First Love

Chapter 23

Lily’s POV

“You’re not leaving me Lily. Now you’re fucking mine.”

I blinked trying to process his words. What does he mean by saying that I am his? And why should I not leave him? Off course I will do. He can’t keep me here forever.

“But you said that I should think about pursuing my career as a singer, didn’t you?” I tried to get some courage out of me.

He exhaled and then pulled himself away from me. “But you can stay here with me and pursue that.”

I frowned. “But Adrain, I want to leave.”

“You’re not going anywhere. Say that once more and I’ll not think twice before killing one of your brother.” He deadpanned.

I nodded my head. “Okay.”

“Don’t fucking frown Infront of me. I don’t like it.” He said in irritation.

Then how else am I supposed to act, Adrain? You tell me. I feel suffocated here. You tortured me enough to believe that you’re no good. You’re the monster no matter how much you smile.

I remember fearing you since the moment I met you. You were always this nightmare who came into my life and made me sick to my stomach. I won’t ever be able to forgive you for your actions. Your actions aren’t justifiable. My brothers did nothing to you yet for unknown reasons you took revenge on me and now you’re acting as if I am yours?

Since when I became yours? I remember you calling me your whore and bitch and now all of sudden this melt of heart?

Well fuck you, Adrain.

Fuck you for scaring me to death and threatening me to kill my brothers.

“So where were we. Yes, you and singing right.” He tried to build up a conversation.

Ignoring him, I turned my face away.

“You like smell of coffee, right? Wait a moment.” He told me and went out of the room.

I wondered where he has gone and before I could come up with any answers he returned with two cups in his hand. And the cup was filled with coffee. He handed me one cup with a huge smile dancing on his face.

I took the coffee from him and as his aroma entered my nostrils, I felt heavenly. My favourite scent was now Infront of me after months.

I sipped the coffee and shit it was delicious! I looked up at him and found him grinning from ear to ear. “Now I couldn’t make the rain for you but this the least I could do.”

And damn! His words made my heart soft once again. All the anger that I had for him vanished into thin air.

I passed him a low smile and sipped on to my coffee. I wish he could get some cupcakes too. But I am not going to tell him that. I mean I don’t want to go more soft.

“Lily, be mine.” He whispered.

I bite on my lower lips and tried to ignore his words. What’s with him and this mine thing?

“What do you mean?” I asked.

He smiled. “Mine and only mine.”

Okay. Jesus! No seriously, what do you want from me, Adrain?

“Are you planning to make me fall for you and then crush my heart?” I blurted out.

He scratched the back of his head and shrugged his shoulders. “I don’t want you to fall for me. I just want you to be mine.”Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

“Can’t you be more clear?” I asked, irritated.

“I have a sister, her name is Sarah. Would you like to meet you?” He asked, smiling.

What? He has a sister and above all he wants me to meet her? Oh my God! Is he going crazy or am I dreaming? Something is not right here definitely.

“Sure I would love to meet her.” I faked a smile.

I want to meet his sister no doubt but I can’t smile right now. Fuck, I am nervous. I mean I am having this strange feeling in my belly which I can’t ignore and that too for meeting his sister.

“First tell me what she’s like?” I asked.

A huge smile dropped at the corner of his lips and it seemed like he loved his sister.

Right. First he punishes someone’s sister then he loves his own. Height of fucking hipocray.

“She’s sweet. She loves chocolates and white lillies. She used to be this happy kind of girl but then-”

“Then?”

“Something happened and she felt into the arms of depression.” He frowned.

Depression? I thought of asking him that what happened but decided not to. He’ll tell by himself if he thinks that there’s something to tell about.

“Where is she?” I asked instead.

“Rehab.” He said in a sad tone.

“Oh.”

And I don’t know why but I felt something different in my heart? I felt sorry for him. It must be difficult for him to deal with all the chaos. First losing his parents then her little sister fighting with depression in Rehab.

He’s in pain, isn’t it? Pain of losing parents and pain of his sister in Rehab.

“When will you take me to her?” I asked with a genuine smile to lift up his mood.

He blinked and quickly stood up. “Let’s go now.”

“Now? But I am not ready yet.”

“It’s okay. She won’t mind.”

“Okay then.”
