Chapter-61: Unmasking
Allison sucked a deep breath before stepping out of the car and stood beside her brother while looking at the front of her old pack, Midnight Crescent Moon pack. She held his hand and glanced at Lyceon who walked ahead of them in his almighty glory and dominating aura.
"Let's go!" Mason pulled her with him and comforted her by squeezing her hand. Today, they were going to reveal the true face of their Alpha and his wrongdoings and Mason was the living proof to show his treachery, to unmasking his true self.
Aztec walked beside Lyceon as an obliged Beta and Mason and Allison followed them. They headed directly toward the Alpha's packhouse. It was an uninvited call from them but the Alpha Ralph was informed when they passed his territory. The pups who were playing around ceased their movements and looked at Lyceon and others. They got scared seeing Him, his rugged face and intimidating aura. His steady dominating walk created whispers among them. Even a few people who were doing their regular activities stiffened and paused in their places. The Dark Lord visited there for the second time. They wondered why He came back when He already took what He wanted.
Fear gripped their hearts like a magnet and they bowed their heads in complete submission. When a few of them spotted Allison and Mason walking behind, their eyes widened and they were stunned to see Mason alive.
Alpha Ralph came sprinting out of the packhouse with his Beta and Delta trailing behind. It seemed like the presence of Lyceon shook him even behind the walls of his lavish house.
"King..." He greeted politely before bowing his head in respect. Lyceon stopped and looked at him with a bored expression.
"King, if I knew beforehand I would have welcomed you grandly. Anyways, it's a pleasure to see you again." Lyceon's lip tugged upwards looking at the good-for-nothing Alpha. He could see through his malicious personality and sugar-coated wording.
"And I would like to take this pleasure on my side, Alpha Ralph. I came here with a big surprise for you. You wanna check?" Lyceon smirked as He slid aside to reveal Mason in front of them.
Alpha Ralph's eyes widened as he saw one of his best warriors, Mason standing there in one piece. All of their expressions were the same as their Alpha. Slowly other members of the pack gathered there, looking at unfolding the scene with unexpected gazes. Mason walked ahead to face his so-called Alpha.
"Greetings, Alpha!"
He said casually but there was no respect for him on his features, this man caused his father's and his warriors friends' deaths.
"Yo.. you. How could this be possible?" Alpha Ralph was lost for words as his face turned white as a sheet. How could Mason survive? He investigated all the warriors he sent after the war to check if they were alive or not? None of them survived or were seen anywhere then.
"Long story short, Alpha. Won't you invite us inside? Nah! Actually, let the show begin only here!" Lyceon chuckled and gestured something at Aztec who nodded in return.
"Everyone, Get together here!" Aztec guided them to stand on one side. Allison looked through the crowd to find Nora and Naomi but she couldn't find them, but then she spotted Scarlett, the college bitch glaring at her with contempt. Allison shifted her gaze and got tensed about her friends. They were not seen there. If those vampires hurt them? The thought merely put her heart haywire.
Lyceon walked near Alpha Ralph who was glued to the hard ground in shock and fear. His beta and delta stiffened and slowly moved back in fear, leaving their Alpha to deal with the Lycan king himself.
"Tsk tsk...even your Beta and Delta are not loyal, Alpha. So where do we start?" Lyceon walked around him in a circle, emitting a powerful aura which was enough for the Alpha to shake.
"We would like to know, What the Vampire King offered to you in return to participate in the war against the Dark Walkers, Alpha?"
Alpha Ralph gasped and swallowed in tension, he realised the Dark Lord came prepared to expose him or might finish him.
"I...King, this boy might have told you a lie, I never had any connection with the Vampires so far. Why would I do that? He is trapping me! How did you find him? He might be a spy working from their side." Mason rolled his eyes and stood tall waiting patiently for his turn. Alpha Ralph tried to reason to mislead him. But his throat turned dry as Lyceon stopped behind him and hummed leisurely.
"Wrong answer, Alpha. I will ask you one more time! Did Keir Frederick approach you with a deal to go against me? Did he visit here? Give me some information, Alpha."
Allison frowned at his interrogation. She didn't know about this vampire king at all though she only heard his name once or twice in the books. She wondered if Lyceon was talking about the historical creature who once attacked the supernatural to gain reign hundred years ago.
The beads of sweat appeared on Alpha Ralph's forehead. "No...no. He didn't."

People were viewing their interaction with wide eyes. Mason looked around and found a few familiar faces.
"Hmm! Mason, would you like to reveal something?" Lyceon asked him, walking towards his direction. From NôvelDrama.Org.
"They need to know the truth!" He urged as He walked past him to his mate, Allison. Mason sighed and nodded. He looked at his Alpha and gave him a look of pure hatred.
"Three months ago, we were sent to the Blue moon pack to assist them in a fight with a rival pack. The best warriors from the Midnight crescent moon pack were chosen to fight but that time we were not told that we were going to fight against the Lycans, the Dark Lord, the Dark Walkers.."
Everyone gasped in shock, listening to him and exchanged glances to each other.
"Mason, stop it..." Alpha Ralph tried to dominate him with his Alpha tone but it failed on Mason. Since Mason joined the Dark Walkers, it didn't work on him anymore. His loyalty transferred to Lyceon automatically.
"Yes, we were kept in the dark and only happened to know when the dark walkers jumped into the battlefield and the Lycan king himself. Being the loyal warriors of our pack, we didn't back off but tried to ask the Blue Moon pack to hold back the fight but they didn't stop. Because It was planned accordingly." Mason's hateful gaze caught the sight of his previous Alpha.
