Fiona stepped into the room, immediately struck by its elegant yet inviting warmth. The walls were painted in soft beige. tones, and the furnishings complemented the color scheme with rich, earthy accents.
A large princess bed dominated the space, draped with light, sheer canopies that added a touch of romance. The bed itself looked incredibly comfortable, with plush pillows and a thick, luxurious comforter that practically invited her to sink into it
The room was well-lit, not by harsh lights, but by a soft, golden glow that emanated from ornate sconces on the walls. It felt like a perfect blend of royalty and house, making her feel safe and welcomed. "This is where you will be staying" Elijah said, his voice breaking through her thoughts.
"P" Fiona asked, turning to him. She noted the word 'you' "Alone" she asked.
An amused smile played on his lips. "It's adjoining mine." he said, gesturing to the door on the other side of the room. "You can come to me if you need anything."
Fiona glanced at the adjoining door, a mix of relief and anxiety seuling in. Before she could say anything. Elijah added, his tone slightly teasing. "Unless, of course, you'd prefer we stay in the same room."
Fiona's eyes widened slightly, and she quickly shook her head, feeling a blush creep up her neck. She recalled their earlier conversation about the ceremonies that needed to be completed before the official marking. Elijah had explained that these were not just formalities but acts of respect for his father, the King. As he spoke, he gently touched her face, his fingers brushing her cheek, reassuring her that the marking would happen before the next full moon
The memory of his touch made her heart flutter. The warmth of his hand on her face left a lingering heat. Elijah stepped closer, his gaze intense and filled with a desire that matched the pounding of her heart. Fiona felt her breath catch as he leaned in, his lips brushing hers in a kiss. She could still taste the lingering taste of the wine that they had earlier just from that very small interaction
Her hands instinctively reached up, tangling in his hair as their bodies pressed together, the heat between them growing
But just as the kiss was intensifying, a sudden knock on the door interrupted them. Fiona pulled back, breathless, her pulse racing as they turned to see Regor standing in the doorway, looking as composed as ever despite the situation.
*1 apologize Your Highness, but your mother, Queen Luna, is here to see you, Regor announced. His expression remained neutral, but there was a slight tension in his tone as he added, "And she's brought Miss Carissa with her."
Elijah's jaw tightened slightly, his gray eyes narrowing with a flicker of annoyance. Fiona could feel the shift in his mood, the tension that had been building between them was now interrupted by unwelcome news. He released a slow, controlled breath, his hand still resting lightly on her waist as he glanced back at her.
"I'll take care of this," he said softly, his voice low and reassuring. He leaned in, pressing a quick, final kiss to her lips before turning back to Regor. "Tell them I'll be there shortly."
wwww
Regor nodded and left the room.
"Is there something I can do?" Fiona asked.
"I already expected this," Elijah said. "Rio must have immediately informed them"
"I thought Rio is"

Fiona pursed her lips. "I didn't mean to bring you trouble."
father."
"Trouble?" He lifted an eyebrow before he smiled. "What trouble"
Fiona wanted to answer him, but no words came out of her lips She smiled in response. "Then 1-1 will be taking a rest." To be fair, she had been very exhausted. All that wine and kissing cally made her crave rest. She could feel her eyes closing anytime now. "Of course," he answered before he leaned forward and captured her lips again. "I will be seeing you tomorrow." He started! walking but stopped. "Ah," he turned to her. "The room has been enchanted. This room and mine are the safest parts of this place She smiled at that. "Thank you. I will keep that in mind." With that, he left the room.
Fiona quickly washed herself, letting the warm water rinse away the tension of the day. She dried off and slipped into a soft robe, deciding not to touch any of the clothes in the closet since Elijah hadn't mentioned anything about them. The robe would suffice for now. She lay down on the plush bed, sinking into the comfort of the thick comforter and soft pillows. The bed was as inviting as it looked, and she felt her body finally start to relax. A sense of satisfaction washed over her; she was still alive, still here, despite everything But as she stared up at the canopy, her thoughts drifted back to her father and her family. Could Elijah really be right? Would her father truly go to such lengths to kill her just because she left the pack? The idea seemed absurd, yet a part of her knew it was possible. After all, she knew no Rosenthals outside the pack. The realization left her feeling confused and Unsettled.
She hadn't expected her plan to escape to include being hunted by her own family. The thought weighed heavily on her. adding to the exhaustion that was already pressing down on her.
With a sigh, Fiona closed her eyes, deciding to push the thoughts aside for now. She needed rest. Everything else could wait until morning. Slowly, sleep claimed her, pulling her into the darkness where, for a time, she could forget about the worries of the world outside. CRIMSON HOWLER'S PACK
"The Prince took her to the palace?" Zachariah's face turned ugly when he heard his father's words. He looked at the Alpha "Is this news a hundred percent sure?"
"Do you think I am stupid enough to believe unconfirmed news? Alpha Cris hissed, his eyes narrowed.
"But why? The Rite is still ongoing, and I thought he was seeking support from other packs?" The princes are supposed to travel to different packs around the world, and they have six months to complete this task. The deadline hasn't passed yet, so why would Elijah return to the palace? Was it really just because of Fiona? "Why would he do that just for.. Frona?"
"That woman..."The Alpha made a deliberate pause. "Her father never told me she could heal."
"Heal?" Zachariah snorted. "Only one of the generation..." He paused, realizing something. "Are your suspecting that she awakened the ability?"All content is © N0velDrama.Org.
When his father said nothing in response, he added. "But-but only one in every generation gets to awaken, right?" However, his father didn't give him an answer. Confused, he asked, "Am I right, Father?"
