Gama snapped from his train of thoughts as he heard the doctor speak to the guy who, according to the memory of the body he now resides in, happened to be his manager.
“Do you know who he was referring to?” The doctor asked Mason, who still felt worried for Chris.
“No idea. That’s an unusual name. This is America, not some Asian country. And I can assure you he doesn’t associate much with other races to the point of seeking one out after waking from passing out.” Mason detailed.
His response clearly showed he knew Chris’s personal life well.
“Noted.” The doctor acknowledged before turning to face Chris, who just stared at them in silence.
“Your name is Chris. You’re one of America’s top actors. If you could tell us more about Nimalaya, perhaps we can help.” The doctor probed.
“Excuse me, doctor, this could end up as some kind of scandal over an unknown individual. He must have hit his head when he fell. Don’t treat him like some kind of lunatic.” The manager disagrees with the doctor’s approach after he had told him no one in Chris’s life bears such a name.
It was a miracle that reporters weren’t able to catch a whiff of Chris’s situation yet.
Who knows who is lurking among the nurses to steal a gist or 2 about the situation.
“Kindly step out, Mr Mason.” The doctor demanded.
Chris, however, recalled how he had managed to come to the human realm.
….
Although the witch is powerful, she still feared Gama’s mentality and knew her revelation had gone wrong.
Gama didn’t understand the situation, and just as he usually does, he cares about his own interests.
He had returned home, ready to wage war on the witches till they provided a way out for him, when the old witch had reappeared and demanded for him to stop what he was about to do.
Gama had responded that she knew the only way that could be possible.
“I will make sure to bring as many as your kind down before I meet my supposed end. And that is if you managed to defeat me alongside whoever you are planning to team up with in your old head.” Gama was taunted.
“You will regret this. You are not meant for her. Don’t you get it? Perhaps if you let yourself, you will find a mate for yourself.” The old witch had been so upset with him, yet her word only made him try to kill her once again.
He’s a man of little words, but more action.
The old witch had requested they have a talk.NôvelDrama.Org owns all © content.
“About my way to the human world?” He had asked, hinting to her no other talk would happen aside from that.
The idea of Gama leaving their world has been tempting to the old witch, but she felt bad for Nimalaya after witnessing her heartbreak in the past.
But at the same time, getting rid of Gama and Nimalaya from the demon realm would actually bring a change.
The tyrant would be out of everyone’s hair.
Even if Gama does something crazy to Nima’s mate, at least the human realm will face the wrath of her flame.
Those thoughts had prompted the old witch to aid his transmigration to the human realm.
While Nimalaya got separated from her demon, Gama had chosen to keep his power.
The curse on the demon wouldn’t activate as long as they didn’t use their power to upset the balance of the human world.
He had pushed the witch to disclose that much when he insisted there must be a way he wouldn’t have to be separated from his demon.
The safest way was to take over a human body, making the curse evade him.
Until he overused his power, of course.
…..
Back at the hospital, Gama, who had been trying to adjust his mindset to that of the memory and personality of the body he now owned, sat up on his bed.
Mason moved closer to him, ignoring the doctor’s request to step out.
“Hey Chris, you good?” He asked with a worried tone.
“I’m alright. Let’s leave.” He said to his manager, who could somehow feel the difference in his aura.
When he spoke directly to him, he could feel goosebumps rising on his skin.
His body urged him to vacate the area.
With a slight shiver, “of course.” He managed to say, not able to tear his gaze away from Chris/Gama.
‘I need to be careful. I will need my power to claim my woman.’ Gama said to himself.
Although he had acted recklessly to get to the human world, he was a smart person.
Gama knew he had to abide by the rule of nature. Something he wasn’t capable of fighting.
He must find Nimalaya.
‘I’m sure she took the option of retaining her original body. That means she’s separated from her demon.’
His monologue continued.
Gama had two choices.
Either to win Nima over with the body he now inhabited or to kill Emily and merge Nima with her demon, hence returning to the demon world with her.
