His Destructive, Toxic Love

Chapter 287

"If you haven't eaten, just ask Dillon to order something for you. I'm no chef," Eliza said, her tone and expression as chilly as a winter's day.

Casper reached over and grabbed her half-eaten takeout box. "Let me have a bite of your meal."

Her takeout box had both veggies and meat, but it looked pretty unappetizing. Casper wasn't used to leftovers. If he didn't like the food, he'd definitely take it out on her.

Eliza snatched her takeout back and tossed it straight into the trash. "Better let Dillon order you a fresh one."

Casper pouted, "Forget it. I'd rather starve."NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.

Dillon secretly chuckled. Casper was really being difficult.

"Ms. Valerie, Mr. Casper's been running a fever all day. It's rare for him to have an appetite, and you... why did you throw it away?"

"An appetite for leftovers?" Eliza mocked with a slight curl of her lip. "How unique."

Casper felt hurt. Was she really mocking him so blatantly?

Dillon was utterly amused by the scene. She was getting bolder.

Eliza didn't respond to Casper and walked back to her office.

Inside, there was a small rest area where she liked to nap, giving her tired body and mind a moment of peace.

Just as she stepped into the rest area, Casper followed like a gust of wind, forcefully invading her personal space. His movements were quick and domineering. Before Eliza could react, his kiss descended on her like a storm, enveloping her in a deep and intense atmosphere.

The kiss was forceful as if he intended to devour her entirely. The ferocity of it, combined with his already elevated body temperature, made him burn even more intensely.

"Casper, you..." Eliza tried to push him away, but his body was too heavy for her to muster any strength.

At that moment, she felt like a butterfly caught in a web, unable to struggle, and only able to be swept away by the stormy kiss.

He held her tightly as if about to merge her into his soul. Their breathing became rapid, filled with an indescribable longing.

"I'm hungry." His low voice carried an irresistible charm.

She pushed him away, trying to maintain some distance, "If you're hungry, go have something to eat."

"I have you."

He firmly held the back of her head and kissed her dominantly, the embrace filled with longing.

Eliza detested this aggressive and domineering behavior. She decisively lifted her leg and

Casper's expression twisted in pain, and he groaned, "Eliza, do you really want to hurt me so much?"

Her lips pursed slightly, her face showing a hint of wariness as she carefully adjusted her clothes, her tone carrying a bit of helplessness. "I've already told you, I'm on my period right now, but you insisted."

"I was just kissing you. Is that too much?" He winced from the pain.

She knew she couldn't always avoid intimate contact with Casper. Her body instinctively rejected him, an undeniable fact.

She rushed out of the rest area and called for Dillon, "Mr. Casper is hurt. You better take him to the hospital."

Dillon was confused. He eyed Eliza with slightly disheveled hair, his expression complex and uncertain.
