Living With My Lady Boss

Chapter 470

After the square was empty, Elsa and her team entered the battlefield.

They took one look at the devastating wreckage left behind and huffed in awe.

Wilbur and Ryder returned to Sealake Island and got on the bridge.

All of a sudden, a figure appeared within sight screaming for help.

Wilbur turned around. Under the moonlight and bleeding from the corner of her mouth was Gertridge, tripping over her feet as she made her way over. Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.

She leaped off the bridge, landing heavily on Sealake Island.

Behind her, a figure stopped in his tracks before hiding behind the nearest tree.

Wilbur grabbed Ryder's super cannon, firing a shot.

A deafening sound rang through the air, and the tree the figure was standing behind snapped in half. The figure let out a cry of agony, flying over ten meters away and fleeing in a bloody mess.

"Wantto go after him?" Ryder asked.

Wilbur sneered. "This better not happen again, or | swear I'll destroy Riverbank Blossoms." It was unclear if the wounded figure had heard Wilbur as he disappeared into the night.

Judging from the blood left behind, the assailant was definitely in bad shape, if not dead.

Wilbur tossed the super cannon to Ryder, who said, "You're better with it than | am." "lI haven't used a gun in years," said Wilbur.

Ryder was speechless.

Just then, Wilbur cup to Gertridge still lying on the ground. "You really have got snerve." "I told you | have no other choice. They really wantdead, and I've got nowhere else to hide. That's why | had to chere," Gertridge replied feebly.

Wilbur scoffed. "Aren't you afraid | would kill you?" "Death is death. It doesn't really matter," Gertridge shrugged.

Wilbur fell silent before saying, "You're out of here the second you get better. This isn't sshelter for you to take refuge in." "Thank you, you're the best! I'll be gone the second I've healed up," Gertridge swore.

Wilbur scoffed and went back to his room. "I'm going to need your help with that report." "Of course, Deacon Penn. I'll show it to you after I'm done," said Ryder.

Wilbur nodded and entered his room before closing the door.

Ryder cto the office. He pushed a button, and a blue light filled the entire room.

"Peak Sanctuary level. Possesses mysterious powers including a Higher Order spell named the Spear of Death, which is probably not the extent of his limits." He sent the message out and pushed the secret button. The blue light disappeared, and he got to writing the report after that.

Constantine returned to the church and happened to run into the bishop on patrol. "Where did you go? You're on shift for night cleaning duty. Why haven't you done it?" "I'm sorry, Bishop, | had serrands to run. I'll get to cleaning right now." Constantine picked up a broom right after and began to sweep.

Eileen returned to her room, falling right into bed without even undressing as she murmured, "Incredible! Truly incredible. It really, really seems likely." Just then, Wilbur finally sat down in his room, leaning against his bed in fatigue.

The Spear of Death had drained him of spiritual energy, and he was absolutely exhausted.

However, the thought of Cadillacia's corpse made him perk up with excitement and he entered his demiplane.
