We went straight at our Mansion-like palace. But Aaron drop Andrea in a bus station. He is not in the mood and still angry with her. I understand what he’s going through.

Even me didn’t expected Andrea’s real attitude.

And the fact that I’m insecure with her before because I thought that she is a demure woman with class. 8 thought that she is perfect for Aaron and I’m nothing compared to her.

But that was all a thought from the past!

I decided to talk to Greg tonight. If I will go home tomorrow he will become more worried.

“Let me go with you.” Aaron suggested.

But I insist. I want to talk to him alone because he will be shock that I reconciled with Aaron.

“No Hubby. Let me go alone.” I answered smiling.

“Why?” He asked furrowing his brows.

And I know that he is jealous again!

“Hubby, I want to talk to him a little bit. And explain everything.” I said.

“What’s there to explain? I’am your husband no need to explain it to him!” Aaron raise his voice a little.

I hug and give him a smack on his lips.

“Don’t be jealous. Greg has been my close friend for months. And I want to bid a proper goodbye and explain to him everything about us hubby.” I answered.

And he smile again.

So, my kiss is like a medicine to ease Aaron’s anger!

“Okay, but I still don’t trust him!” Aaron is acting like a little boy while pouting his lips.

“How about this, you take me in there and pick me up later when I message you.” I think it’s much better.

“Okay, but be sure to send me a text wifey!” He sounds like threatening me but I know that it’s only a joke.

When I arrive at Greg’s condominium he is waiting at the gate. And Aaron doesn’t like it.

“He looks excited, don’t you think?” He asked furrowing his brows.

“I think not. I’ll go, then pick me up when I message you huh!” I said then kiss him gently.

I’m about to get off the car but he pulled me towards him.

“Not that quick wifey!” Then he kiss me again and we shared a passionate heated kiss that we almost lost our breath.

He don’t want to let me go. This naughty hubby of mine.

“I should go hubby. You take care! Be careful when driving.” I reminded him.

“Yes, wifey and you better go before I take you back home.” He answered smiling.

I give him a surprise kiss and I immediately get out of the car.

Greg is standing at the gate smiling widely at me.

Wondering what’s gotten into him that he is very happy.

“You’re finally here! Is the meeting goes well?” He asked smiling.

Meeting? I asked myself.

“Huh? What are you talking about?” I asked confused.

“Uh, Laine said that you had an urgent meeting yesterday outside the City.”. He explained.

So, My Secretary use this alibi. Well, my private life isn’t for public any way. Glad that she’s witty to create this story.

“Ah, yes. And it goes well for the upcoming fashion show.” I answered awkwardly.

“Let’s go. I will take you to a place.” He grab my hand and his car is waiting outside that I didn’t notice.

I need to pack up my things and told him that I’am leaving.

But let’s see where he will take me. Maybe we will be eating outside.

” Where are we going? Is there some good news that happened to you lately?” I asked smiling.

“Yes there is!” He answered happily.

“Wow, I’m excited to know what is it.” I answered sincerely.

I considered him as my best friend already. He is always there whenever I need someone to talk to and a shoulder to cry on.

We finally reached our destination to one of our Five-star Hotel!

But it is own by Aaron now when he bought our dying company from my Uncle Alberto.

And look at how it changed from being bankrupt to one of the most famous five-star hotel in the country!

The Villarreal Hotels and Restaurants come back to life and it’s all because of Aaron.

I’m just wondering why Greg bring me in here. Does he knows that it’s our Hotel?

“Let’s go, I prepared a delicious dinner for you.” He said excitedly.

We went inside and I’m proud of Aaron for giving glory in this hotel that my parents invested their effort and hardwork.

“Sure.” I answered happily.

It’s been awhile that I’ve tasted the food in our own Hotel.

When we entered, I’m much more shock and surprise!

The ambience is so relaxing and quiet with a soft piano music playing.

Everyone are happily eating and the satisfaction in their faces is visible that you can easily tell, they are enjoying the place!

Greg already reserved our seats. Good thing I decided to meet him tonight or else he will be disappointed in this moment of his life.

I’m glad that there’s something good happened to him.

“Waiter, please bring our food.”He said and the waiter immediately followed.

The foods are superb! We have steak and wine.

The meat is soft and tender and the wine taste good.

“So, what is this good news that you are happy about?” I asked smiling.

“You’re beautiful!” He answered instead.

And I laugh because I thought that he is only joking.

“Stop joking, I know that I’am beautiful Greg hehe.” I joke and he laugh with it.

“I’m not joking. You’re the Famous and the most Gorgeous woman that I’ve ever met.” He stop laughing and look at me sincerely.

Just what is happening in here? I can sense the romantic ambience!

“Well, thank you for that. Really!” I answered awkwardly.

Now, I felt awkward the way Greg is looking at me! Why the sudden change of attitude?

He looks like a man in love!

But to whom?

Don’t tell me…

But no, He cannot! I already make it clear to him that he is my Best friend, my closest friend to be exact as I got no one. I can sense that he is planning something tonight.

Just how naive I’am that I didn’t notice it immediately.

He can’t do that! I don’t want to lose our friendship.

“Let’s continue to eat and I will tell you later.” He said.

That’s good thing then. I’m still have time to breath!

We continued to eat our delicious steak and drink the tasteful wine. I can’t believe that I could finish all of my food in one go!

The two are a perfect combination. I can say that our Hotels and Restaurants got the best food of all time!

And I’m proud with it.

Hopefully that my parents are happy right now. Even though that we are not the owner of this Hotel anymore. I just wish that they are still happy that the Hotel survived from being bankrupt.

Thinking about this. Uncle Alberto and Nica’s face suddenly pop out in my mind.

I decided to closed the case in the end. I decided to forgive her and hopefully she will not bother me again and will start a new life with a clean mind and heart.

I didn’t notice that the waiter put our dessert in the table. I was drown, thinking the past.

I can smell the sweet aroma of the strawberry cake.

It looks yummy and delicious. This is one of my favorites too.

But what’s bothered me is the thing that is shining brightly in the middle of the cake. It’s a diamond ring!

I’m speechless and don’t know what to do!

Why?

The music was change into a romantic love song. And I look at Greg with a questioning look.

He only smile at me.

” I know that you are shock and surprise. But lately, I’ve been restless thinking about you. I can’t get you out of my mind. I don’t want you to cry anymore Nalzen. I want to take care of you for the rest of my life. I want to protect you from harm and danger. I want to be with you but not as a friend anymore. Lately, I realized that I can’t be your friend! I want to express this feeling of mind before I become crazy from holding it in. I don’t want to hide my feelings anymore! Ms. Nalzen Villarreal, can you be my girlfriend?” Greg kneel down in front of me holding the ring from the strawberry cake.

What is this? I don’t want to ruin our friendship.

It’s now or never! I need to hurt him, He already knew that I will love Aaron in this lifetime. And we are still married!

Why did he continue to court?

I think I will be losing another friend again!

The people around are cheering us as well as the waiter and the crews.

It will be humiliating if I will decline his offer. But I didn’t love him at all!

“Greg, I’m sorry. I’m here because I suppose to talk to you. I will be leaving your condo.” I answered seriously.

The crowd keeps quite and I can hear Greg’s heavy breathing.

“Look, I don’t know that this will become the outcome. I’m sorry Greg, I thought that you have a good news but I don’t know that you will propose. If I knew, I will not come with you in here. I’m sorr-” I didn’t able to continue what I’m saying because Greg stand up and cut me off.

“It’s okay! You don’t have to explain. I already knew that you don’t love me but I’m going crazy if I will not release this feeling of mine. I love you Nalzen Villarreal!” He shouted.

Greg looks sincere and true to his feelings. But what I can do? My heart only belongs to Aaron!

Maybe if it’s another girl sitting in front of him will surely say yes and accepted his proposal but not me!

Aaron is my life and home. I will be nothing without him.

I will die without him!

“Awe!” The crowd said in frustrations. I guess, they only think if what I’am looking for a man? Greg is almost perfect for their eyes. He’s handsome and rich, yes!

But my heart only belongs to Aaron.

“I’m sorry Greg. Aaron and I reconciled and I’m coming back home.” I said without smiling.

“What?” He asked surprise and a little bit angry.

“You heard it right. I came to pack my things and bid my goodbye to you personally. You are my best friend Greg, I don’t want to lose this friendship!” I said sincerely.

But he gets angry out of a sudden!

“Why him? It’s always him! He hurts you a thousand times but you still love him?” He asked angrily.

I look at the crowd and all of them are looking at us now.

Just what the!

Can they mind their own business, for goodness sake!

“I think we should go back at your condo Greg and continue to talk in there.” I suggested seriously.

I don’t want the whole world to listen at our conversation!

“No, I want to talk to you right now! Why? Just leave him!” He shouted.

How could I leave him if we just reconciled?

I love him so much and I cannot leave Aaron.

That will never happen again!

“It’s just simple Greg, I love him. And we are still married! I will never leave him again.” I answered. I don’t care those people at all!

They can listen all they want.

“Then, you’re an idiot! He hurt you and you still love him!” Greg said angrily.

And my blood boils when he call me idiot!

But before I could answer, Aaron suddenly pop out from nowhere and punch Greg straight in his face!

“You are the idiot! Stop pestering my wife!” Aaron shouted angrily.

And pulled me away while the people is still murmuring with each other.

“What are you whispering! Get out! All of you! And asked for your repayment. I will gladly compensate and return your deposits!” Aaron angrily shouted.

I hold his hand and hug him.

“Stop it hubby. I’m happy to know that you take good care of our Hotel. Thank you for that!” I said to calm him.

But he is still angry! He let go of my embrace and face all the staff, crew and waiters.

“Where is your manager? Call him, now!” He said angrily.

Greg is just sitting at our table looking at me intensely. I guess he got drunk from drinking too much wine. He keeps on drinking. I guess, just to give him courage in proposing to me.

The manager went out and was very shock seeing Aaron’s angry face.

“M-Mr. M-Montgomery! It’s a pleasure to have you here.” He said stuttering.

“Pleasure my foot! Don’t you remember my wife’s face? Next time, teach your staff properly. This is a warning! Or all of you will be resigning soon.” He threaten them.

“I’m sorry sir, It will never happen again.” He bow down his head and signal his hand and all the staffs and crews bow down as well.

Then he pulled me again and we leave the place without talking…
