I Love You, Miss Genius

CHAPTER 317

CHAPTER 317

Bonnie raised her brows, saying, “No thanks. Last week, I visited the Antique Jade

Appreciation Conference in Jocrovania and appraised a couple of ice jadeites with floating flower patterns. They’re worth tens of millions.”

“What? That’s such a lousy bluff.” Jordynn did not believe Bonnie at all.

The latter lazily responded, “Feel free to send your men to Jocrovania to investigate. Hey, you can even ask people in the antique gemstone circle. They’ll tell you the truth.”

Jordynn glared at her but could not find even a hint of a lie. She criticized, “Hmph, what’s so special about that? You were just lucky!”

Bonnie added, “After that, I browned an antique show and spent a grand purchasing a bowl

made in Emperor Gearold Walshington’s Primordial Kiln.”

Jordynn’s jaw dropped, not knowing how to respond for a moment.

Suddenly, Bonnie laughed and said, “Bingo! You’re right that I got lucky. So, I don’t need Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.

your money.”

Jordynn lowered her head and looked at the cheque she held, saying, “You got rich

overnight, and that’s nothing worth boasting about. It’s just tens of millions of dollars. That

means nothing to truly wealthy people like me.”

Bonnie feigned surprise. “Oh, you don’t think tens of millions is worth much?”

“Of course not!” Jording raised her head high.

“Wow. Since that’s the case, I don’t want three million dollars. Instead, give me thirty billion, and I’ll promise to leave Ivor alone,” Bonnie said matter–of–factly.

Jordyn was so furious that she could breathe fire. “Thirty billion?! We’re not talking about Monopoly money, you know. Do you have that much money yourself? You must have a screw loose.”

Bonnie nodded solemnly. “It’s just thirty billion dollars. It means nothing to wealthy people like me.”

Jordynn knew Bonnie was using her own words against her. “Fine, let’s talk nice. What do I have to do to get you away from Ivor?”

Bonnie texted Ivor immediately, asking, “What do I have to do–to get you away from me?”

He repiled almost instantaneously, “Over my dead body.”

Then, Bonnie showed his reply to Jordynn and groaned, “You see. Not even I can do anything to get away from Ivor.”

The school bell rang at that moment, signifying the start of classes.

Classes are starting. You should probably return to your lecture hall,” Bonnie told Jordynn. However, she did not speak in an overly harsh and sarcastic tone. She felt Jordynn differed

from Halle and Rowena.

After all, Jordynn genuinely cared about Ivor and thought Bonnie would harm him. That

was why the former used unconventional means to get Bonnie away from Ivor.

Jordynn said through gritted teeth, “Damn you, Bonnie. I’ll figure out a way to get you to leave Ivor alone. I never quit, either. When I put my mind to something, I’ll finish it. I’ll keep

trying.”

Bonnie thought, ‘What a headache. Dealing with her will be tricky.”

Bonnie had a physical education class in the afternoon. So, Jordynn stole into Bonnie’s lecture hall and ruffled through her bag and seat. She wanted to find something to prove. Bonnie was after Ivor’s wealth.

However, Jordynn found nothing but snacks in Bonnie’s seat. It looked like the former had to go through Bonnie’s bag.

Zip!

Jordynn unzipped the bag and poured everything on the table, noticing a notebook and file.

‘I wonder what’s in this notebook. Is Bonnie looking at smut?”

Jordynn was stunned when she flipped through the book, muttering, “Is this a medical journal?”

‘I thought Bonnie was a computer science student. Why would she have a medical journal in her bag?”

After carefully reading the material, Jordynn realized its contents were obscure and convoluted. What surprised her most were the personal remarks and insights on every
