Getting to the small town, Royce drove through the rough road and after an hour, He stopped in front of a small shabby house.
It looked clean and well organized but old.
” Is this where she’s living? “I asked Royce and he nodded before turning off the ignition.
” Yes, She’s used to it already because she came from a poor background, Just that your sister isn’t used to it, But your younger brother is a little bit submissive “He said with a chuckle and I scoffed.
” I don’t have a brother, Just I and Ava”I said trying to assimilate his words.
” You have one, And he’s in elementary school already, Your mother took in before she left the house ”

Mateo was about to walk in when she stopped him.
” You’re here to cause more damages?, Much more than the one your sister caused? “She asked in a hard tone and I sighed.

After taking our seat, A young boy rushed into the room and ran up his mom, I stared at him keenly and he’s the exact replica of me.
He’s so cute and our hair are styled in the same manner.

” You guys should start leaving soon, I don’t want you to be exposed to danger because of me “She said standing up to Gabriel and the latter wriggled himself from her grip.
He rushed to me, I picked him up and kiss his hair.

” Mom, why should we leave?, I’m here to make things right and take you back to dad, Alvarez corporations could not have been successful without you ”

Getting to the office, I met some of the workers standing beside the receptionist table, And new faces were being led to the office, They look sad and angry.

” What happened?, Why are you guys like this? “I asked a guy and he grabbed my hand.
” Brea took over the office, And Zoe will be the new secretary as from now on, Brea changed all the workers as well ”
” Why’s she doing this?, Without Maynard consent? “I asked and he shrugged
“I don’t know, Our salaries will be cut down as well, Most of us couldn’t resign because of the contract we signed with Maynard so we have to work here in misery, But I hope you will be fine?, You’re Maynard woman”
” We never dated”I said sharply and he shrugged before walking out of my sight.

Shortly, She came back with Zoe and wiped the sweat on her face.
She look hot as usual and beside her, Looking ravishing as ever.
She glared at me and I took my eyes away.
” I’m sorry for the rush and not informing you guys for changing office with some of you, The secretary has been changed, She will be in charge of packing the files and cleaning the CEO office including the new Secretary office, Other jobs will be assigned to her soon “She announced staring at me directly, I smiled and the workers turned to me, Staring at me pitifully.
I expected this anyway, Just like what Fleur told me, Brea is a witch, She will change her attitudes towards me.
” Your salary will be reduced to $500 monthly as well, The secretary will be the one to assign the rest of the jobs for you, I’m sure the rest of you know your place of work already, you can leave “She said clapping her hands and I nodded before walking towards the stairs leaving everyone behind
I guessed she still have lots of things to talk to her.
I called Fleur immediately and she picked it up.
” What happened? ”
” Brea changed my office already ”
” What?!, Why will she do that? ”
” I won’t have access to the company files again, I won’t be able to do anything “I said in fear and she sighed.
” Let’s use the last minute in your office judiciously, I will text you what you will do now, You need to be fast about it ”
” Sure,. Please do that as fast as possible ”
