Dance for me

19 Chapter

He decided to wait for Pen outside for a while and try to apologize, but George’s car drove up to the university completely unexpectedly.

“What was he doing here?” Ethan wondered.

But at that very moment Pen came out of the building.

“Pen, wait,” Ethan ran up to her and grabbed her arm.

“Let me go, or I’ll scream,” she threatened him.

“I was wrong, I was so damn wrong, I shouldn’t have told you that.”

“But you did, Ethan,” she replied, and wrenched her hand away.

“That’s why I felt it necessary to apologize for everything.

– I will never forgive you. Get out,” she pushed him out of the way.”

“George got up to save Pen from Ethan, so he got out of the car.”

“Ethan, the girl doesn’t want to talk to you, what else isn’t clear to you?”

“You don’t interfere at all. Pen, please,” he tried to change her mind.

“No, I don’t want to, get out, Ethan.”

“Pen, I can save you from him, you just have to get in the car. Don’t be afraid, I won’t do anything bad to you.”

“All right, let’s go,” she agreed, and got into the front seat.

“Pen, don’t do anything stupid, don’t do that,” Ethan pleaded with her, but she didn’t care anymore.

Closing the door behind Pen, George got in the car himself, started the engine, and they drove off.

Ethan did not try to catch up with them, for Pen had made that choice herself.

“Pen,” George said to her.

“Yes,” she answered.

“Do you want me to take you to the restaurant or somewhere else?”

“The restaurant, my shift starts in half an hour.”

“Great, we’ll talk then. Don’t worry, Kevin and Michael will be gone. I want to open your eyes to Ethan and tell you the truth about him.”

“You make it sound like Ethan is a horrible person and has done something terrible.”

“You’ll know that later,” he answered her.

Ten minutes later, he dropped Pen off at the restaurant.

“Here we are,” he announced.

“Thank you,” she said.

“You’re welcome. I have to go now, but we’ll talk later,” he answered and opened the door for her to get out.

“See you later,” Pen said goodbye to him and started to enter the restaurant.

“Hello, Moli. Where’s Beth?” asked Pen as she walked into the kitchen.

“Beth hasn’t come in yet. She’s very rarely late for work, I don’t even know what to do. I’m not sure you can do it all by yourself today.”

“Sooner or later I’m going to have to do it without Beth’s support, so that’s what’s going to happen today.”

“Great, then get changed and get to work. Louis will get the orders ready, and you take them out.”

“Okay,” Pen agreed and started to change as she went into the dressing room. She put on her sexy uniform and apron again and put bright red lipstick on her lips.

“George?”

“Yes, I am. I was just afraid you wouldn’t come if you knew I was here. So I decided to cheat a little. I don’t want you to be afraid of me.”

“I’m not afraid of you.”

“I told you I’d be alone tonight. I didn’t lie.”

“I see I brought your order.”

“Thank you, Pen. Sit with me.”

“George, I have to work. Beth didn’t come in to work today.”

“George remembered all the things they had done with her yesterday and laughed involuntarily. She just wasn’t able to work today.”

“Maybe she was just running late.”

“Because of her being late, I’ll have to work myself.”

“Come on, I’ll talk to Moli, and she’ll let you go, too.”

“No, that’s okay, George.”

“I just want to help you, you know, why don’t I help you deliver the orders?”Copyright by Nôv/elDrama.Org.

“Are you serious?”

“I’m serious. I haven’t always been this successful, and I worked as a waiter on summer vacation, so I know my way around.”

“I don’t even know.”

“Well, I do. Let’s go to Moli’s,” he said, and taking Pen by the hand he led her to Moli’s. Pen could not understand how in one day a man could change so much? Was he wearing a mask before, or is he doing it now?

“Moli, hello.”

“Hello, my dear. Have you come to complain about Pen?” She asked when she saw her beside him.

“No, you didn’t. She’s gold, really. It’s just that Beth isn’t out today, and it’s hard for Pen to handle everything by herself. Besides, I’d like her to keep me company right now.”

” Beth left with you yesterday,” said Moly, and she didn’t choose the right moment to do it. After all, Pen shouldn’t have known that.

“Let me be clear, Moli. She didn’t leave with us. She left with Michael and Kevin. That’s a little different. Unlike them, I’m here.”

“Тhis is your personal business. But your friends ruined my best waitress.”

” I had nothing to do with that,” George replied.

“Well, do you want me to let Pen go?”

“For an hour, no more. So will you do this little favor for me?”

“George, George. How could I say no to you?”

“All right, fine. Then I’m taking Pen to the VIP room.”

Pen didn’t say anything, and after Moli’s permission, she went with George to the VIP room. George brought a bottle of whiskey with him.

“Have a seat,” he offered her, and she took a seat at the table.

“Are you sure you don’t know where Beth is?”

“No, I didn’t go with them yesterday,” he tricked her.

“All right, then. So tell me, what was it you wanted to tell me about Ethan?”

“Are you dying to know the truth about him?”

“Yeah. I’d really like to know what kind of person he really is. I find your behavior strange. Your friends’ behavior. You’re wearing a mask, George. You’re not really as bad as you want to seem. Ethan, on the contrary, wants too much to seem good, but by trying not to be inferior to you. You can’t be good and bad at the same time.”

You’re right. We’ve all been friends since high school. We had a lot in common – wins, losses, girls. In terms of girls. We’ve always sought women’s attention, because what more do silly young fools want? A sexy, popular guy. And everyone’s lists were shrinking from the moment Ethan became a dancing star.
