BILLIONAIRE’S SECRETARY

NOT SO FAST, MISS NICOLE SCOTT

She was frozen at the chairman’s order as she raised her face and stared at him.

“You have to pay the price to get what is actually written down there; you use what you have to get what you want, that’s the saying right, Nicole,” Mr Gilbert says as he gets up from his chair and walks to the window in his office.NôvelDrama.Org holds © this.

“I don’t understand you, Mr. Gilbert; you are speaking in parables. If you don’t mind, I would ask that you go straight to the point,” Nicole asked.

Now that feeling of being scared ten minutes ago which she obviously forgot, had come back in a thousand folds and totally consumed her.

She knew something wasn’t right, starting from the moment Mr. Gilbert asked for her presence in his office.

“Sure, I will go straight to the point,” Mr. Gilbert said as he closed the window curtains and headed to where Nicole was sitting and started fondling her hair.

“You know you are a nice, talented, and beautiful young lady, right?”

“I would sincerely love to give you this position; I know you would want to be the CEO, and who wouldn’t want that?”

He said as he held her hand, raising her from the chair.

“But you see, Nicole, I can give you this position on one condition,” Mr. Gilbert says calmly as he gives a devilish smile.

“I still don’t understand, Mr. Gilbert. What condition are you talking about?”

“What are you saying I need to do in order to get this position?” Nicole asked.

“It’s a very simple task, which I know you would do,” Mr. Gilbert said.

“Mr. Gilbert, it wouldn’t be a simple task if you hadn’t told me what the task was all about, and…” She couldn’t finish her statement when Mr. Gilbert interrupted her.

“Nicole, like I said, the task is a simple thing, and if you are capable of doing it, this promotion will be totally yours,” Mr. Gilbert said as his hands went down her curves, and she shivered at the old man’s audacity and removed his hands from her body.

“I can see you are playing hard to get already without me telling you the condition. Okay, I will say it now.”

Nicole looked at him, and all she saw was a blabbering old, stupid man who was the chairman where she was working.

“Ok, I’m all ears, Chairman,” she said, waiting to hear the condition; he said that was a simple task.

“I want you here on my desk, Nicole,” he said as he grabbed my waist lustfully, and she couldn’t bear it anymore.

She pulled out of him and landed him a hot, resounding slap on his old, fat, wrinkled cheek.

“What did you just do, Miss Nicole Scott?” Mr. Gilbert asked as he let out a loud grunt.

“Mr. Chairman, I’ll do it over again if you place your filthy hands on me. How could you think so little of me? How dare you think of me in that manner, and what makes you think I will do your bidding? “You must be ashamed of yourself, old hag.” She couldn’t bear the insult Mr. Gilbert gave me, and she let out all the words she had in her mouth.

“I don’t know, but let me say this loud and clear.”

“Mr. Gilbert, I am not a harlot; I don’t sell my body just because of things like this; let that stick to your head,” she finally said as she walked out of his office, leaving him dumbfounded and speechless.

Nicole immediately left Mr. Gilbert’s office. She rushed to her office and picked up her phone and stuff.

She then headed to the elevator. She needed to leave that place; she needed the natural air to touch her face.

She picked up her phone from her bag and dialed Tina’s number.

“Hey babe, I am on my way to your house now; get ready,” Nicole said as she entered the elevator and pressed the last floor button.

“Babe, what about your work?”

“I mean, it’s almost 4 p. m., and you are leaving work?” Tina inquired.

“Tina forgot about my work; get ready; we are going to where we talked about two days ago,” Nicole said in a faint voice.

“Okay, I will, and I just hope you are okay,” Tina says, hoping her best friend is okay.

“Okay, expect me in thirty minutes,” Nicole says as she hangs up.

She couldn’t believe what happened thirty minutes ago in the chairman’s office.

“Oh my God, There is BIG TROUBLE.. Lucas exclaimed, as he was short of words.

“How do we explain to our boss what happened with Seamus Group shares?” Lucas asked as he paced me to and from the office.

“I don’t know, but we have to tell him, and we must not waste time; it’s been two days, and he’s coming back from France today; in an hour or so, his flight should have landed,” Aaron says as he sits and crosses his legs.

“You are talking like it is easy, just like that. I should tell him, for God’s sake, I am the managing director of this company,” Lucas says as he angrily throws everything on the desk as they crash on the floor.

“Boss wasn’t around for a month, and the shares fell suddenly, Aaron, how do you explain that?” Lucas asked quietly, staring at Aaron.

“Lucas, for God’s sake, I am the financial manager; how do you expect me to know?”

“I am as shocked as you are; it happened so suddenly that I can’t point my finger at what happened,” Aaron explained. He was surprised when he heard the news.

Beep beep

Lucas turned and stared at his phone, which was ringing.  He stared at Aaron and then picked up the call.

“A group of people sent their application letters, sir,” the caller says.

“Was there an exception?” Lucas asked.

“Yes, sir,” the caller responded.

“Okay, do what needs to be done,” Lucas said and hung up, dropping his phone on the desk.

“Lucas, what are you up to?” Aaron asked

“We’re doing the right thing,” Lucas said.

” What right thing? ”   Aaron asked again with a confused tone.

“We’re employing a secretary for the boss,” Lucas answered calmly.

“What?”

“You must be kidding, right?” Aaron said.

“It was the boss’ order, not mine,” Lucas said fiercely.

“Something’s fishy here; I’m out of here; I have a meeting to attend,” Aaron says as he makes his way to the exit.

Nicole drives into the parking lot and sees Tina sitting on a waiting chair in the parking lot as she blows her car horn, but Tina was sleeping.

“I wondered why she was sleeping here.”

“I asked you to wait for me not to sleep, Tina.” Nicole says to no one in particular as she steps out of her car and goes to Tina and taps her gently.

“Hey, wake up,” Nicole says as Tina opens her eyes and yawns.

“You said you would be here in thirty minutes, but it’s been an hour and forty-three minutes; you are late,” Tina says with a sleepy eye as she glances at her phone screen and checks the time.

“I’m so sorry, the traffic was too bad; come on, get up; let’s leave here,” Nicole says as she helps Tina into the car, and they zoom off.
