Ajax's Pov

Drug- I was surely a damned person but I have not got addicted to anything all my life other than

victory but this moment the consciousness of why there were wars for women, why men sacrificed their

life for love and why Shakespeare was too keen to fabricate sonnets for his Rose lady was evident to

me.

She was a drug and I was an addict, the first time I saw her descending like an angel from the stairs of

that lavish ballroom, my hatred for her froze for a second, for that time being she was my goddess and

I was her devotee.

Valace Strom had proclaimed his fake love for Alaina innumerable times, always making her target of

his nemesis- a trap in which I was lured.

My stomach churned at the thought of hurting her that day, I wanted to wreck myself for even thinking

like that for a second, but as I remembered why I was doing this, abhorrence surged through my body.

I will quench my thirst for vengeance- I had decided that day.

But when the stark truth, that she had gone through depths of dark hell because of him was exposed, it

cascaded like an acid across my soul, making my insanity perform a dance of destruction.

I will not let that monster ruin an angel- MY angel. She was brave, I saw that in her eye- the burning fire

coating the frost in her heart, the chivillary she had and the valour she displayed, I saw that all.

Right now when my lips touched her's, it caused a yearning sensation, passion collided with power, she

was just like me- wild and unpredictable.

She got on her toes, her hands, in my hair with one on my neck pulling me close to her. It wasn't a kiss

of dominance, it was a dance of craving. I pushed her towards the bookshelf, holding her hips.

A moan escaped her lips, If I had a favorite music ever, it would have been nothing infront of her soft

mewling, she was my doom.

She needed the much needed breath, so I detached myself from her, her forehead came to rest on my

shoulder which she grasped tightly while my arms went behind her pulling her impossibly closer, she

released shallow breaths when I started peppering kisses on every inch of that creamy skin of her neck

and throat.

"Ajax, uh....I am sorry but this is important." Ryan called out from the end his eyes anywhere but on us.

"So important that you cannot wait a minute?"

"Tartarus is demanding your presence."

My lips that were curled into distaste, produced a smirk. "Tell them I won't be coming."

"Ajax.....we need you. Think about it."

"What is Tartarus? "the melodic voice asked from behind me.

"The place where I will bury Valace."

Cally's pov

While walking out of my history class I saw Alaina and Ace together and a smirk made its way to my

lips, she was close to him, closer than friends usually be, her hand holding his arm while he

possessively kissed her fingers.

I made my way to them when I saw her blush to something he said, she was practically glowing.

"Didn't knew you were this distasteful while selecting a partner..... " I eyed Ace from head to toe to

which he rolled his eyes, unbothered, but I couldn't help and shake my head.

".....He is so ugly, what do you saw in him? Here I was stressing myself about you and -"

"SHUT THE FUCK UP" she snarled to which my eyes widened.

"Stay. Away. From. Him, I don't care if you are feeling extra bitchy today or you want Ryan,

unfortunately you are family ,fucking start acting like it." She glared at me.

" Hmm...right, unfortunately" I tsked. "Well I don't care if you have him or any other idiot, just keep that

in mind that Ryan remains mine ,wanted to warn you because you have a habit of stealing love" I

matched her voice.

eyes dangerously shone and his tone made a cold shiver run down my spine.

"I-I " I stuttered because I could not find words to reciprocate him, his tone made me want to hide.

"Let's leave, I don't know what has gotten into her" Alaina shook her head and took him away while

grasping his wrist.

"Cally! Cally wait! I walked faster on hearing Ryan's voice.

He caught my wrist and turned me towards him. "Hey, I want to talk" I removed my hand from his

grasp.

"Cally, I- I like you"he said nervously

"Wait, a-are you proposing me for a date"?I asked not sure if this was happening.

"Yes well, Cally, Ace told me about what happened" he drawled while pulling me closer.

"So, now are you here to tell me to apologise and make friends with him" I asked incredulously.

"No love, I want you to be his enemy and destroy him"
