IT’S NORMAL TO BE UGLY, BUT I HAVE FEELINGS.

Chapter two. Witch Merinda

With a journey to Paris underway, Kayus’ parents were faced with one constant worry: how to survive in the sunlight in their new city? In Draconian, they lived peacefully through the night, without needing to face the dangers of sunlight. But now, in Paris, the situation was different.

It was then that Paola remembered an old friend, the witch Merinda, who lived in the Draconian and was known to help vampires in sensitive matters. She possessed ancient and powerful knowledge of magical objects that could grant protection and concealment from human suspicion.

Paola knew that Merinda would be able to create a powerful amulet that would allow Kayus and her parents to walk in the sun without arousing suspicion. She had an idea with Kayus’s family, and they agreed that seeking the witch’s help was the best option.

Arriving at Merinda’s medical residence, they were greeted by an enigmatic figure. The witch, with gray hair and sparkling eyes, soon understood the situation and was willing to help.

“I know this journey to Paris is important to you, and I’m willing to help you meet the challenge of sunlight,” Merinda said in a soft, mysterious voice.

The witch set to work in her cauldron, creating a unique and powerful potion. She asked each of Kayus’s family members to contribute a drop of their own blood, as this would give strength and authority to the magical object being created.

After the ritual, Merinda revealed the object – a delicate amulet, adorned with runes and mystical symbols, with a subtle and enchanting glow. The sculpture would be able to shield them from sunlight and disguise their true vampire nature when necessary.

“This amulet is unique and non-transferable. Only you, with your blood ties and pure hearts, will be able to use it. Under the sunlight, it will protect you and make you indistinguishable from humans”, explained the witch.

Grateful for Merinda’s help, Kayus’s family held the amulet in their hands with reverence and gratitude. Paola took the cords and placed the amulets around each neck, knowing the witch had provided them with a powerful tool to face the challenge of living in Paris and protect themselves from the prying eyes of human society. With the magical amulet around their necks, the Kayus family set sail for Paris with renewed hope and confidence. Upon arriving in the city, they could feel the vibrant and welcoming energy that it exuded. Paris was a place full of possibilities, where each person found their own space to shine.

Kayus started his journey at the fashion university, and his talent and originality did not go unnoticed. He captivated his peers and teachers with his bold and autonomous creations, earning respect and recognition in an environment that celebrated individuality.

Kayus’s parents, in turn, found ways to integrate into human society, thanks to the protection provided by the magical amulet created by Merinda. They could walk the streets of Paris during the day, enjoying the city and its unique atmosphere.

Paola also found her place in Paris, using her clairvoyant abilities to guide her way and help those in need of guidance. She continued to dream of her true human love, but she knew that in the meantime she had an important mission to accomplish.

Together, Kayus and Paola’s family formed a close-knit community where differences were valued and celebrated. They found Paris to be the perfect place for them, a city that embraced diversity and offered endless opportunities for personal growth and fulfillment.

On this new journey, they learned that true beauty was not in appearance, but in the trust and love that emanated from their hearts. They discovered that love, friendship and courage could overcome any obstacle and make even the most extraordinary dreams possible. So they forged ahead, facing the unknown with hope and experience, ready to embrace all the wonders Paris had to offer.Content rights by NôvelDr//ama.Org.
