Chapter 101 en

Anxiety

Jessica was alone in her room. It had been an hour since she left his grandfather’s office. However, she could not yet think about what she would do next.

She stood staring out the glass. It was a beautiful afternoon for her. The fate of her love with Lexi was not yet clear. Her grandfather always forbade her relationship with Lexi .

At one point she thought about running away. As David said, it was not something that solved the problem. It would only make her grandfather angry. Her phone which could keep her connected to Lexi was taken by Daniel.

Jessica had to make a decision. Later that evening while she was on the plane she would look for an opportunity to meet Lexi silently and talk with him.

There was a knock on the door, Anik’s voice called to her quietly.

“Miss, they are waiting, Are you ready?” a loud voice was heard behind the door. Jessica quickly closed her eyes. So, she took the cup and immediately came out of her room.

In the living room, there was her grandfather and David, while his first brother had not sat there. Before walking closer, she made sure her cheeks were not wet with tears. She rubbed it again with a handkerchief then she stepped and sat down next to David. For now, it’s only David who made her feel more comfortable. The other two made him feel depressed.

The sound of Daniel’s footsteps approached. Fredy Kim’s first grandson walked over and stopped right next to the grandfather who was still silent without a sound.

“Lexi is on the same plane as us, do we need to delay the departure of our plane, or do we just leave on a private jet?” Daniel offered another solution. He really doesn’t like Lexi .

“No need, why should we avoid it! We are innocent and we must arrive in Jakarta tonight!” grandpa Kim said with a serious look. “Let’s go to the airport now!” he added.

Then, the three grandchildren just obeyed and immediately headed to the basement using the elevator.

On the way to the airport they used two cars. The first car was Mr. Kim and David. In the second car were Jessica and Daniel.

“You don’t want to leave, Do you, Jess?” Daniel asked as if he could guess what his little sister was thinking.

“Why are you so smart to guess my thoughts? I do want to run away, but I don’t want anything to happen to my husband?” Jessica was brave. After arriving at the airport she would choose to go with Lexi. When you love someone, you choose to live with that person no matter what.

“I hope you don’t follow that stupid mind of yours Jess, since grandpa used to dislike about. And grandfather was already moving quickly from what you thought. You better not mess around and throw away your plans to escape!” Daniel explained. He knew the character of his grandfather.

“So, should I just shut up? I love Lexi so much! I want to live with Lexi!” Jessica firmly can not only checkers without fighting at all.

“You better bury that love of yours Jess. I can’t do much because I also don’t agree with you being in a relationship with that guy for whatever reason.” Daniel looked the other way. He was in a bad mood to argue with Jessica.

“Brother, look at me! Who will help me if not you and David. I asked you to help me talk to my grandfather.” Jessica grabbed her sister’s hand. Holding on tight, hoping Daniel would do something to their grandfather to give his approval to Lexi .

“Don’t talk about this just yet, tomorrow is the day mom and dad die, they will be sad if they see us arguing and attacking each other! I hope you heard what grandpa said and don’t try to figure out how to refute it!” Daniel, who was getting tired, ended his conversation with Jessica.

Jessica took a deep breath, hoping the load on her chest was slightly reduced.

” Don’t be reckless, ” Daniel ordered before the car stopped in the airport parking area. Then they got off and walked to the waiting room to wait for the scheduled departure of the plane from Changi Airport to Soekarno-Hatta airport.

Lexi was in his hotel room. He just called his mother and told her that he would return to Jakarta at this time.

His thoughts immediately fell on Jessica, they had only been apart for a few hours but Lexi had already missed her again and again.

Then, one message came in and it turned out to be from Jessica.

The arrival of the pen made Lexi smile. At least he was very sure that soon, when on the plane he would again meet with his wife. His fingers nimbly typed messages. His expression could not hide the happiness in his heart.

Lexi sent that message to Jessica. However, the strange thing was that the message was not immediately received by his wife. Even just a checklist one meant Jessica did not activate the internet connection on her cellphone.

Several times Lexi looked to his phone screen to make sure the message had been sent. However, it still checks list one which meant it was still not seen by Jessica.

To wait while reducing his bad feeling, Lexi got out of bed and immediately packed some of his stuffs that were on the desk, put them in a backpack.

The clock showed five o’clock over ten minutes. When Lexi decided to get out of the hotel room. Then, he went down to the ground floor by elevator. He ordered a taxi to take him to the airport.

After about five minutes of waiting, the taxi arrived and Lexi immediately sat in the passenger seat. He said his destination location, hoping to meet Jessica at the airport soon.

Along the way to the airport, countless times he kept looking at his phone screen to check the message, but still the same message was not seen by Jessica.

Lexi cast a glance, looking out the glass to reduce his anxiety. No, because Jessica still dominated his mind. How could her number be immediately inactive when he nimbly immediately sent messages from his wife?

The man became increasingly worried and tried to contact the wife but remained inactive as well. His heart was pounding again. He was afraid this was a premonition that he and Jessica would again be separated by distance!

” We’ve arrived at our destination, mister, ” the driver who made Lexi awake from daydreaming said.

“Ok, thank’s.” Lexi gave the fare as stated in baro. Then he got out of the taxi. Looking forward to meeting Jessica in the waiting room.
