Love In Twilight By Tiny Mountains Chapter 399
Chapter 399
Chapter 399 Huge Misunderstanding Connie made her appearance just as Clarissa was feeling down
in the dumps. Clarissa was taken aback by Connie‘s sudden popularity, as there were people
constantly requesting for her autographs the moment she came. Afterwards, Connie sat in front of
Clarissa.
“Long time no see,” Connie said.
Clarissa looked out the window, ignoring her cousin.
If killing were allowed in this nation, she would‘ve long done so.
“Clarissa, stop being together with Damien. Look at what he‘s done to us! He changed the closing
statement, and he even slept with Luke‘s girlfriend and got her pregnant! Why are you still with him?”
Clarissa stared at Connie, trying to figure out how the latter knew all these. She then came to the
conclusion that practically everyone was trying to force her to leave Damien.
“Tell your boss I‘ll be going to another country soon and won‘t be coming back,” Clarissa responded.
“Oh, why?” Connie felt relieved and happy at Clarissa‘s decision.
She hated how Clarissa was having the time of her life here. Clarissa lifted the corner of her lips and
gave Connie a sarcastic smile before leaving
At the President Suite of Reign Hotel.
Mr. Black Suit gave Iris a call to inform her about Clarissa’s decision to leave.
“Let‘s hope she‘s keeping her promise this time! Otherwise, she‘s dead meat,” Iris hissed.
She then hung up.
She took a seat on the sofa, and in front of her were Helen and Lucy.
“Did you do exactly as I told you to?” Iris demanded.
“We did, Mrs. Benson. It doesn‘t matter if she believed that I‘m her mother, or if Lucy was pregnant with
Damien‘s child. We have the recording. With that recording, it‘s impossible for Clarissa to have any
doubts. This time, she‘ll definitely leave Damien!” Helen was confident.
Iris let out a grating chuckle. “Good job! Let her abandon her own child and husband! I want her to
know what it‘s like to suffer!”
“You did a good job this time, Helen. Here‘s a check.” Iris glanced at the check on the table.
“Thank you, Mrs Benson,” Helen thanked her, delighted.
“You can stop seducing Mr. Lawrence for now. Don‘t contact him personally without my permission
from today onwards. We must tread carefully from this point.”
Helen bit her lips softly and whispered, “I understand.” She found it unfair, and was deeply dissatisfied. Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.
After all, who would be satisfied without a dashing man like Damien?
Helen had the same situation as Clarissa. Both of them had family issues to contend with. While
Clarissa was forced to help her ill mother, Helen had to do it for her brother.
The only difference was, Clarissa married Damien while she had to bear being used by Iris. Since then,
they went through very different lives. Right after that, Helen‘s phone started ringing. It was an
unknown number.
