released ased now.
WITH ONE SWIFT MOTION, Siegren lifted Helga into his arros, her body shaking with sobs as all of the pent-up emotions from earlier finally broke free. Siegren clenched his jaw in anger he wanted to take revenge on Demian himself, but he knew it wasn't his place. He just gently placed a hand on Helga's head and softly patted her, trying to offer comfort. She buried her face into his chest, seeking solace and comfort in the steady rise and fall of his breathing. Her body shook with sobs, each one a release of pent-up fear and worry until she felt safe and secure in his strong embrace. Finally, as the last of her tears fell, he gently placed her on the ground and began to untie her bound hands. Once she calmed, she lifted her head to see the sight before her; the victims of Demian's heinous crimes being escorted away by the royal guards, led by Ludwig himself. She couldn't help but feel a sense of relief just watching their eyes filled with hope. "Are you okay?" Siegren's words snapped her back to reality. She turned to look at him, and despite wanting to assure him that she was okay, she couldn't bring herself to lie. All the emotions and thoughts that she had suppressed since arriving here were begging to be "No, I'm not okay." She hesitantly admitted her feelings before wrapping her arms tightly around him. The comforting warmth of his embrace immediately soothed her, but it wasn't enough to fully erase the disgust that still lingered from. Demian's touch. Just the thought of his leering gaze and the feeling of his dirty hands grazing her skin made her stomach churn with unease. Siegren gently brushed away her tears and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead. He wanted to ask her so many questions but now wasn't the time or place. The war was still raging, and they couldn't let their guard down until they were sure of victory. "Don't worry, everything's fine. And I have good news." He took her hand in his, their fingers intertwining as they turned to face the source of the growl. It was David and Lucian, still in their wolf forms, emerging from the room with blood staining their muzzles. Helga's heart swelled with with relief f at the sight of them safe and unharmed. but she couldn't shake the worry for Riovanni. A sudden urgency rose isnide her to check on him, to make sure he was fine. "He's fine, he's got the upper hand in the fight." Lucian's words echoed in Helga's mind, halting her from whatever she was about to do. Her attention then shifted to Siegren as he began speaking. "We should get out of here, there are still tasks on our list that need to be completed."
he said as he began walking, gently tugging her to follow him. She smiled in understanding and followed obediently, pausing for a moment to take one last look at the room before walking with David and Lucian's wolf flanking each of them. As t they emerged into the open air, Siegren's command rang out to his trusted beta and gamma. They dashed off to carry out their alpha's orders to help their pack member eliminate any trace of Riovanni's pack, except for the innocent ones who had been evacuated before the attack. Have

"Yes, he was the one who shared the information with me about your whereabouts," he answered, recalling how he almost killed him when he approached him. Fortunately, he was able to control himself when he mentioned Helga's name with pure desperation in his eyes. "He's currrently fighting his pack members; it seemed that he was on our side... What exactly happened?"
Helga explained every detail of their abduction and the chain of events that led them to this point. However, she withheld the details of Demian's***rt actions out of fear that he would return to the basement and kill him. As she spoke, Siegren nodded attentively, his ears filled with the constant growls and groans of the ongoing battle between Lycans and wolves on the palace grounds. The air was thick with tension and the scent of blood as the two sides clashed in a violent fight for dominance.
"But why didn't you shift? I'm sure you could have avoided being taken if you had let your woll instincts take control" 13:03 Fri Oct 18 Chapter 125

Helga's body tensed as she heard the question. She pressed her lips together and observed as he tightened his grip on her hand while they strolled through the middle of pack war.
The thought of telling him about her pregnancy weighed heavily on her mind as she walked alongside him, the late afternoon breeze cooling their skin. But before she could even come to a decision, a man appeared out of nowhere, sprinting towards them with desperation etched on his face. He gasped for air and was drenched in sweat, clearly pushing his body to the limit just to catch up to them. Her brow furrowed in confusion as she tried to place who he was, but Siegren seemed to know him given the lack of alarm or protection be provided her. "W-who is he?" she asked, observing the young man with his hands resting on his knees, breathing heavily after chasing after them. His blonde hair and dark eyes sparked a sense of recognition, but she was positive this was was her first time seeing
him
"He's the good news I was talking about earlier." Siegren's response left Helga feeling utterly bewildered and intrigued. She studied the young man once more, realizing that he was probably in his teenage years. He stood tall and slowly regained his composure. "We freed him from the dungeon, he revealed that he was a warlock and claimed to be an apprentice of your mother"
"What?" Helga's eyes widened as she remembered the warlock who had been taken prisoner a few days ago, the one looking for the grand witch's daughter. "Are you really my mother's apprentice?"

He stumbled over his words, unsure of how to address her. Not only was she the princess of Narva, but also the queen of Verdentia. He took a deep breath, trying to compose himself, but found himself getting lost in Helga's "Stop staring, tell her what excatly you told me earlier when you begged me to spare you" Siegren commanded, jolting the young warlock back to the present moment. He swallowed hard, clearing his throat and rubbing the back of his neck in nervousness as he met her gaze. M-my name is Gelo... The reason I was wandering near the palace walls was because a maid from the Lycan kings palace, who often bought fruits from my cart, had told me that the hidden princess of Narva was being held there. I thought I should save you, but I guessed, I got ahead of myself." he explained, embarrassed to admit his incompetency. "I'm sure, Luna Hellen and Alpha Gaeron would be happy to meet you... D-do you want to come home with me? I know where they live."
Helga's mouth hung slightly, not quite believing her own cars. She then felt Siegren's hand squeezing her, causing her to look at him, his lips curving into a warm smile as he gave her an encouraging nod..
"I-I will come with you," she answered as she returned her focus to Gelo whose expression brightened with happiness. "R-really? I'm sure they would be happy. Their prayers were always to see you again. Also, when they received word that you had become the queen of Verdentia, they couldn't hold back their tears." The young warlock exclaimed, his excitement overflowing and unable to be contained. Helga felt a lump form in her throat at the thought of finally meeting her parents after decades apart. She couldn't help but wonder how they looke looked now, as their faces had become hazy and distant over the years in her memory. "We'll go once we settled things here," Siegren spoke, and Helga odded, but they were both distracted when a burst of energy surged towards the wing palace, causing their hair to stand on end. Their eyes widened as they witnessed two Lycans locked in battle, bloodied and injured. "It's Riovanni and his father," Helga's face twisted with worry as he obsevred the brutal fight between them. Their sharp claws sliced through flesh and bone, spraying blood in every direction. She instinctively covered her mouth, trying to block out the overwhelming stench of death and violence.
Should I help him?" Siegren was ready to jump into action, but Helga stopped him with a shake of her head and a tug on his hand. She knew Riovanni wouldn't appreciate any interference in his fight with his father. In the days that she had been with him, he had learned how much Riovanni despised his father and how miserable and painful his life was because of him. 13:03 Fri, Oct 18> Chapter 125

In addition to killing his mother through excessive physical abuse, Riovanni's father also destroyed him m****ly with his constant controlling behavior, Riovanni had endured so much pain and suffering, and he believed that ending the source of it all his own father would bring him peace, "No, let him. Riovanni can handle it alone." Her confident tone sent a twinge of something unfamiliar through Siegren, but he pushed it aside. He couldn't let his jealousy overtake him as he observed how concerned she appeared while watching Riovanni For two whole weeks, his s wife had been away from him, and during that time, she was under the protection of another man.
He knew it was wrong for him to think of these ridiculous thoughts, but a lot could have happened in those short times... What if, just what if Helga had developed feelings for Riovanni?
A wave of remained fixed on his now-empty hand. Slowly, they followed Helga's movements as she approached the two motionless Lycans.

Helga released his hand and called out for Riovanni's name in terror as she rushed towards him. His mind went blank for a moment as his eyes He clenched his fist and shook his head before walking towards them. Shock flooded through him as he laid eyes on Demian's chest, a gaping hole where his heart should have been. Then he gazed at Riovanni who held the o***an in his hand. gripping it like a mere toy. "H-hey, Riovanni. Can you hear me?" Helga patted his hairy shoulder gently; he was still in his Lycan form. His body was covered in deep wounds, blood seeping out of each one. And she could see that he was close to death from the amount of blood loss. "Let's take him on our physician, I brought our "No," Helga shook her head, "There's no time, he would die."
Siegren's spine tingled as he watched Helga raise her arm and bring it near her mouth. He furrowed his brow and quickly intervened, stopping her from biting herself. "What are you doing?" he asked, though the answer was already obvious. Helga pursed her lips and looked at him with determination in her eyes. She knew this was risky, but she had no choice. She couldn't have Riovanni dying on her watch, not after they mended their friendship. "I'm going to save him by giving him my blood."
