Chapter 406
Wilbur had no choice but to exit the car. He looked at Jonah. "My good man, | told you not to start any trouble." "We're not close enough for you to callthat!" Jonah immediately shouted in response.
"What an idiot, he doesn't even know what he's gotten himself into." "I can't believe he still had the nerve to say that. What a joke." "Anyone who dares get on Mister Jemson's bad side has a death wish. I'm surprised he doesn't know that." "Acting all cocky in Rivertune City, does he take us for a joke?" Everyone mocked and jeered at Wilbur coldly with disdainful expressions on their faces.
The two ladies even covered their mouths from how hard they were giggling, shaking their heads as they looked at Wilbur.
Wilbur could just about guess that all of them cfrom backgrounds of wealth and power. They were used to getting things their way.
He chuckled at Jonah. "Dude, we just had a little argument. Are you sure this is necessary?" "This isn't about the argument anymore!" Jonah fumed. "No one in Rivertune City tellswhat to do. You'd have been fed to the beasts up that hill if | had pulled the trigger earlier." Wilbur sighed. "Do your parents know about you acting like this?" "Who the f*ck do you think you are, talking tolike that?" "You must be tired of living." "Do you needto break your legs to teach you a lesson?" Wilbur's expression finally darkened. "Get out of the way." "Trying to leave, are we?" Jonah sneered. "That's not happening today, I'm afraid. We've got a jail cell waiting with your non it." "What's the meaning of that?" Wilbur said coldly.
Just then, Chase said, "Boss, let's just beat him up before anything else. This guy's far too cocky." "Hey, let's not get physical at the drop of a hat. It's unsightly behavior," said Jonah.
Chase frowned. "What do you say we do then, Boss?" "I'm suspecting them of illegal hunting. Call Special Forces and have them arrest these two to be interrogated." Jonah smiled smugly.
Chase barked out a laugh. "Good thinking, Boss. Nice one." Just then, one of the girls next to Jonah said to Wilbur, "Con, why did you have to go looking for trouble with Mister Jemson? Now look at what you've done. Just apologize to Mister Jemson and he might go easy on you." "Yes, Mister Jemson's a good man. Get on your knees and beg at his feet. After that, he'll drop the matter. Isn't that right, Mister Jemson?" the other lady crooned.
Jonah merely smirked, saying nothing.
Wilbur sighed. "You really are a ruthless bastard, huh? Do your parents know that this is the kind of person their son turned into?" "I'm warning you, one more word about my parents and I'll kill you right here," Jonah shouted.
One of the ladies frowned. "What's your problem, huh? Are you really going to keep this up until you end up getting the crap beaten out of you or end up in jail?" "I think Mister Jemson over here might be the one to get beaten up and land himself in jail," Wilbur said coldly. ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .
The other lady immediately shook her head. "There's really no saving you. We even tried speaking up for you to Mister Jemson but you refused our kindness. We can't help you anymore if you've got a death wish." "How are you so sure that I'm the one with a death wish here, huh?" Wilbur replied.
Jonah flared up in anger when Wilbur still retaliated. Before Special Forces could even get there, he shouted, "F*ck you! Beat him up right now! | want a broken leg and tooth, at the very least. Let's see what he has to say after that!" "Get him!" Someone shouted those two words as a group of people charged toward Wilbur all at once.
Just then, a Special Forces car cspeeding over. It halted abruptly, and a small team of officers emerged.
The captain of the team immediately shouted out, "Don't get physical, there's nothing that can't be talked about!"
