Flash Marriage Makes A Perfect Match

Chapter 263: I Believe You for the Last Time

Just as he reached the bathroom door, his phone rang.

Allyce was startled and had to reach for her phone again.

There was no note on the caller ID, but the number was familiar.

It was Enzo’s phone.

Allyce didn’t even think about it, so she hung up.

The last time he met Enzo in Kimdis, he remembered exactly what he had told him.

He was a psychopath.

He had just hung up the call when he received a text message.

Allyce unconsciously clicked on it and suddenly her eyes widened as she saw what the text said.

“If you want to know where your father is, come and see me right now, I’m at the end of the corridor of your flat.

Dad …

How did Enzo know about his father?

Allyce’s long-held desire to find her father kept her from thinking about it.

He grabbed his phone and ran out.

When he reached the flat, he saw a familiar Rolls Royce.

“Enzo!”

Allyce rushed to the car, banging on the window and calling Enzo’s name.

The next moment, Enzo opened the door and went out.

His suit still looked a little dishevelled and his face looked haggard.

Seeing Enzo like this, Allyce frowned slightly and asked him directly: “Do you know where my father is?

“Have you had dinner yet?” Enzo did not answer her question directly.

Allyce made a slight grimace: “Answer my question first”.

Enzo laughed at this and slowly approached, Allyce took a step back, distancing herself from him with a look of distaste.

Enzo laughed meaningfully and came clean: “It seems like you really hate me”.

“Are you lying to me?” Allyce looked at Enzo with cold eyes, his eyes getting colder and colder.

“I have not lied to you. A mist spread under Enzo’s eyes, and his eyes abruptly became incredibly sharp.

Allyce’s heart fluttered and she turned to leave, but Enzo was quick to pull her back.

Enzo looked at her with a sullen face and said with a stern expression, “Not only do I know about your father, I also know that your father was framed, don’t you want to know who really framed him?”

Allyce turned her head to look at him, surprise in her eyes: “What did you say?

Enzo released her, a look of success crossing his face as he blurted out the words “get in the car” and turned to walk in the opposite direction, straight towards the car.

Allyce pursed her lips and hesitated only two seconds before opening the door and getting into the car.

Enzo took her to a romantic restaurant.

“Can you tell me now?” Allyce sat across from Enzo, watching him slowly and methodically flip through the menu with a vague sense of anxiety.

“Eat first.

Enzo handed him the menu.

Allyce didn’t accept it, so Enzo had to return it and order some plates for himself.

When the food arrived, Enzo smiled slightly and spoke, “I’ve ordered a few random dishes, I don’t know if you like them …”

“I don’t like any of them.

The dishes in the restaurant, all nice in style, but with a lot of ingredients, Allyce’s sense of smell was very good lately, and the smell of them turned her stomach a little.

Enzo’s face paled and he quickly regained his expression, a taciturn look on his face: “Then change to something else”.

Allyce knew now that Enzo thought she wanted to hear from him so badly that he was dragging her along.

Not coincidentally, he had guessed, and she really wanted to know, specifically.

Enzo was dragging her along, and Allyce had no choice but to spend time with him.

Time passed, and finally lasted until dinner was over.

“Let’s go.”

“Where to?” Allyce looked at Enzo suspiciously.

Enzo’s face was smiling and his voice soft: “To take you to see your dad”.

Seeing Allyce’s silence, Enzo asked: “Can’t you trust me?

Allyce remained silent, silently telling him that she could not trust him.

Enzo’s face changed slightly and the smile on his face showed signs of freezing as he let out a small sigh and said, “Allyce, we’ve known each other since we were kids, we used to be very close … how did it come to this?”

The loss in Enzo’s tone moved Allyce a little.

They had known each other for more than ten years and were familiar with each other, even if they turned against each other, it was impossible to erase the bond they once had.

Allyce looked up at Enzo, his eyes clear: “I believe you for the last time. This is property © of NôvelDrama.Org.

She gave the friendship between her and Enzo of the last ten years a chance and believed in Enzo for the last time.

Enzo’s gaze changed several times, and a struggle flashed in his eyes before it was replaced by determination: “OK”.

The two left the restaurant and headed straight for the car.

When they got to the car, Allyce was feeling a little congested. Enzo could see that Allyce was having a hard time and handed her an unopened bottle of water in the nick of time.

“Thank you.

Allyce hadn’t eaten anything at that point, so she took the water and took two sips.

She squeezed the cap of the bottle and noticed Enzo looking at her.

There was something strange in his eyes.

Allyce realised what was happening and shouted at him: “Stop the car!

Unexpectedly, Enzo stopped the car.

But Allyce’s consciousness became a blur.

Enzo did not stop him from reaching the door, but he had no strength left to open it when he touched the knob.

He turned his head to look at Enzo, a gleam of resignation crossing his eyes: “Cheat … sub …”

Enzo’s pupils closed, his grip on the steering wheel slowly tightened, his voice calm and unusual: “Don’t bother, sleep well”.

“You …” Allyce was about to say something else when sleep took over, her consciousness became blurred and she lost consciousness as she tilted her head to one side.

Enzo saw that she had actually “fallen asleep” and bent down to keep her upright, then took off his jacket and covered her up before taking out his phone to make a call.

He dialled an undialled number and the phone was slow to ring.

The person on the other end of the phone was obviously using a voice changer and had a very strange voice that made it impossible to distinguish between a man and a woman.

“How did it go?”

Enzo turned his head to look at Allyce, who was sleeping peacefully with her eyes closed, her face was complicated and there was a chill in her voice, “Are you sure you won’t arouse Severo’s suspicions any time soon?”

The person on the other end of the line seemed to scoff: “Of course, just tell me if you’ve taken Allyce now”.

Enzo replied mockingly: “Of course”.

The man laughed, his voice becoming unsettling, “Would Allyce really trust you? It doesn’t get any better than that, how stupid.”

At these words, Enzo felt as if he had been stabbed in the heart and hung up the phone with a grimace.

He turned his head to Allyce, his heart thudding at the thought of her clear statement that she believed him for the last time.

But then he thought of Severo.

He hated Severo, so he reasserted himself anyway.
