CHAPTER 29
CHAPTER 29
It was somewhat 3PM. When dua woke up. She didn't woke up by any sound or anything she woke up
because her body was aching. She was in the same position. Sitting. She didn't knew when she slept.
She stretched herself and on the lamp beside. Making the room a little brighter. She looked down on
her lap having armaan's head on it. She panicked at first but relaxed as it was useless to move him.
He was too heavy so and also she didn't wanted to wake him up in the process. Her hands went on the
his forehead to check his temperature. It wasn't that hot as it was before. Seems pills worked magically
with him. His forehead was wet because of sweat. She wanted to wipe it with a tissue but she couldn't NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.
they were on opposite table. So she did it with the sleeves of her dress. She was starring at his face.
He looked tired. Maybe because of work or her dua thought to herself.
A pain shoot down her back. Because in same position since long. She slowly began to shift his head
out of her lap. It took a while but she succeeded as he was in deep slumber of sleep because of the
pills he had. Armaan moved a little away making dua sign in relief. She stretched her self. She looked
at the couch being baddest option right now. She kept a pillow in between them and lay down.
Somehow she managed to sleep properly.
Next day dua wake up because of a little sunshine creeping in through a small peek from the window.
She rubbed her eyes with the palm. 'Sunshine that means I missed my prayer.' She whispered to her
self. She tried to move away but felt a weight on her she looked down at herself to see an arm draped
on her waist. At first she was horrified but later realized that it was armaan only. She recalled the
memories from the night. She tried to move his arm away but only made him smuggle close to her.
Her back was within his chest. Dua's alarm went high as she felt his breadth on her neck. He moved
closer to her. His doing it on purpose. She said to herself. But it felt good sleeping beside him. No. No.
No. Not falling mr.armaan rizvi. She moved away quickly away from him using all her energy. Which in
process woke up armaan too.
He seems confused but moment later his eyes were wide in realization. Dua was now standing in front
of him with her hands folded on her chest.
Armaan began to scratch back of his head before he spoke. " I kinda have this weird thing." He looked
from his lap to dua who was impatiently waiting for him to speak. I looked down too embarrassed to say
"I can't help but cuddle anything and anytime I sleep. Sorry for it. I didn't tell you that. I forgot to." He
completed and looked at dua again. Dua was scanning to catch any hint of lie in his voice. But there
wasn't any.
She left a deep breath and climbed up to him. Armaan's breath forget to make his way back to his
lungs. She lays her hands on his forehead to check upon his temperature. It wasn't. She relaxed as
she climbed down again.
"You ain't going for work." Dua said but it was more like an order. Armaan just nodded.
"What you'll have for breakfast." She asked with a smile.
"Anything." He replied.
"Okay. Then freshen up." She said and left.
Armaan smiled cheekily as he remmber her cheek were turned red tomato. He stretched himself and
went to freshen up. He climbed down the stairs, walking toward the kitchen. When a strong aroma of
food hit him. He sat on the breakfast nook. Seeing dua tie up her hair in a bun. He found it funny how
much she's engrossed in cooking that she never felt him coming.
She turned and froze on her place.
"Why couldn't you stop making me scare. I almost had an heart attack armaan." She said with her hand
on her chest. Armaan just chuckled at her. While she just rolled her eyes on him. She pushed a plate
towards him which had omelet just as he like, some toast. His coffee and his protein shake which
contains very much nothing and everything in it. While in other hand she settled with cereals and milk.
Dua kept running all the memories of yesterday night in marathon. Making her stomach erupt with
butterflies in it.
"Hm. I almost forgot." dua said pausing her eating. "Ammi called up." She looked at armaan who was
giving her complete attention. "She said that shehnaaz amma isn't getting well. We might have to visit
but later. You should call her." She said and began eating again.
Armaan nodded and said "yes. I would".
They sat in an comfortable silence.
Armaan was sitting on the couch in the hall. Changing channels after channels. He wasn't that type
person who can sit in place and not work. He was workaholic more after he got married.
After getting board out of his mind he wondered what dua would be doing. He began peeping from
couch into the kitchen which wasn't possible because only the a little part of door frame was visible.
He gulped nervously when saw dua coming down with a towel in her head and rubbing her hairs off.
Her face was glowing and that smile on her face was like bright moon in the night sky. She was calling
the maid. But armaan didn't hear her out. He was checking her out. She was breath taking. Armaan
lowered his graze but looked back at her since it wasn't haram if looked, scan, check his wife.
She caught him staring at her. She made a way towards him and stopped in front of him. She said
something but armaan had everything blurred except her. He was too busy looking at her that he
couldn't hear her say anything.
"Armaan. Armaan. Are you there." Dua said waving her hands in front of him.
"Hmm" he said.
"I asked what do you want in lunch." She said shaking her head at him.
"Come on say something." She said.
Armaan took a while to register her words.
"What about we go out,for lunch." He said but regretted the second later his words were in the air.
"Huh." Came out of her. She looked at him in disbelief. Did he really asked her. Okay. Yes but why. His
making efforts dua. Why don't you give him a try. Dua's inner voice said to herself.
Armaan was waiting her to speak something more then just huh. But after not getting a reply all his
hope drowned down the water. It made him irritating.
"Forget I asked you. Make what ever pleases you." Armaan said sulking and turned back towards the
television screen.
Dua gulped before she replied.
"I never deny free food." She turned and left but with a smile on her face. She liked the attention she
was getting from armaan. Deep down she knew she was gonna regret her decision later. But she likes
him making efforts.
A creepy smile appeared on armaan's face too as he watched her walk back to the kitchen.
