SINGAPORE
“Are you alright?” While driving the car, Ezekiel worriedly asked Samarra.
She held her chin and turned to face Ezekiel. “How strange.” She couldn’t stop sighing.
Ezekiel looked at her, puzzled. “Strange? What do you mean?”
“Are you aware of what Cadden did?”
“What did he do to you?”
She narrated everything Zachary had done to her, from cooking her breakfast to blowing her hair.
“Really? Did he do that?” Ezekiel grinned and laughed as if he couldn’t believe what she said.
“Yes.”
Samarra nodded, reflecting on what had happened earlier. Of course, she didn’t tell him about Zachary’s treatment of her.
“Perhaps he did something.”
“What?” She surprised Ezekiel because she couldn’t understand what he was saying.
“Oh well,” he explained.
“What do you mean?” she carved Ezekiel.
“Nothing.” He fixed his gaze on the driving car.
Samarra just remained there gazing at Ezekiel. She knew she’d get no response from him. When Ezekiel didn’t say anything, she already knew. Stop talking right now. She couldn’t make him speak any longer, no matter how hard she tried. She shifted her gaze to the side window of the car. She closed her eyes and leaned forward.
When she felt a faint tap on her cheek, Samarra had no idea how long she had been sleeping.
She muttered “Hmmph” and cocked her head.
“Get up! If you do not wake up, we will miss our flight.”
She frowned as she opened her eyes. She noticed Ezekiel standing in front of her. Her eyes widened when she saw Eros, her father’s private jet plane.
Samarra got out of the car slowly; she was surprised to see ten people bent over as soon as she got out.
“Good morning, Lady O’Harra!”
She had no idea what was happening and did not recognize the people before her. She feared looking at Ezekiel, who stood by her side.
“Who exactly are they?” Samarra spoke quietly to Ezekiel.
Ezekiel bowed slightly and pressed his lips against her ear.
“Your father’s men,” Ezekiel said quickly, leading her to the waiting private jet.
“Where are we going?” she asked, surprised because he had said they were going to the mall to buy school supplies and clothes for her.
But he didn’t say anything about contacting her father. Because she knows her Daddy Frost, he doesn’t just lend a private jet and hang out with other crew members.
Will she be deported to Australia?
“Miel,” Ezekiel said, surprised by her reaction.
“I don’t want to go back to Australia,” she said quickly to Ezekiel, who laughed.
“So… where are we going? We’re just going to the mall, you say?”
Ezekiel gave her a nod and led her to the jet plane.
“Yes, at Orchard,” he says.
Her eyes widened as she tightened her grip on Ezekiel’s arm.
“Do you mean Singapore?”
Ezekiel smiled at her and motioned for them to take the last seat on the plane. The rest of his father’s staff is seated in the front. Only about six of them had entered, leaving the others outside. Ezekiel stated that his father had a man who would meet them in Singapore.
If they take a regular plane to Singapore, the flight will take three and forty minutes because they use private jets. Samarra counted on her fingers the number of hours they would be in Singapore because she had promised Zachary that she would return home early today.
Ezekiel’s brow furrowed in surprise as he looked at her.
“I’m just thinking.”
Ezekiel took off his shades and stared at her, surprised.
“What are you thinking?”
“If only we could go for a stroll for a few hours.”
Ezekiel was shaken but smiled at her.
“We are not going to take a vacation and walk around there. We’ll buy what you’ll need for school. Another thing is that we have to wait because our flight back is at eight o’clock.”
Ezekiel’s words brought her relief. At least she didn’t have to explain why she had to leave early.
“OK,” she said, closing her eyes.
“Miel,” Ezekiel said softly.
“Hmmph,” she said without opening her eyes.
“I’m just thinking,”
She opened her eyes and turned to look intently at Ezekiel. Someone wanted to say something to him because his expression was so severe.
She sat up and waited for Ezekiel to tell her.
“We can stay here for at least two days. If you want?”
Ezekiel’s good advice to her. They will have a good time. After all, she only has two more days until school starts. But she had promised Zachary that she would return home early and didn’t want to break her promise.
The problem is that she never knows when she will be able to go for a stroll. She plans to return to Singapore and visit all of the tourist attractions.
“Maybe next time. I promised Cadden that I would return home early.”
Ezekiel nodded and stopped abruptly. So, she didn’t say anything else and just closed her eyes to conserve energy for her shopping later.
Ezekiel tapped her on the shoulder, and she awoke.
“Let’s go,” he said, helping her stand up.
They both exited the private jet at the same time. When Samarra and Ezekiel arrived, they were greeted by cars and more than ten people who appeared to be waiting for them.
“Hi! Lady Summer.”
Her eyes widened, and she couldn’t help but embrace the man who approached and greeted her.
“OMG! How are you doing, Jameson?” In shock, she inquired of Jameson Serrano.
The young man serves as her assistant and bodyguard. She never expected to see him in Singapore. She last saw him in Australia. He was in charge of her branch in Australia.
Jameson scratched his neck. This is property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
“Lady Summer, you are well-known wherever you go. I was there, observing from a distance.”
She only nodded. “Thank you,” she said.
Jameson gave Ezekiel a wry smile. “Sir,” he said as Ezekiel nodded.
They all hopped into a car at the same time. Others are following them.
“James, did you bring your laptop?” She requested that she begin booking online for the pick-up they would do when they arrived at Orchard.
She took out the laptop and handed him to her. She looked around for things she could buy and paid for them online. She almost bought clothes and shoes online. That’s why they only buy school supplies from bookstores.
When they arrived at the Orchard, they went through the ones she ordered online and picked them up.
