’t come any closer.”
As Matthew approached, the two men were scared silly, as if they seemed to see death itself approaching.
With a cold face, Matthew walked up to them, and the steel pipe in his hand lashed out.
The two burly men clutched their heads as they collapsed. They struggled for a while before they soon lay motionless.
Just then, Noah took out a gun and pointed it at Matthew. “Don’t move, , or I’ll shoot. No matter how well you can fight, you can’t beat a gun. Do you think you’re such a tough guy because you can fight? To me, you’re nothing! I am-”
Before he could finish his words, Matthew hurled the steel pipe at him..
Frightened, Noah quickly dodged the weapon.
A bright light flashed from the corner of his eye, and he subconsciously raised his gun and aimed it at Matthew. But as he did, he realized his gun was gone and so was his hand.
