Chapter 229: Blindness is a Disease
Severo snorted and looked back at Enzo, “You don’t have to provoke me, it won’t do you any good.
With that, he took a big step towards the door.
Enzo laughed and said, “Do I have to? Do you know how many years she’s liked me? As he snorted, Severo had opened the door to the living room.
Allyce had jumped earlier, but she knew she couldn’t run, so she just leaned against the wall by the door and waited for Severo.
As a result, when the door to the room opened, he heard Enzo’s words before he could feel the anger coming from Severo.
Why don’t you go and do a play, sir?
And why this superiority that comes out of your words?
Allyce mentally scoffed, intelligence really is contagious, isn’t it?
He passed Severo and rushed into the room: “What did you say? I didn’t hear you, please repeat it”.
Enzo’s face shone with surprise when he saw Allyce suddenly appear in the room, and he even stammered.
“Allyce, what are you doing here?”
Enzo’s face changed slightly and a flash of weakness shone under his eyes.
Allyce looked at Enzo as cold as ice, the frost frozen in his beautiful peach blossom eyes.
“I’m really sorry if I’ve let you misunderstand me so far because I’ve been blind to you, but …”
Allyce stood on guard, she had just come running in to theorise and hadn’t noticed Severo’s expression.
It must have been … angry, wasn’t it?
Allyce shuddered at the thought.
But the look on Enzo’s face remained cold as she continued: “I’m not blind anymore, blindness is a disease, I’m cured, don’t worry, there’s no way I’ll think of you again in the future, and I hope you won’t misunderstand me again.
Allyce finished with a quiet mental sigh of relief – she felt she must have acted faithfully!
“Pull yourself together, there are pets in the house, we have to go back first”.
After returning from a previous night at the Delahoz, Beef had not only trashed the house, but had defecated everywhere! It was unbearable!
So she has been teaching him to use the toilet for a few days and has to keep an eye on him at all times.
The main reason remains that he does not want to stay here.
She thought she liked an elegant gentleman, but in reality he was a nasty little man, and that was a terrible thing.
“But you can’t deny that you liked it!” Enzo gritted his teeth angrily.
Allyce had said that in front of Severo and it was a slap in the face.
At that, a smile came to Allyce’s face.
The bright smile was mixed with a touch of coldness. “I won’t deny that, after all, when I was a child I went so far as to say I would marry my father when I grew up, they were just childish words, only now we are all adults, you can eat your food, but don’t talk nonsense.”
Allyce lifted her chin slightly, detachment written all over her pretty face.
Enzo’s eyes suddenly fell silent, like a bonfire that burns and leaves nothing but lifeless ashes.
Allyce’s brow furrowed slightly at the sight, but she just averted her gaze and turned away.
Enzo was right.
She had liked it as a child, she had liked it for many years.
But now I had forgotten.
A man who despised her father, who despised her, who tried to impose himself on her and show his superiority in front of everyone else, could not like her more.
And how could Casimiro be any different.
As a child, I had expectations for both Senona and Casimiro.
But that expectation, in all those years of disappointment, had long since disappeared, and now, however much they had passed, he didn’t feel bad about it.
Well, neither did Enzo.
Severo came out with the door hidden behind him after she had entered.
Allyce came out, closed the door with the backhand, looked at Severo and said: “Let’s go …”.
Severo heard the trepidation in her voice and reached out and pressed his arm against the back of her neck, tucking Allyce in with a gentle push.
Severus took the hand that was pressed against the nape of her neck and ran it down the length of her hair to the tailbone of her body, grabbing her waist and walking towards the lift.
His steps were large but slow, seeming to match Allyce’s.
Allyce turned her head and saw that she had little expression on her face and couldn’t work out what she was thinking.
…
The two left the hospital and met Senona, who was walking towards them.
Senona was wearing a pink coat, but due to her thinness, she could not wear it even though it was a great design.
Senona also saw the two people walking towards her, together.
His face changed and he quickened his steps towards them, his heels clicking on the ground.
“What are you doing here?”
He asked Allyce and Severo in a shrill voice, alarm written in his eyes.
“This is a hospital, not your house, why can’t we come? Allyce looked up at her and tugged at the corners of her lips, looking down at her with a smirk.
Senona snorted coldly: “You’d better stop thinking you’re doing anything!
He raised his head with a condescending look, as if he had already trampled them underfoot.
A glint of reflection appeared in Allyce’s eyes.
Senona had that smug look on her face, presumably because Casimiro had not told her what had happened yesterday.
In fact, she knew that what Severo had done that day had already aroused Casimiro’s suspicions. Although Severo’s identity had been kept secret, she thought that if Casimiro intended to find out, it would not be difficult.
Even if he didn’t find out, with Casimiro’s perspicacity, he would have guessed something.
“We have never been presumptuous, and I hope you will be too”.
“Hmph!”
Senona scoffed, looking at Allyce and Severo as if they were watching something dirty, with disgust and contempt at the same time.
“You’d better hurry up and see Enzo, if you’re late …”
Allyce was interrupted as she spoke.Owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
Senona’s face went white and she only had time to shoot him a fierce glare before quickly running to the lift with the words “If anything happens to him, I’m not finished with you”.
When the lift didn’t go down, he went around to the other side and took the stairs.
Allyce looked at the scene and was slightly surprised.
Lucila was right, Senona had deep feelings for Enzo.
Otherwise, she would not have become so tense just because of his casual and specious remark.
There was another reason why people like Senona had always speculated about others with the utmost malice.
…
Senona climbed ten floors in a row and was half-exhausted by the time she reached Enzo’s room.
On weak legs, he prepared to walk to the hospital bed and it took him a while to utter a complete sentence: “Are you OK?
