Billionaire Daredevil In Love

Chapter 51

Clayton:

I hated to have to do that, but I was left with almost no choice. Earlier that day, before Nadine arrived, I had sent the butler on a small errand. He was to follow Nadine around, and come back to me with information of her whereabouts. He came back about thirty minutes later, telling me that Nadine had gone to meet someone in the hotel. He also confirmed that this someone was my elder brother, Enzo.

“Shit,” I said on the phone to him. “Are you sure?”

“Yes, sir,” he replied confidently. “I saw him. Plus, I talked with a member of the staff here who just happens to be my friend, and he confirmed that they have been seeing each other consistently now, for a while.”

“What?!?!” I said, surprised. “Okay, okay. Thank you.”Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

I hung up and waited for her to come. While I did, an explicable feeling burned in me. I refused to identify it as jealousy but that was what it was. I didn’t know why I was jealous; perhaps, because I wanted Nadine all to myself, or perhaps, because I wondered what she saw in my elder brother. Sure he was handsome, but I was handsome. When she got back later that night and denied being out with anyone, I knew something was happening between the both of them. I decided to make things right. And what other to do that than forcing my way.

“Don’t do this, Clayton, please,” she said as I pulled down my trousers.

“I’ll do whatever the fuck I want, Nadine,” I said.

I raised her skirt and tore her panties. As I slid into her, she let out a scream, like a possessed beast and I had to cover her mouth with my palm. I pumped into her with a vengeance, because, really, I was trying to hurt her rather than derive pleasure. Her muffled screams as I did excited me.

“This is to set you right, bitch,” I said after I pulled out.

“Fuck you, Clayton,” she yelled as she scrambled to her feet. “You’re such a disgusting creature, you fucking bastard.”

Tears were running down her eyes and snot down her nose. Her face was crumpled up as she screamed and cussed at me. She looked hurt, in a way that made me almost pity her. She tried to straighten up as she hurled more insults at me; I just stood there watching.

“You can politely ask me for sex, or you can get it anywhere, from anyone you want,” she yelled. “But you choose to do this shit. I hate you, Clayton. I fucking hate you with everything that I love.”

With that, she grabbed her purse and walked out the door.

Nadine:

The skin between my thighs and around my pubis burned as I walked hurriedly out of the house, as if a small fire was burning there. I was filled with rage, and I was crying so much that I was blinded by my tears. When I stepped out of the house, I called on the driver and gave him clear instructions where to drive to. The hotel where Enzo was. I called him on the way there.

“Are you okay, Nadine?” He asked.

“No,” I said, bursting into fresh tears.

“Oh, my God, Nadine, you’re crying,” he said frantically. “Where are you? What happened?”

“Don’t worry, I’m coming back to the hotel,” I told him. “I’ll explain everything when I get there.”

In about an hour’s time, and well into the night, I arrived at the hotel. I instructed the driver to return to Clayton’s mansion. Enzo was waiting for me at the reception room, his face etched with a worried look. When I saw him, I realized how much he was destabilized when he heard me cry.

“Ohh, Nadine,” he said, hurrying towards me when he sighted me. “What happened?”

“It’s your bastard brother,” I said and began crying again.

“Come on, let’s go,” he said, wrapping his hand around my shoulders. “This is no place to shed tears. Let us go to my suite.”

He held my hand and led me to the elevator. When we got to his room, he tried to order a beverage, but I asked him to stop.

“I don’t need it, Enzo,” I said to him. “Thanks anyway.”

“Okay, if you say so,” he said with a shrug. “So, please, tell me what happened.”

“First of all, I think your brother suspects that I’ve been going out with you,” I said. “Or if he doesn’t, he suspects me, at least.”

“Wha-what makes you think so?” He said. “Did he mention anything? Did he directly accuse me?”

“No, he didn’t,” I said. “He didn’t even mention your name. But I have a strong feeling that he knows, that he has been watching me. Clayton is a sick man and would do anything to get what he wants. He made oblique remarks about me knowing my place as a married woman, and then he came to my room and…”

I trailed off.

“And what, Nadine?” He asked.

I burst into tears again. He pulled me into himself, cupped my face and thumbed my tears away. There was so much affection and sympathy in his face that I almost felt sorry for crying in front of him.

“I’m so sorry, Enzo,” I said. “I don’t mean to cry like this.”

“Nah, it’s fine,” I said. “Crying can be helpful sometimes, it helps to let out grief.”

“He raped me, Enzo,” I said. “He raped me.”

“Shit,” he said, it was the first time I would hear him cuss. “That idiot.”

He pulled me into himself again and rocked me gently, as if I was but a little baby. When our lips met this time, I didn’t feel a pinch of guilt. I let myself go. I held onto him as if my life depended on it. When he took my clothes off, I didn’t fight it either. And when he slid into me, it was a different feeling from what I had felt with Clayton.
