Contract With The Alpha King

Contract 4

Fiona bit her lower lip as she paced outside the Prince's rooiri.

Last night. Regor, the Prince's aide, had brought her to the adjacent room, telling her to rest. Fiona took his advice but was unable to sleep. Anxious and wide awake, she bathed, wrapped herself in a robe, and went to the Prince's room, determined to tell him she agreed. She couldn't afford to wait any longer. Despite not having enough rest, all Fiona could think about was leaving this place. What if the Prince took his offer back?

Fiona was now without a pack or a clan or any backup plan-just the $1,000 in her account that she was able to save in secret. But she had no passport so her options will be very limited. Her parents didn't think she needed to leave the pack or the country for that matter, so they never got her one.

Aside from her medical arts, she also never learned any normal education. No high school or college degree. She would be lucky if someone hired her as a waitress once she left this place.

She was deep in thought when a familiar voice startled her.

"I was waiting for you to knock," Elijah said from behind. She turned, her gaze locking onto the robe clinging to his muscled chest, damp from a recent bath. She caught her breath when her gaze landed on his tousled hair and the water droplets on his skin.

"I... I was just... Fiona stuttered, her heart racing. Elijah's intense gaze held hers.

"Come inside, Fiona His voice was low, commanding. She hesitated, feeling exposed, but something deeper urged her forward. She stepped into Elijah's room, the scent of soap and warmth enveloping her as he closed the door.

Elijah moved with deliberate grace and somehow, Fiona's eyes couldn't help but trace every detail of him. Like the way his robe hung loosely, the curve of his jawline still soft from the steam, and how his lips resembled that of an apple. It seemed so inviting, she started to wonder what they tasted like.

"You didn't sleep well," Elijah's voice pulled her back to reality.

Il couldn't, she admitted softly. There was too much on my mind."

"I heard about what happened last night," Elijah said, his gaze deep.Content is © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

She nodded. Without having second thoughts, she said, "I agree to be your wife for the next three years and find the medicine that could help you."

The silence that followed her words was almost unnerving. His unreadable expression somehow made her practically desperate to prove herself. "I've been trained in the medicinal arts. If I may... I can examine your body and determine if I can help." Finally, he made a surprise face. "You want to examine my body

Fiona blushed, but nodded. "Yes, this is purely professional." She cleared her throat. "I must theck your energy points. And maybe-

"There's no need to be nervous," Elijah said.

Before she could respond, he untied his robe and let it fall to the floor. Fiona's breath caught. His body was everything she imagined and more-perfectly proportioned, strong, and capable. Her heart pounded as the room seemed to shrink "You said you needed to examine me," Elijah spoke casually, a smirk on his lips.

Fiona swallowed hard, her pulse racing as she reached out with trembling lingers. Who would have thought that he would

However, this wasn't the time to hesitate. She asked him to lie down on the bed, and he complied without a word. Her hand hovered just above his chest, feeling the hear of his skin and the Meady rise and fall of his breath. "May 1" she asked sofily.

Elijah nodded, his smirk fading as his eyes locked onto hers, making it hard to focus. Fiona took a deep breath and placed her hand on his chest. His heartbeat was strong, steady, and powerful-just like him.

Her hand moved slowly, pressing against the first point she had been taught, just below his collarbone. As her fingers lingered, she felt a shiver, unsure if it was from him or her own nervousness.

Elijah's breathing deepened, his eyes darker now, the smirk replaced by something more primal. However, Fiona forced herself to ignore it. She had to be professional.

This wasn't the first time she had touched a man's body but something about Elijah made her so nervous. She convinced herself that this was because he was a prince, nothing more...

Fiona's hand moved lower, tracing the contours of his chest, feeling his muscles flex under her touch. She pressed gently on his abdomen, noting nothing was wrong there, but the tension in his body increased and she could feel it. "You're doing well," Elijah murmured, his voice rough, as if he, too, was feeling the tension between them. Was it just her hallucination?

Fiona nodded, unable to speak, as she moved her hand lower, tracing the line of his hip before pressing against another point-The Nexus, a connection between physical and spiritual energy. His muscles tightened under her touch. It was a subtle but unmistakable reaction.

Her hand trembled as she moved to the next point, just above his navel, the Source of Will. A pulse of energy resonated. through her fingers, and she frowned, trying to decipher it

"Is everything as it should be?" Elijah asked, his voice a soft rumble.

Fiona nodded, still pressing gently against his skin. "You're strong," she whispered, "Your energy it's powerful."

After a moment that felt like an eternity, she pulled her hand back and cleared her throat. "I didn't find anything wrong," she said softly. "You're the strongest werewolf I've ever seen." Elijah's expression remained unreadable. "So, you think you can help me?"

"I believe I can," she replied, trying to sound confident. "But we should discuss this further... after you dress."

Elijah smiled slightly and nodded, reaching for his robe. Fiona quickly stood up, eager to put some distance between them But in her haste, she stumbled.

Everything happened in a blur.

Fiona expected to fall back, her body hitting the floor. Instead, strong arms wrapped around her, pulling her against his chest. Her breath caught as she found herself pressed against him, her face inches from his.

The warmth of his body seeped into her, his steady heartbeat echoing in her ears. His scent-clean, fresh from the bath, mixed with something uniquely him-surrounded her.

For a moment, neither of them moved.

Fiona's face flushed, her heart pounding so loudly she was sure he could hear it. She opened her mouth to apologize, but no words came out. She was completely overwhelmed, trapped in les drins.

Elijah's hand rested on her lower back, his touch firm but gentle His dark gray eyes bore into hers, and for a brief, dizzying moment, she thought he might kiss her.

But then he pulled back slightly, giving her just enough space to breathe but still keeping her close. "Careful," he murmured. "You don't want to hurt yourself.""

Fiona's embarrassment deepened. She quickly tried to pull away, but his hand lingered on her back, holding her in place just a moment longer.

Then she felt it.. the hard bulge between his legs.
