Cinderella And Her Beautiful Octuplets

Chapter 269

Lisa had just gotten dressed to leave the house. She needed to get some things done.NôvelDrama.Org: owner of this content.

She had walked outside the house and hopped inside her car. She was about to drive out of the house when she saw Matthew standing outside the house.

“Matthew?!” She called and then climbed out of the car and walked towards him. Matthew turned to her and sighed.

“Thank God I saw you, I don’t know why the security guards won’t let me in, could you please tell them to let me in or call Jessica to let me in” he said and Lisa scoffed.

“Really? I don’t think Jessica wants to see you. You should leave before Brandon sees you else you are dead. Jessica is hurt” Lisa said with a smirk on her face and Matthew sighed softly. He then moved closer to Lisa and gave her a big document that was in his hands.

“What’s this?” She asked, staring at the document.

“I need you to give it to Jessica. I agree our first meeting wasn’t a coincidence, but I never wrote about her family, instead, I wrote about mine.

My family is the most scandalous in Houston and I wrote about them not the Colbys” he said and Lisa stared at him looking confused.

She opened the first page of the book and read a few parts and then paused, opening her eyes wide in shock.

“Wait, you are the son of Larson Robert of Houston?” Lisa asked with a surprised look on her face and Matthew nodded.

Lisa was surprised, she heard a lot about Larson Robert, he’s one of the richest men In Houston and has so many companies and houses in Atlanta city.

She was wrong, Matthew wasn’t from a poor family, he was from one of the richest families in the world.

“I’ll be on my way now,” he said as he entered the car and then zoomed off. Lisa hummed as she entered her car.

She put the document in her bag, there was no way she was giving it to Jessica.

She ignited the engine and zoomed off.

It was evening and the octuplets had closed from school. Arianna had brought them back from school and asked them to go upstairs to their room to rest while she prepared dinner for them.

The kids entered their room and quickly changed into their house wear. Allison took the brush which Mellisa’s hair was and removed the strands of hair, putting it in a small nylon.

“I haven’t seen Aunt Jessica, anywhere,” Allison said.

“I think she’s in her room. She’s heartbroken because of Matthew… I never for once even liked the guy. I’m not even sure she would want to see us or even help us anymore” Aubrey said and the octuplets hummed while staring at each other.

“We won’t know until we try,” Audrey said and they all sighed and decided to go to Jessica’s room.

They planted a soft knock on the door, but there was no answer.

They pushed the door and luckily it wasn’t locked from the inside. They walked inside the room.

The room was dark, as they couldn’t see anyone, not even themselves.

“Aunt Jessica” they whispered while trying to locate the switch in the room but they all collided with each other at once and fell to the ground.

“Ouch, who hit my head” Aubrey and Allison yelled.

“I should be asking you, you matched my leg-”

“Don’t put your hands in my eyes, watch where you are going” They kept arguing and Jessica who was fast asleep heard noises from her sleep, she opened her eyes.

Her room was dark and she couldn’t see who was making the noise.

She yelled and jumped off her bed thinking it was a ghost. She quickly switched on the lights.

The moment the light went on she saw the octuplets on the ground.

She stared at them with a surprised look on her face.

“What are you guys doing here? You scared me” she yelled as she placed her hands on her chest and heaved a sigh of relief.

“Sorry, we didn’t mean to scare you,” Jayden said as they all stood up from the ground and straightened their clothes.

“What are you guys doing here ?” She asked as she moved towards the bed and sat on it.

“We have her hair, we need you to take it to the Lab for DNA,” Jayden said as he stepped forward.

“I’m tired, I’m no longer interested in doing whatever DNA shit! You guys should leave” she said as she ruffled her hair.

“But we had an agreement” Addison said and Jessica stared at them without saying a word.

She needed something to distract her mind from thinking about Matthew. Maybe this would help her.

“Fine, give me the sample,” she said and Jayden gave it to her.

“Remember, you keep an eye on Lisa while I do this,” Jessica said and they all nodded in unison.

“Okay, now you guys can leave,” she said and the kids smiled at her and walked out of the room but Jayden paused and went back inside the room.

“You are a strong woman, Aunt Jessica, you shouldn’t let anything bring you down,” Jayden said and gave Jessica one last glance before going outside the room to meet his siblings.

They walked towards their room and just as they were about to open the door, the door opened revealing Arianna.

“Grandma” they called surprised and smiled.

“Where did all of you go?” She asked as she wrapped her hands around her chest. They all stared at each other.

“And do not dare lie to me,” she said and they all sighed softly.

“We went to see Aunt Jessica. We heard about the breakup and decided to show some sympathy ” Jayden said and Arianna hummed while staring at them.

She wasn’t buying their lie.

“Grandma, Aunt Jessica is our friend, so…” Aubrey said with a shrug.

“The last time I checked you guys and Jessica weren’t friends. How did you guys become friends overnight or is there something I’m missing?”
