Chapter 10
Chapter 10 The wedding
“Alice? Where is your bathrobe?”
She asked me, but I froze, seeing her walking towards me. I just tried to cover myself, but as soon as she reached me, she grabbed my arm, forcing me to stand normally.
“Come on, Alice, we have no time for this. We
e are women. You can’t use that bathrobe, so let yourself dry.”
She said, and she pulled me to the dressing table. She sat me down, naked.
“If I had known, you are washing your hair.” She said while shook her head, then took the hairdryer, and dried my hair.
“I want to try this ribbon in your hair, so just stay calm.” She added, and she started to make braids using the ribbon as a decoration.

seem like she cared about that.
“It isn’t work.” She said with disappointment. “Il call the hairdressers to try it. I think you would look great with a ribbon in your hair.” She sighed. “Okay, Alice, get dressed. I’ll be back in ten minutes to take you down to have breakfast.” She said, then she walked out of the room.
I just sat there for a few seconds, stunned. How many times she wants to see me naked? Lasked myself, but then I remembered she said ten minutes, so I rushed to the wardrobe to find a suitable dress.
Mrs. Sullivan took me everywhere to make the final arrangements for the wedding. The time passed very quickly, and soon I found myself at the dining table again.
Mrs. Sullivan couldn’t stop talking about the wedding. I was surprised to realize Spencer didn’t mind listening to his wife at all, even if the topic clearly made him feel bored.
In the evening, she took me back to my room, and she ordered me to have a good sleep, because she didn’t want to see me tired. She said she paid for some top specialist make–up artists to make me look beautiful, and she said I can’t make their job harder.
I didn’t mind that, actually; I wanted to enjoy that comfy bed once again. However, even if I tried to get some sleep, I couldn’t, as I wondered about Gideon. Will he like me? Will he take me as his real wife? Perhaps my life could end up like Cinderella’s, and he would like me, giving me a family and a life that I dreamed of? Will he take my virginity on the first night? Will he want to touch me at all? But then my positive thoughts turned into scary ones. What if he is a horrible person? What if he will torture me, or he will kill me? Eventually, I feared from the next day, but I just told myself, I have to accept the happenings till I find the way to escape.
Gideon
I woke up. There was a slight headache after a night of partying. I couldn’t find Gemma in bed. I got dressed and went to the kitch
“Good morning.” She greeted me with a smile.
“What are you doing?” I asked with a frown of confusion.
“I ordered some breakfast.”
“Gemma, I don’t really have time for this-

“Gideon, please. You are getting married tomorrow, Spend time with me today, at least.” She talked to me like she was begging.
“Gemma, it’s not a real wedding, and you know that.”
She looked so pitiful. Actually I was But to avoid drama, I decided to stay for a bit

I’m going to have some food with you, but then I have to go
She nodded sadly.

We sat at the small table and ate.
“Gideon, will you meet me tomorrow?”
I laughed.
“I don’t think so-”
She looked at me, terrified.
I laughed again.
“I’ll be free after the celebration. I can spend my wedding night with you. A virgin must be boring in bed, anyway.”
She smiled finally.
“Can I go to you then
“Will set. I’ll call you.” This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.
She didn’t really like my reply, but she nodded.
“Will she live with you, then?”
“Yes.”
“Will you treat her well?”
I stopped eating, and 1 looked at her.
“No, I won’t. And now, please let me have my breakfast. I told her, and from the tone I used, she realised I was fed up with the conversation, so she finally stopped.
After I ate, I left. I felt a little relieved that I could miss the drama. I drove back home, and 1 just went back to bed.
The next morning, I quickly got ready. Thanks to my connections, I signed the wedding documents at the register office without my family.
When I stepped out of the building, I grinned. I never thought that this was going to come. From then, I was officially a married man. 1 don’t know why I found that funny that much, though
I went back home, and put my suit on what my mum chose for me, and I was ready.
One of my guys took me to the church. It did not really surprise me when I saw many people. Mostly my mum’s friends were there. I looked around, and I spotted Seth and his family. I walked there. When we saw me, he ran to me happily.

“Gideon.”
I smirked at her and took her into m

She indeed looked adorable. She had a light pink dress, which really made her look like a princess.
I kissed Leah on her cheek and nodded to Seth. Apparently, he was still angry with me.
Are you ready, Gideon
Leah asked me.
“Of course
I still grinned while I put the little one down, then suddenly 1 felt a push from behind. I knew who that was without turning lightly. I hugged her tight as well. Even if avoided talking to her for a few days, I loved my little sister.

She stayed in my embrace.
“Gideon, are you sure you won’t change your mind?”
“I won’t. And

She smiled. And gently punched in my stomach.
“Well, your brides-”
“We have to go in.” Seth interrupted her.
I kissed her, and we walked in. As I looked around, I felt satisfied. My mum did a great job. Everything looked real. There was a repo
was a reporter too, which made the entire event more funny to me. I wanted everyone to see how happy I was at my wedding, so I kept smiling.
We walked to the altar. I stood there with my brother behind me. First I thought I would need to act on my happiness, but surprisingly, the whole ceremony made me feel like I had to laugh.
Finally, everyone’s attention was on the main door as they played the music. I could see my mum and dad walking in the front hand in hand, then Sloane walked with Ava, pouring white petals on the floor, and there was my bride.
She had a beautiful white dress. My mum indeed did a good job. I couldn’t see my bride’s face, as a veil covered it. I only hoped that her look wouldnt be so ugly that I wouldn’t be able to kiss her.
Finally, she arrived next to me, and the priest started the ceremony.
She had a soft and pleasant voice
When she stood next to me, I tried to ignore looking at her. Through the veil, I only saw will.

After a long speech, the priest got to the part where I could kiss my bride.
I turned to her, but I still tried to avoid looking at her, I wanted to leave it for the last second, but as I lifted the veil up, and her face appeared, and she looked into my eyes, I instantly felt like I wouldn’t be able to do this.
I swallowed.
I never saw a beautiful woman like her. Forcing myself to hide my fo didn’t move, and when my Eps touched hers, I felt like I didn’t want to let her lips go.

I could feel she was breathing faster, and probably her racing heart was visible on her chest. She was scared. And the worst was, I hated that.
When
the ceremony finished, I wrapped her arm around mine. I smiled, but inside I was confused. I didn’t know why I
I felt like this.
I walked out of the church with her, and I helped her to sit in the limousine. As soon as we were out of sight, my smile disappeared.

I repeated these sentences to myself inside my mind like mantras during the journey to the hotel.
The celebration was huge. She didn’t talk at all. My parents made the speeches, they really made it look real. My wife had a small smile on her face, but
I knew she had been told to do that I could feel how much she didn’t want that at all, and from her trembling hands, that never stopped gripping her dress under the table, made me realize she was terrified.

any longer, I needed relief. I made my mood better by drinking. I drank one after another, and soon I got totally drunk.
