Alternate Story
Noah walks with his jacket in hand and hair disheveled. He had run his hands through it multiple times begging Nichole to please not break up with him. He never expected that their relationship of ten years would come to an end so soon. They have been dating since he was seventeen years old. Everyone had supported them how was he going to tell his mom that the ship had sunk?
He plopped to the bar and sat. He gave the barman a small smile.
“Good evening, what can I get you?” he asked.
“Whiskey” he murmurs taking out his phone and setting it on the table. It chimes and the screen turns on. A picture of Nichole in her bathing suit greets him. He groans at the thought of her. “I need to get drunk,” he tells the barman
The bar nods and gets to refilling his glass every time he downs the cup. Noah’s eyes roam around the bar and it lands on a sobbing girl. Her black hair fell all over her back
Rachael didn’t know what the barman kept putting her cup but she kept downing it each time he put it. She slid her card to him ready to stop but she changed her mind and put back her card into her purse. She hadn’t achieved why she had come in here.
Noah sat close to her as he took in her scent. She smelt of vanilla and cinnamon. What a combination!
“Hey,” he said trying to smile but he was pretty sure it came out as a bad attempted smile.
“Me?” she said her eyes widening a bit. It wouldn’t go further because she was already getting drunk. Her hands on her chest to emphasize her question.
“Of course you,” Noah told her taking a sip of what was in his cup. He had to talk it slowly if he wanted to leave here on his two feet.
“Oh hey,” she told him giving him an awkward wave.
“Why are you crying?” Noah said his hand almost going to her face to wipe off the tears that were stuck right there threatening to fall.
“It’s kinda funny one,” she said slurring and her words not making any sense to her.
“We got the whole night” Noah replied before downing the whole thing. He signaled for the barman to refill his glass. Rachael took her glass to her mouth and poured everything down. She frowned at the bitter taste that hit the back of her throat.
“Let’s have shots” Noah suggested to her and nodded to the barman. He proceeded to give them six glasses.”I’ll tell you why I’m here today and you will tell me yours,” he said taking the glass to his mouth.
Rachael nodded before gulping down one of the shots.Content provided by NôvelDrama.Org.
“I lost a very important deal today” she murmured to him. He nodded and proceeded to take another glass. She took that as a cue to raise another glass to her mouth.
“I broke up with my girlfriend” Noah shot out immediately he dropped the glass. “More like fiancee and she broke up with me ”
“I’m sorry” she murmured taking another glass.
“We both lost something so let’s get a drink tonight,” Noah said and she nodded in approval.
“That’s why we are here”
By the time Noah used his cell phone to call his driver to take them to the nearest hotel, they were both wasted. How Noah was able to operate his phone correctly was a shock to his driver.
As soon as they left the car into a room the driver checked in for them. They sat on the bed.
“No sex” Rachael blurted out and laughed at herself.
“Yes definitely” he agreed joining her to laugh.
“You can take a shower,” he told her sitting on the couch a safe distance from her. He badly wanted to kiss her. He cautioned himself and blamed the alcohol.
“I will be right out,” she said as she staggered to the bathroom.
She stood under the shower with her clothes fully on. Once the cold water had touched her she became fully awake. Still drunk but past the dizziness and blur.
Then it hit her, her clothes were on her. What is she to change to?
“Mr. Man?” she screamed switching off the shower so he could hear her properly.
“Yes…..” he waited for her to supply her name.
“You can call me sweets,” she told him and he chuckled. She was cute, wasn’t she? “My clothes are fully wet can you give me a robe and ask room service to take the clothes for dry cleaning?”
“Sure,” he said and did as she said.
She shuffled out of the bathroom feeling a headache coming on she drank water hit the bed she dozed off immediately.
Once Noah came out, he smiled at the sight of her sleeping. He gently kissed her head and prepared to leave.

He left her there and ventured silently to the cab. Remaining in that room he might be tempted beyond his control. As the driver drove away. Thoughts of ‘sweets’ consumed his brain and he hoped to meet
