Chapter 922 Not Known to the Third Person
Chapter 922 Not Known to the Third Person
Kevin found a random excuse to put it off.
He was thinking that if Winnie was not biological, then their parents might have treated the two children
differently.
"What is wrong? Did something happen to her?"
Despite the explanation given by Kevin, Daenerys still felt that something wasn't right.
"No, nothing's happened, I just think she's been depressed and sullen, probably because she misses
her parents too much."
Kevin had to find excuses to cover up in order to remove Daenerys's suspicions.
"You exhausted your brain last night, Winwin never used to be depressed, that is, she was positive and
optimistic when she was desperately trying to earn money to help her parents pay off their debts."
"Her current depression comes from Brian, okay? It is such a simple truth and you're still asking it, are
you excusing Brian?"
Daenerys still felt that Kevin wasn't right, either his head was broken or he was trying to spy something
for Brian.
"What am I excusing him for, just a casual question."
"I also have to ask if Vanessa's relationship with her parents is good, and Vanessa being depressed
wouldn't have anything to do with Brian."
Kevin asked another question. And Daenerys answered.
"Vanessa has a good relationship with her parents too, but Vanessa isn't depressed."
"Vanessa is coming out of depression ......"
"Yes, you're right, it's because Vanessa walked out that she's not depressed. Isn't it bad timing for you
to care about her previous depression now?"
Daenerys became more and more suspicious of Kevin's ulterior motives.
"Go ahead, what do you want to know about Winwin from me? Put it another way, what did Brian ask
you to inquire about?"
Not used to beating around the bush, Daenerys asked it directly.
"No, you really misunderstood. Brian didn't ask me anything, I want to know something."
Kevin also saw clearly that he wasn't capable of extracting any useful information from Daenerys. She
wouldn't have answered if he hadn't been more direct.
"What do you want to know?"
Daenerys didn't expect Kevin to concede so quickly, thinking that he would have to hold on for a while
before revealing his true purpose.
"Things, I guess ...... it is a bit complicated ...... but...... how to say it ...... "
Obviously Kevin didn't know how to speak.
"Come on, whatever it is, say it."
Daenerys prodded, Kevin had never stuttered like this when talking to her. His attitude like this made
Daenerys nervous, she would think things were serious.
"Okay, listen carefully."
"I now suspect that Winwin and Vanessa are not real sisters. It's possible they're half-sisters, and it's
possible they're not related."
Kevin said this with courage, but to his surprise, Daenerys laughed out loud, as if she had heard a big
joke.
"Hahahahaha ...... Kevin, when did you learn to make jokes like that? Winwin would get a belly ache
from laughing when she hears it."
"I'm not joking, okay, I'm serious. Does your husband look like someone who makes casual jokes about
such private matters?"
Kevin was displeased that such a serious matter had become a joke.
"You're serious, are you sure? Then how can you say that Winwin and Vanessa aren't real sisters."
Daenerys was still laughing, but considering Kevin's feelings, she tempered it somewhat.
"They don't have the same blood type, and according to my doctor's specialty, there's no way the two Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.
of them are even close sisters."
Kevin raised his volume, in order to make his words more convincing.
"What do you mean, are they very different blood types?"
Daenerys suddenly stopped smiling, because Kevin wouldn't talk nonsense about medical
professional.
"Yes......"
Only then did Kevin tell the story of his discovery.
"Oh my God, how is this possible? My head is going to explode, how can this be possible?"
Daenerys couldn't accept that, although it wasn't finalized, it was already a fact from the blood type
analysis.
"Winwin was already ill-fated, if this is the truth, she won't be able to live."
Daenerys' heart ached at what she said and couldn't help but cry for Winnie's sake.
"Don't you worry yet, it's not like I'm not finalizing this, so I'm asking you for some things."
Kevin walked to Daenerys' side and comforted her, he understood the kind of feelings Daenerys had
for Winnie.
Winnie hurt, she hurt too, Winnie cried, she might be sadder than Winnie. With such feelings, she must
not be able to accept such a fact.
"And what's the point of asking? There is no medical proof."
"Kevin, this matter is known to you and me, and no third person must know about it, and Winwin must
not be told."
Daenerys dictated that she wanted the news to be blocked.
"We're not even sure about it yet now, so don't be so anxious."
Kevin just wanted to know the truth, but he wasn't sure who knew the truth.
"I think Winwin is biological because she looks like her dad and her aunt. Vanessa must have been
adopted."
Daenerys gave this answer without even thinking about it.
"Why do you say that? Vanessa probably looks like her mom."
Kevin disagreed with such an arbitrary answer; it was most irresponsible to conclude blood relations
based on a person's looks.
" I've seen before their mother, and Vanessa doesn't look like her mother either."
"And Winnie told me that she met Vanessa when she was eight years old. By that time she could
already remember, and Vanessa just came out of nowhere, she had no memory of her mother being
pregnant. She got a sister one day when she was back come from"
This was something Daenerys had heard about a long time ago, probably from a casual conversation
with Winnie in middle school.
But Winnie didn't even question it, all said it was her own sister, she naturally wouldn't think otherwise.
After so many years of not bringing it up, she would have even forgotten about it if Kevin hadn't
mentioned it.
"Is that really the case? If what Winwin said is true, then Vanessa ......"
"Oh my God, Winwin knew about this and didn't say anything?"
Kevin was surprised about it.
"I don't know, she just casually said she didn't suspect anything. All those years they supported each
other and never thought that they were not sisters."
"So let's stop, it's a hard blow to both Vanessa and Winnie."
Daenerys worriedly reminded again. They were already tormented by fate, and neither of them would
stand it if they knew they weren't each other's closest families.
"Ok, and I won't keep investigating."
"...... They already have a hard time, how come this happened?"
It was inevitable for Kevin to lament about why misfortune had to happen to one person. The family
was already in tatters, so why made it even harder for them?
Winnie's mood was much better after she knew she made that much money, but still she needed to
work hard.
As soon as she got up from work, she forgot about dinner time, and by the time she realized she was
hungry it was past dinner time.
Going to look in the fridge for something to eat, but there didn't seem to be anything in the fridge to suit
her appetite. Just as she was about to close the fridge door, she heard the sound of the door being
unlocked.
She thought it was Vanessa who had returned, but she didn't expect it to be Brian with his two children.
"Mom, we're home."
Megan greeted her mother happily.
"Why didn’t you tell me in advance you are coming home? If I am not here, you can’t see me."
Winnie walked up to the children.
"We want to surprise you, Mom, why don't you close the fridge door?"
Megan looked at the empty fridge and knew her mother was looking for something to eat.
"I forgot to eat and was looking for some milk."
"It just so happens that we haven't eaten either, so let's go out for a barbecue."
"I know of a new Northeast barbecue that's good. I'll reserve my spot now."
Brian spoke.
After she left, he realized that nothing mattered, just keeping her around was what he should do.
"I have work to do, you take the kids and eat."
Winnie didn't want to go out. Being annoyed, being ignored, and now going out to dinner together like
nothing had happened.
She couldn't understand the pattern of getting along like that, couldn't understand how she could eat
properly with something going on.
"Mom, come with us. How exhausting it is to have to work on the weekends. Do you know why we
have weekends?"
Luke pleaded, guessing what his dad had in mind because they had already eaten dinner and in a
meal that would be a late night snack.
"Why?"
Winnie replied, not wanting her kids to be upset.
"Weekend time is for parents to spend with their kids, you haven't been with us all day, it's time to drop
work and spend time with us."
Luke gave a very cute and reasonable explanation, the weekend was for the family to rest and
entertain to improve their relationship. If it was the other way, then what was the point of having a
weekend?
Winnie did not know how to refuse. She did want to spend more time with her children as she didn't
know when she would choose to leave.
She had thought that she would leave with the kids, but now she thought it was better to leave the kids
with Brian.
She could not give her children a secure home, nor would she fix a home anywhere in the future, only
likely to wander around.
"Okay, I will go with you."
Winnie went back to close the refrigerator, then went to her room and changed her clothes, before the
four of them went out together.
The barbecue restaurant was packed, and luckily Brian had reserved a table in advance.
This barbecue restaurant was different from the roadside stall that Winnie often went to, this one was
definitely classy enough, and the taste of the barbecue was authentic northeastern taste.
"Do you guys think it's good?"
Winnie asked the two children who were eating
"Yummy, I think any food is good as long as I have it with Mom and Dad."
Megan replied sweetly, and in short, the words she uttered were sweet to the heart.
"I think it's delicious, too."
