GOLDEN ARMOR
"Hey! Stop there!" The guys shouted, running after them, bringing out their weapons as they ran. After running for some time, Lucinda and Medusa got tired. They spotted a tree in front of a duplex and rested under it, breathing rapidly, trying to catch their breath.
"Did we lose them?" Lucinda asked panting. Medusa looked over the tree and sighted them.
"No, they are behind us." She replied. Lucinda scrunched her face.
"I am tired of running. Let's just get rid of them." Lucinda said. Medusa looked around the surroundings; they were in a peaceful and quiet area.
"It seems we are the only ones here. Let's do it." Medusa said. She stood up on her feet and spread her wings. Lucinda struggled to stand on her feet and started levitating a chair that was in front of the house to hit the guys. The guys came to a halt. Fear gripped them as they saw Medusa's wings. Their legs started wobbling in fear.
"They are witches!" one of them shouted.
"Let's run for our lives!" The other one added, Lucinda lifted the chair and threw it in their direction. They took to their heels before the chair could hit them, running away with all their strength.
"Hahaha!" Lucinda and Medusa burst into laughter, laughing hard. There was water in the corner of Lucinda's eyes as she laughed.
"My husband was right! Humans are very greedy." She remarked. Medusa's eyes rested on the armor.
"So, it's real gold. Why don't we go to the mall, get new clothes, and sell your gold armor for money to rent a house." Medusa suggested.
"Yes, let's go, and what's the mall?" Lucinda asked.
"Let's go, you still have a lot to learn." Medusa said.

After a long walk, they both arrived at the mall. They both walked into the mall. They strolled on the main floor. Lucinda was admiring the whole place, Medusa pulled her into an elevator. "Whoa! Ahhh!" Lucinda screamed in fear as she stood in the elevator.
"Don't be scared, it's just me." Medusa said. Lucinda put her hand over her face as Medusa pressed the up button in the elevator.
"What's this place?" Lucinda asked, frightened.
"Don't be scared, it's called an elevator. The place we are going is up. We can't use the stairs because it's too long, so we have to use this instead." Medusa said.
"The human world is quite complicated." Lucinda said and sighed, wiping sweat off her forehead.
"It's so complicated that it took me years to understand human ways." Medusa said. They waited there for a few seconds. The door of the elevator parted. They strolled out of the elevator together. Medusa took her to the cart section and picked a big cart. Pushing it down the hallway of the clothing section. Lucinda got excited and took the cart from her, pushing it herself. They stopped at a dress store. Medusa started picking clothes for Lucinda to try on, tossing them into the cart.
"So, this is where humans buy their clothes?" Lucinda asked, going through all the clothes in the cart.
"Here, take this floral dress. I think it will look good on you." Medusa said, handing it to Lucinda. Lucinda took it from her.
"Everything looks good on me," Lucinda beamed.
"I know, go put it on," Medusa said.
"Where?" Lucinda asked.
"Over there." Medusa said she shoved the cart away and pushed Lucinda into the dressing room before she could complain. She paid for all the clothes and also chose some clothes for herself. She took the shopping bags from a sales representative and went to the waiting area. She sat on a couch reading a magazine as she waited for Lucinda. Lucinda struggled to wear the human dress, gnashing her teeth, and strolled out of the dressing room that was close to the waiting room, flaunting the dress as she walked.
"How do I look?" she asked. Medusa marveled at the dress; it made Lucinda look beautiful and clung to her body revealing her perfect curve. Without paying much attention to Lucinda, she quickly ran into the dressing room, putting the armor in a black polythene bag. Lucinda followed her to the dressing room and opened the curtains. Her mouth opened wide in utter shock.
"What the hell? Is this armor more important than me?" Lucinda asked, frowning. Medusa finished packing the armor, flipped her hair backward, and looked at her.
"It isn't, I just need to keep it, to be on the safer side, you look good by the way." She complimented her doing an okay sign with her hand. Lucinda snickered. Medusa took her receipt from the front desk, carrying the shopping bags with Lucinda as they made their way out of the mall.
"Let's go and exchange the armor in the jewelry store," Medusa said.
"Okay, but I really like this armor. My husband gave it to me as a gift." Lucinda complained.
"Don't worry, your husband will have a new one made for you." Medusa assured. They stood close to the road. Medusa stopped a taxi. The taxi driver stopped and lowered the glass of his car, staring at them.
"Take us to any jewelry store nearby." Medusa said to the taxi driver. She opened the door of the car and got in. Putting the shopping bags in front of her. Lucinda examined the car with her hand before sitting next to Medusa in the car, giving her the shopping bags, she was carrying. The driver ignited the car and drove off at a great speed.
"What's this called?" Lucinda whispered.
"It is called a car because it helps humans go places without using their legs." Medusa answered.
"Back in hell, we transport with our wings. All the things I have seen about humans tell me they are a lazy set of people." Lucinda commented, she noticed the driver was staring at her in the front mirror. She leaned over to whisper in Medusa's
ear.
"Are all the men on this earth like this, that they can't take their eyes off me?" Lucinda asked.
"It's how they are always interested in a beautiful girl. Just ignore them. You will get used to it as long as they don't approach or disturb you, because that's how they are." Medusa said. Lucinda stared weirdly at the driver and covered her face with her hand.
"My darling, how are you? How is earth." Lucinda heard the voice of Lucifer inside her head.Property of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.
