Lyceon - The dark lord

Chapter-20 - Red eyes

Allison switched turns from left to right and sighed loudly. She couldn't remember how she passed out in the evening on the very same bed but now sleep was far away from her in this unfamiliar and eerie place. Throwing the duvet aside, she got up and walked to the washroom. Her mind had been messed up since the evening after hearing the news. She needed to release and vent out her frustration. It was really complicated and tricky to plan her stay here.

She washed her face, splashed extra water into her eyes and patted dry her face. She was wondering if she could survive in this dark hell for long.

'Definitely, Lyceon's obsession with me will come to an end one day and He might end up killing me like others. And I might propose it, rather than allow him to get into my pants.' Allison thought. 'That monster can only have this purpose. Otherwise I Am nothing special or powerful like other creatures. I am just a human who is useless to him.'

Those red, crimson eyes of his haunted her dreams recently. She was sure it has something related to him and the endearment He uses for her.

Red eyes!

Suddenly Allison saw the reflection of red eyes in the grand mirror in front of her. She blinked up and an abrupt scream left her mouth when she spotted him standing behind her like a spirit, looking at her intensely with his hawk eyes. She panted hard, her mouth shut tightly at once feeling his deadly aura emitting around the constricted four walls of the washroom.

Allison spun her head around and back stepped from him. Her hair covered her face like a thin curtain with an abrupt turn.

"Wh.. what?"

She tried to ask courageously but her voice came out like a scared mouse. He seemed to be in a daze. But then His eyes glazed over at her and a deadly smirk made its way to his face.

Allison gulped her saliva, itching to rub the spot where her heart was thudding wildly. She sank her back into the wash basin as He stepped close to her and cornered her against it. He leaned his face down and whispered.

"Ain't able to sleep, Angel?" His smooth velvety whisper caused goosebumps aroused over her body. She thinned her lips not answering him.Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.

He hummed and raised his hand, for a second Allison turned numb as He twirled her locks into his rough lengthy fingers effortlessly before tucking it behind her ears. She stiffened. They just breathed there in silence when Allison dared to look into those flashy eyes and almost gasped. His gaze seemed to be filled with something close to...... Tenderness.

What?

How in the world can this killer produce such emotion? Is He the same with all of his victims? Showing affection before hunting them down. Did He do the same with his... Mate? Allison thought as she felt his fingers grazing her skin softly.

"I love the way your heart gets affected by my presence, it beats wildly with my closeness. Do I stimulate you that much, Sweetheart?" His sultry deep voice put her nerves on edge. Suddenly it became difficult for her to breathe in his robust presence.

"It's good because you will get accustomed to my presence near you till the right time comes." He nodded thoughtfully.

Right time? To kill me?

"Did you have a good day? Did you dine well?" He was asking her like a long lost friend.

"I want to go home.." Allison blurted out and almost flinched by her own demanding tone.

Shit Ali!

He breathed in slowly with a sharp look in his cold eyes. The fondness Allison imagined before was wiped out and the stiffness took place in them.

She couldn't get the time to think when He effortlessly pulled her up and placed her on the spare space of the countertop near the basin and parted her legs before standing in between.

Allison gasped audibly and placed her hands on his muscular chest to push him away but He caught them and loomed over her sitting self.

"This is your home, Angel. With me, bedside me. You ain't going anywhere. What did I tell you before?" she could sense him restraining his ferocious growl by the waves in his dark eyes. Allison lowered her eyes when tears pricked in them. "But it's not. No. You... You can have any girl in the world you wish. More beautiful, powerful and most importantly among your kind. I am nothing near being competent to the females in your kingdom. Why me? I can make no use of you." She tried to knock some sense into him, spurring him to discard her and it was the truth.

She felt him raising her face up by placing two fingers under her chin and caught her gaze. Allison resisted the urge to flung his hand away but she didn't want to be found dead in this classy washroom in her own bloodbath. "Did anyone say something to you? Any woman here?" He finally snarled, unblinking. Allison sighed and shook my head.

"No. But it's not the answer to my question!" she complained and stood on her interrogation.

He kept looking at her for a long time. Allison felt herself lost in the serpent tattoo over his rugged face. It gave some sort of attractive vibes to his artistic face. Not to forget adding the ferocious layer to his magnificent face. This man is too gorgeous to deny. She wondered how old He was.

"Because I chose you. It's You and no one else." Allison heard his rigid tone, pulling her senses back. Sadness engulfed her by his response.

"Do you have an ulterior motive to drag me here?" She couldn't help but ask and to her dismay a dark chuckle resonated around the whole area.

He grabbed her hips and shook his head slightly. The few tendrils of his dark hair swing loosely on his forehead. Allison grew the stupid urge to swipe them back. She had never seen any man looking this stunning with raven hair on his white complexion. He indeed was a piece of pure art. But his personality and demeanour....

"And Why would you say so?" He asked her curiously. His deep voice snapped her back into reality and she cursed herself for a mini second before blinking.

"Because primarily you came to kill my pack but instead bargained with Alpha Ralph to buy me in exchange for their lives. Is there something you want out of me?" She asked bitterly because the seed of doubt sat strongly in her mind. She heard the animalistic growl reverberating from his chest and it made her stiffen. His nails dig into her hips, roughly making her wince.
