I slowly lifted my eyelids as I turned to the other side of the bed, hoping to be satisfied with the warmth of my mates, but on each side I turned, I found the bed space empty.

I jumped up from the bed, wondering where they might have gone so early in the morning.

I was still thinking when my eyes caught an envelope on the nightstand with my name on it, my heart raced immediately when I saw it, as I wondered if this was another attack from Noah.

I dragged my feet closer to the stand, leaning in to scrutinize the envelope first, I wanted to be sure that I wasn’t in danger, and this envelope wasn’t another attack on me. With my shaky hands, I picked it up from the stand and wondered if I should open it or go to my mates before opening it.

What if it was an attack just like I thought, what if it was a letter bomb, I didn’t want to put my mate’s life in danger all over again, so I decided to check it out by myself and deal with whatever happened afterward.

I opened it slowly and my heart almost stopped beating when something fell from the envelope. I picked it up to see that it was a ticket, which took me back to the envelope and I read the letter inside of it, which was addressed to me.

Get ready, we are taking you for a weekend getaway on Banana Island.

My mouth dropped wide open with surprise, I couldn’t believe it. My mates had planned a trip for us to my favorite place in the world, it was an all-weekend getaway on an island I had always wanted to visit as a kid, I couldn’t believe that they were going to make that wish of mine come through.

My heart pounded with excitement, I had always wanted to visit an island. it was one of the best moments of my life and I just couldn’t wait to get the fun started.

I was stunned as I kept staring at my ticket and wondered how sweet of them to have planned this surprise trip.

I was so engrossed that I didn’t even hear my mates casually walk into the room.

“Hey, you are awake?” Zane said with a warm smile.

“Yeah, good morning,” I replied with a broad smile.

“Good morning, Ethan replied. “Are you excited about the trip,” he asked.

“Of course, you know I have always wanted to visit an island,” I replied chuckling.

“You have just about an hour to bag your things, we will be outside waiting for you,” Ethan said as he made his way out of the room, closely followed by Zane.

I will stay here and keep her company,” Calix said to his brothers. His voice halted their movement as they turned back to look at him.

“I promise I won’t do anything you guys don’t approve of, I only want to make sure that she gets someone to help massage cream evenly on her back,” he added with an evil smirk.

“You son of a biscuit, better get your a*s right here now,” Zane scolded him and he starts chuckling as he joined his brothers.

Within seconds they were all out of the door. I immediately dropped the envelope and rushed into the bathroom, humming a joyful song as I took my bath, I was excited for the trip ahead.

A few moments later, I was out of the room with my bag, fully dressed in a simple long dress and a beach hat, we were going to the island.

Zane rushed to me and took my bag from me as I joined them at the car, “are you ready?” He asked.

I nodded in response, I was born ready for this trip, “I am!”

I responded.

Mia hugged me with a big smile on her face, she knew I had always wanted to visit this island as a kid and I couldn’t help but believe that she was the brain behind the whole plan.

She pulled back and held my hand, “I wish I could go on a trip like this, I am jealous of you, Jasmine. You all are leaving, and now I’ll be here all alone.” She murmured, causing us all to laugh.

Calix grabbed Mia’s hand, pulling Mia closer to himself.

“you should stop being jealous little sister, you should be finding your mate or mates, Mia.” He said teasingly to her.

“Stop calling me little sister,” she said, pulling out of his hold.

“But I am a minute older than you,” Calix said

“It’s fifty-eight seconds,” retorted Nala.

“Still, I am your big brother,” Calix said with a chuckle.

“Stop it,” I scolded Calix as I walked over to where Mia stood.

“Are you going to be alright by yourself, you could come with us you know,” I said calmly to Mia.

“And what will I be doing when you guys are having all the fun,” asked Mia.

“You could be crushing on the waiter,” Zane joked.

“I hate you,” she said to Zane before returning her attention to me. You have fun and I will be here to hear all about it when you return,” Mia said with a smile.

“Let’s start going guys,” Ethan said as he settled into the driver’s seat.

“It’s just a few day’s trips and we will be back, you do not have to miss us too much,” Calix said to Mia as he opened the car door for me. I

“I will miss you,” I said hugging Mia tight before getting into the car.

We all got into the car and waved Mia goodbye before zooming off.

My heart kept thumping with excitement throughout the drive, I couldn’t wait for us to get to the island, it had always been one of my wishes to go there.

After driving for hours, we finally arrived at the seaport where we boarded a private boat that flew us over the vast ocean.

We got to the island, my mouth dropped at the beauty of the place, and the rhythmic sound of the ocean echoed in my ears, it was like I was in a different place entirely, above the earth.

My mates led me into the resort on the island, where we’d check in. We got to the receptionist stand and I began to look around, my eyes gazing through every corner of the hallway, taking in the beauty of the place.

I was still so lost in thought when a voice jerked me back, “You three are so handsome, and a woman who has you is lucky.”

I turned to see that it was the receptionist, a seductive smile on her face, I felt irritated almost immediately. What was she up to? Why she was flirting with my mates? I wished I could tell her to shut it and they were mine and mine alone.

“I wish I was as lucky as the woman that has you.” The receptionist went on, giving me a nasty look secretly.

My b***d rustled with anger, I turned to my mates and they were only laughing over their noses, blushing at the words she was uttering, it only fueled my anger more.

I turned to her, “Can you just give us the key so we can check in?” I requested.

She nodded and picked up the key from the stand, I didn’t let her turn to me before grabbing the key from her hand.

I didn’t know why they couldn’t tell the receptionist to stop flirting with them and that they were mine, I didn’t know why they didn’t tell her that which gave her more right to keep on muttering those disgusting words.

I got to the door and opened it, only with my jaw to drop for the umpteenth the in the day, the sight I was met with was unexpected.

It was a dinner setting with the dim light on the sides and solemn music playing underneath. My heart began to race with excitement again, I didn’t imagine that a day like this would come, it was such a romantic setting.

I wondered how long they were able to plan this and that was when I realized that the flirting of the receptionist could have been a part of the plan. It could have been done to waste time or to make me react that way.

I chuckled as I felt a hand wrap around my waist, I knew it was one of my mates.

“Do you like it?” Zane asked.

I nodded, “I love it.” Turning back for him.

“We decided to have this dinner together this evening and we can go out to have more fun tomorrow morning as we’re all tired for now.” Zane stated, “I am sure you are tired from the trip already, so it’ll be better to just take dinner and rest.”

I nodded at him, buying the idea. “Yes, that is right,” I responded.

“For now, let’s have our meal,” Calix said and led us to the dining area where we took our seats and dug into the food.

I chomped down the food, savoring the sweetness, coupled with the excitement of being alone with my mates on this beautiful island.

I knew this was going to be an adventure to remember!
