Love In Twilight By Tiny Mountains Chapter 449

Chapter 449 At This Moment, the Moon Shone Brightly Ray could be considered a competent nanny.

Whilst Damien was busy talking business, he would take pictures of everything Neil had done. He

would also take pictures of Neil‘s meals to show Damien that he wasn’t fooling around. Content is © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

On this day, Ray had brought Neil to the park to play with the other kids. It was obvious from the photos

that Neil had a lot of fun. He was even sweating profusely.

Ray suddenly came into Damien’s bedroom. “Oh, right. When I went back, Mrs. Faber asked me

whether you managed to see Caleb’s crush.”

Damien paused, but he didn‘t say anything, “Close the door when you leave!”

Ray was speechless.

After a moment’s consideration, Damien made a collage of the photos Ray had sent to him and posted

it on his Instagram with a simple caption. Damien: (My three-year-old.) He didn‘t normally post

anything, and every time he did, he had his motives. Ever since Clarissa left, he regularly posted

photos of Neil. It didn‘t matter to him whether Clarissa was still using her old account, because he had

already blocked her. He didn‘t want her to see any of his posts.

He wanted her to see what it felt like to be excluded from his and Neil‘s lives.

Didn’t she think she was oh-so-strong?

The next night, at Rainforest.

Chanel spent the whole day trying to make herself look presentable without making it too obvious. She

was extremely nervous.

After finally settling on a dress that was simple but not too plain, she met up with Clarissa. Clarissa got

into her car, feeling that she was just like a pimp as Damien had said. This date felt so awkward.

But Chanel had previously said she was head over heels for her husband. Plus, she and Damien were

already in their thirties. Wouldn‘t it be weird to still be obsessed with love and romance? This was just a

simple reunion between classmates.

Rainforest was a small building made of wood. There were lanterns everywhere, giving it a special

vibe.

Clarissa looked out of the window and told Chanel she had chosen a wonderful place. The arnbiance at

the restaurant was very suitable for an intimate gathering. It was only when she turned to smile at

Chanel that she noticed Damien had just stepped into the place.

Clarissa‘s face fell immediately. She didn’t even realize how abnormally Chanel was acting. The latter

seemed to be trembling. Damien sat down and ordered some food. Chanel’s voice was tremulous as

she spoke to him.

Damien pretended not to notice this, but Clarissa found it strange. They were old classmates. Even if

Chanel used to have a crush on him, it was a thing of the past, wasn‘t it? Chanel made small talk about

things that had happened during their school days.

Clarissa kept sipping at her tea. She didn‘t know any of the people the two were talking about.

When the food was served, she noticed that Damien had ordered most of her favorite dishes.

She couldn‘t take part in their conversation about the past, so she focused on eating.

After spending three years in Lotharia, Clarissa had her fill of their cuisine. Since her return to Merania,

she had eaten most of her meals at the university‘s canteen. It wasn‘t every day that

she got to eat exquisite dishes like these.

As Damien spoke to Chanel, his gaze would occasionally land on Clarissa. She wanted to have some

crab cakes, and it was brought to her on the turntable. She looked up and saw that Damien was the

one who had turned it over to her, so she nodded at him as thanks. When Clarissa was half full, her

phone suddenly rang. It was a call from Lisa, her student.

She excused herself and answered the phone. Lisa wanted to ask Clarissa some questions about

Clarissa‘s previous lecture. She said she hadn‘t managed to find anything on the topic, even after

scouring through all sorts of information. Clarissa felt that this was going to be a long call, so she

walked out of Rainforest. The restaurant wasn’t a big one. It was only after stepping out that she

noticed the moon hanging high up in the sky. As Lisa spoke, Clarissa hummed in acknowledgment and

told Lisa which books she could refer to.

Without even realizing it, the conversation went on for forty minutes.

At this moment, the moon shone brightly.
