Chapter 21
He lost control.
“Let me make it up to you,” he said hopelessly.
Perhaps he could make amends financially to put her mind at rest.
“How much would you pay a woman who loved you?””
Ava laughed.
She took his hand and walked away, leaving him with a resolute back.
Goden Bran walked out, and the driver opened the car door, but paused and looked at the boss.
He immediately remembered.
For two years, every detail had flooded his thoughts.
She went in front of him and confidently requested, “Is Goden Bran dating anyone? ”
Now she was quietly informing him about the divorce.
His heart felt a little void.
“Boss Goden Bran, you have a meeting in the afternoon,” the driver reminded him.
“What day is it today?” Goden Bran said, his lips curling in a sad grin.
“Thirteenth.”
“Let’s go to the graveyard,” he said after a pause.
His steps halted in front of Cary Bran’s gravestone.
His dark eyes were fixed on the name.
“My boy is certainly amazing,” his father looked at him, caressing his head that year. “In the future, he’ll be a hundred times stronger than me.”
He had no choice but to work hard to achieve his goals.
“Boss Goden Bran, Mrs Bran phoned,” the assistant said softly. “She said President Swift of the biggest investor Swift group wants to have dinner with you tonight.
Make a reservation and tell her I’ll be back later.
“Alright.”
“Dad, would you be content if I achieve this step?” Goden Bran asked his father on the gravestone after the assistant left.
As the sun set, Goden was discussing the company merger with Belli Tannu’s father at London’s most renowned restaurant, London Restaurant. “You guys only knows business,” Belli Tannu’s mother smiled, “and you should not forget that we came here to discuss marriage.”
“Let’s speak about it another time,” President Swift said graciously. Today we’ll discuss about your marriage.”
“Uncle, don’t worry, I will give her the most spectacular wedding,” Goden Bran grinned and extended his hand to clasp Belli Tannu’s.
Belli Tannu grinned, her little face beaming.
“Boss Goden Bran…” the assistant said, opening the door a little.
When Goden Bran went out of the private room and noticed that Belli Tannu did not accompany him, he asked: “Did you find her?
“Bar?
Why was she at a bar?
Goden Bran paused, then replied, “Go and comfort Grandma first, then say I’ll be back late. Also, keep an eye on her at the bar.”
He grabbed his key and handed it to the assistant, who nodded and went
In a pub.
Ava Lins sat at the bar, unsure about the day.
“Don’t drink anymore,” the bartender cautioned her, seeing she still wanted more wine.
She chuckled, cocked her head to look at the bartender “Why aren’t you drinking, and do you know the date?
She grinned drunkenly and said, “Now… I am… Divorce..? ”
The bartender was confused.
Ava’s heart ached as she blinked and lifted her head to let the tears flow again, choking with sobs as she whispered, ” But he… No, he isn’t my hubby… He’s probably dancing with her right now. ”
Her voice was raspy, her eyes inflamed, yet she sipped the powerful whiskey, holding the cup in her hand.
The wine was intense, and the spice slipped down her throat, making her want to weep.
She was strong in front of him, but nobody knew how hard she was in her heart…
She didn’t want to bother him, but she also didn’t want to seem silly.
A person who doesn’t love you won’t comprehend your agony, even if you wish to die.
If so, why would she embarrass herself?
A mournful grin emerged on her lips when she realized he was weary of her dullness and had gone through thick and thin with other women…
Who said ladies couldn’t lie?
She was enraged, wondering whether there were any men out there who were interested in her
Ava glanced about, but none of them grabbed her attention.
Being a lover was nothing unusual.
A woman goes out for the night…
Sir, do you like me?
As if Ava needed further proof that there was still a guy interested in her body…
She approached a guy who resembled Goden Bran, but after just a few steps, she nearly fell down, but someone nearby reached out to help her “Are you okay?”
Jeorge Milton frowned, but she squinted and cocked her head, as if she didn’t recognize him.
Seeing her inebriated, he asked quietly, “What did you drink?”
“Mister, you…” Ava asked smiling, as if she hadn’t heard him.”
Her tone was kind yet provocative.
Jeorge Milton fixed his gaze on her, his heart rising in rage.
“What happened? It appeared like you were absent-minded,” Belli Tannu questioned him, puzzled.
“I”
He remembered the incident where Jeorge Milton danced with Ava that day,:

“Nothing big, the corporation has some issues,” Goden Bran smiled.
“If you need anything, hurry up. We’re already done, so waiting here would be a waste of time,”Belli Tannu’s mother grinned.
“That’s correct, if you have anything , go first,”Belli Tannu’s father agreed.
“I’ll simply hire someone to take care of it,” Goden Bran joked.
Afterwards, everyone got down and spoke about his and Belli Tannu’s marriage. “Uncle, I have affairs to attend to, therefore I’ll be taking my leave first,” he jumped up immediately.
He exited the restaurant with a big stride after respectfully leaving. Belli Tannu had pursued him, but she couldn’t catch him.
The road’s neon light sometimes illuminated his face. Goden Bran squinted and drove straight into the hotel…
