Love In Twilight By Tiny Mountains Chapter 392

Chapter 392

Chapter 392 Are You Going to Kill Me? Clarissa was actually a pretty good cook, but she couldn’t really

make anything appear out of thin air. All that was left in the fridge were some buffalo wings, two eggs,

and some vegetables. She washed the vegetables, poached the eggs, and fried the buffalo wings.

The eggs were cooked pretty well.

When Clarissa brought the food into the room, Damien had just put his pants on. He was tightening his

belt, still topless,

Her heart pounded every time she saw his toned body, so she quickly averted her eyes.

“This is all we have. You’re going to have to make do with it.” She put the food down on her desk

There was a living room, but Clarissa and Yonah barely used it. They normally stayed in their rooms

Damien sat down on one end of the desk. Clarissa sat down in the middle and tried to study again.

She couldn’t help sneaking looks at him as he ate. Damien, on the other hand, kept glancing at her

books.

He could tell she had borrowed most of them from the library because of the library’s labels on them.

They were all the books that Joseph had recommended before.

How obedient of her! She hadn’t missed out on any of the books that Joseph had mentioned.

“Do you still journal?” Damien asked as he ate.

“Um…” Clarissa had her pen under her chin. “There’s nothing much to write about life in Emmeria.” “So

you had a lot to write about when you were living with me?” “You forced me to, remember?”

“Did you write all about our sex life?”

Clarissa glared at him, her face slowly turning red. “Shut up!” Damien couldn’t help laughing at her

embarrassed look. He continued eating.

She checked the time. It was the middle of the night in Merania, and everyone was still asleep. It

seemed that she’d have to wait till night to be able to see Neil.

When she saw that Damien was still topless, she asked, “Aren’t you cold?”

“No.”

Since he said so, she didn’t bother asking anymore. Anyway, she knew how high his temperature ran.

She could feel the warmth of his body whenever they were close to each other.

When Damien was done eating, Clarissa washed the dishes before returning to the room.

“What are you going to do now? Should I show you around?” she asked,

“Are you going to kill me for wasting your precious time?” he said teasingly. “Don’t all scholars think that

studying is more important than anything else?”

“Murder’s against the law.” She took her glasses off and put her jacket on.

Damien got dressed as well.

When they were downstairs, she wanted to drag him over to the bus stop, but he didn’t go along with

her. Instead, he walked to the car park and got into a luxurious Bugatti.

“Is this yours?” Clarissa was in disbelief.

“It’s registered under the subsidiary company, but yes, it does belong to me. That also makes it yours.”

Clarissa was at a loss. She thought she would be showing Damien around, but it was only at this

moment she recalled he had graduated from Rale University and had probably traveled all over

Emmeria years ago. Moreover, New East Corporation’s Emmerian subsidiary had been set up a long

time ago.

She suddenly felt defeated. It was as if she would never be able to escape him, no matter how much

she studied or how far she went.

She let her head fall back desolately, looking depressed. “What’s wrong?” Damien turned to look at her.
