Chapter 227
“I know him because I used to come here often,” Bonnie replied truthfully.
“Are you that rich?”
“I’ll be honest. Someone else always footed the bill whenever I came. I never spent a dime myself.”
Daken and Avril did not think Bonnie was the type to mooch off others. Instead, they saw her as genuinely talented and willingly let others treat her. The waitstaff served the food as the trio
conversed.
“Wow, the dishes came so quickly! Whenever we came before, we’d have to wait for ages, especially for the Maine Lobster Thermidor the head chef makes. It’s usually hard to get a reservation for it. My
dad and I have never had a chance to taste it until now.”
Suddenly, Brittany’s irritating voice sounded, “Waiter, waiter! We arrived at the same time as them. Why did you serve their dishes first but not ours? We asked for the Maine Lobster Thermidor earlier, and you said we were too late to order it.
“The head chef only makes three Maine Lobster Thermidors daily. People reserved those three a week
ago,
correct?”
The waiter replied smilingly, “I didn’t lie to you, miss. Indeed, people have reserved those dishes a week ago.”
“Then how come they have it?” Brittany pointed at Bonnie’s table and yelled, “Don’t tell me they booked it a week ago! I refuse to believe it! We came to the hotel together just now, and only one private room remained.
“She could have gone ŝtraight in if she reserved it. There’s no need to reserve a room at the front desk, right?”
“Well, I—“The waiter looked embarrassed.
Brittany felt dissatisfied as she looked around. Many had arrived before them, yet some tables did not have a single dish. Some only had a few cold appetizers.
“Is this how you do things in such a prestigious hotel? Everyone arrived before Bonnie, so why did you serve them first? Did she bribe you or something? Since you refuse to answer, I must be right. I heard she often sells her body for benefits.”
The other diners looked at Bonnie disdainfully when they heard Brittany’s complaints.
“Damn it, Brittany! Why do you have such a foul mouth?! How dare you say something like that without proof! Apologize to Bonnie now, or I’ll call the cops on you!” Avril wanted to rip Brittany’s tongue off.
“Go ahead and call the cops if you dare.” Brittany stood up. “I’m not scared of you or the cops. Bonnie is shameless!”

“She could have gone straight in if she reserved it. There’s no need to reserve a room at the front desk, right?”
“Well, I—” The waiter looked embarrassed.

Boonie glared at Brittany saying “Don’t think you can trample on others just because you’re from a wealthy family.”
Brittany responded arrogantly, “I’ll crush you like an ant, and you can do nothing about it. You’re just a lowly country girl. I’m not afraid of you!” This belongs © NôvelDra/ma.Org.
Dermot and Na looked at Bowie as if they were superior to her.
Mearstile, Bonnie squinted and calmly said, “Your arrogance will be your family’s downfall.”
“Hahaha! That’s hilarious! Like you can decide our fate. Come on, I’m waiting to see when karma gets me.” Brittany laughed hysterically.
Then, Bonnie took her phone and made a call. “I no longer want to see the Dyngards in the city
starting tomoTION.”
“Oh my, she knows how to play make–believe! Is that the only way you can retaliate with your background and lack of status?”
“You’re a foul–mouthed birch, Brittany!” Avril would have run over and beat Brittany if Bonnie did not hold her back “Don’t stop me, Bonnie! Let me beat her up! I’ve had enough of her crap!”
