Alpha King’s pregnant Ex-Luna

Alpha Kilian’s voice growled low and dangerous in the dimly lit hospital room. He could feel the tension building between them, the air thick with suspicion. Nelly, lying on the bed, met his gaze with a cool, defiant stare.

“I have nothing to tell you, Alpha Kilian,” she replied, her voice carrying a hint of challenge. “Why don’t you mind your own business?”

Alpha Kilian’s nostrils flared as he fought to contain his anger. He had always known Nelly to be secretive, but now her selective revelations angered him further. She was manipulating the truth to create the image she desired, and he didn’t trust her one bit.

Just as his mind began to churn with thoughts of her deception, Alpha Wade emerged from the room with Donna and Ben. Alpha Kilian wasted no time in taking Fabian aside, his voice taking on an authoritative tone.

“Watch your words around Old Mr. Jackson,” he cautioned, his werewolf senses sharpening. “We cannot make him worry.”

“Understood,” Fabian replied, his voice barely above a whisper.

As Alpha Kilian observed Alpha Wade instructing the children to visit their injured mother, an idea sparked in his mind. He approached Alpha Wade with concern etched on his face, his words dripping with double meaning.

“You haven’t slept a wink all night,” he began, his voice filled with feigned worry. “I don’t think you’re in any condition to drive. Let Fabian accompany you and the children to school.”

Fabian put on a wide smile, addressing Alpha Wade respectfully. “Hello, Old Mr. Jackson.”

Alpha Wade, begrudgingly yielding to Alpha Kilian’s suggestion, agreed, his eyes flickering with suspicion. With that settled, Donna and Ben entered the ward, their faces filled with relief and excitement.

“Nelly!” Donna exclaimed, her voice betraying her eagerness.

Nelly motioned for her to hush, her eyes scanning the room for any unwanted listeners. “Lower your voice,” she whispered, her tone serious. “There are monsters lurking outside. We mustn’t attract their attention.”

Donna questioned her mother’s ruse, hurt flickering in her eyes. “You’ve been pretending to be unconscious?”

Nelly’s gaze softened, realizing the turmoil she had unknowingly caused. “I didn’t mean to deceive you,” she explained, her voice pleading for understanding.

Ben intervened, trying to calm the situation. “She had her reasons, Donna.”

Nelly’s attention shifted, her eyes narrowing with suspicion. “Where is Tony?” she asked, her voice tinged with concern.

Donna faltered, unsure of how to respond. Ben stepped in with a smile, attempting to alleviate the tension. “Tony had some things to take care of. He’ll visit you later.”

Nelly gave them a dubious look, unable to shake the feeling that something was amiss. But for now, there were more pressing matters at hand. She looked at her children fiercely, determined to protect them.

“I don’t know how you got involved with Alpha Kilian, but we’ll discuss it later,” she said, her voice firm. “But for now, be careful what you say and avoid unnecessary conversations with him. Understand?”

The children nodded, their eyes wide with the weight of their mother’s words. “Yes, Mom,” they whispered.

“Off to school with you now,” Nelly urged, and the children obediently left the room, Alpha Wade waiting for them outside.

Donna couldn’t resist stealing one last glance at Alpha Kilian, her heart yearning for comfort. But with Nelly’s warning ringing in her ears, she turned away, joining Alpha Wade with a heavy heart.

Alpha Kilian watched them depart, his heart aching with the desire to run after Donna. But he couldn’t ignore the secrets that lay within Nelly’s silence. He reentered the ward, finding Nelly still lying quietly on the bed.

Approaching her cautiously, he whispered, “Nelly, is Donna my daughter? I have so many questions for you. When will you wake up?”

Silence greeted his words, the only sound filling the room being Nelly’s steady breathing. Frustration bubbled within him, exacerbated by the ringing of his phone. Stepping outside to answer the call, he left Nelly alone.

As soon as she was certain he had left, Nelly breathed a sigh of relief and opened her eyes. She wasn’t afraid of facing him; rather, she needed time to gather her thoughts, to decide how to handle the questions she knew he would ask.Original from NôvelDrama.Org.

She knew their confrontation was inevitable, and she never expected she would resort to faking unconsciousness to avoid him. Nelly felt the urgency in her bladder and hesitated, worried that Alpha Kilian might return. But nature couldn’t wait forever.

She sat up, planning to go to the bathroom, when the door swung open, revealing Alpha Kilian standing in the entrance. His gaze pierced through her, his surprise evident in his voice.

“You’re awake,” he exclaimed, his tone filled with a mix of annoyance and intrigue.

Caught off-guard, Nelly searched for words to explain herself. But they evaded her, leaving her speechless in his presence.

Alpha Kilian approached her, his voice dripping with mockery. “I almost believed you never wanted to wake up.”

Shaking off her surprise, Nelly turned away from his piercing gaze, irritation lacing her words. “Wouldn’t that please you if I never woke up?”

Alpha Kilian, unable to resist her challenging tone, bent down to meet her eyes, his voice tinged with frustration. “Really? And what do you mean by pleasing me?”

Speechless, Nelly waved him off with annoyance. “Move aside. I need to go to the bathroom.”

As she struggled to get up, her brows knitting in pain, she stubbornly refused his help. But Alpha Kilian couldn’t bear to see her suffer, so he extended a helping hand.

Taking his offer, Nelly allowed herself to be supported, slowly inching towards the bed. Alpha Kilian couldn’t bear to see her struggle and scooped her up in his arms.

Surprised by his gesture, Nelly muttered softly, “Should have done that earlier.”

Alpha Kilian was momentarily speechless. He had expected gratitude, not such a dismissive response. Without a word, he carried her to the bathroom, gently placing her down before closing the door.

Nelly sensed his care, but she wasn’t easily swayed by small gestures. If anything, his actions only reinforced her belief that it was too late for him to make amends. She reasoned that his behavior was nothing more than a gentleman’s duty.

Minutes later, Nelly emerged from the bathroom, finding Alpha Kilian waiting for her. Without a word, he lifted her back into his arms, carrying her to the bed.

Accepting his help without protest, Nelly relished in the temporary respite. But as she lay there, her mind racing, she realized that accepting his care wouldn’t change the past. It wouldn’t erase the pain and betrayal she had endured.

Finally, she broke the silence. “Thank you. You can leave now. I’m tired and need to rest.”

Alpha Kilian, slightly annoyed, grumbled in response. “Do you think I’m your servant?”

Nelly couldn’t help but smile at his bitterness. “I never thought the great Alpha Morris could be reduced to a mere servant. I did thank you, didn’t I?”

Alpha Kilian saw through her diversion tactics, refusing to be swayed from his purpose. He moved closer, his eyes locked with hers, his voice filled with determination.

“Don’t you have something to tell me, Nelly?”
