Alpha King’s pregnant Ex-Luna

In the dimly lit room, Sharon and Nelly exchanged glances, both paralyzed by the shocking news. The atmosphere thickened as Alpha Kilian revealed his plans to establish an entertainment company. The words echoed in Sharon’s ears, leaving her speechless.

“A capitalist… I am nothing in the face of a capitalist,” Sharon thought to herself, her voice trailing off into the darkness.

Nelly, ever cautious and perceptive, turned to Alpha Kilian and voiced her doubts, “Donna’s interest in this venture may be temporary, a mere whim.”

But Alpha Kilian remained unfazed, a defiant expression etched on his face. The loss of a few hundred million was nothing compared to his daughter’s happiness.

He fibbed, trying to quell Sharon’s suspicions, “This is not solely because of Donna. The entertainment industry is thriving, and Morris Corporation has been planning its expansion. It’s merely a coincidence.”

Sharon found herself at a loss for words once again, a nagging feeling lingering deep within her. “I don’t believe him,” she thought, her eyes fixed on Alpha Kilian.

Nelly, her unwavering gaze fixed on him, spoke her mind, “I hope Donna can have the freedom to pursue her own career.”

Assurances came pouring out of Alpha Kilian’s mouth, his words calculated and strategic, “Do not worry. I will personally fund this endeavor. Although it will have the backing of Morris Corporation, it will not be controlled by it. Her identity will be well-protected, and no one will know who she truly is. Furthermore, as her career progresses, there will be matters that need to be handled. It’s better to have our trusted people taking care of her contracts instead of outsiders. This won’t hinder her freedom, right?”

Sharon pondered his words, recognizing the validity in his argument. “Perhaps we can’t provide the support she needs in this aspect,” she thought.

Nelly maintained her intense gaze on Alpha Kilian, seeking assurance. “Are you certain?” she asked.

Alpha Kilian nodded, a hint of conflicted emotions flickering in his eyes.

In that moment, Nelly declared, her tone resolute, “Okay! I want to invest in the company too!”

Sharon was left dumbfounded. She turned to Nelly, barely able to comprehend the situation. “Could it be that she is also a powerful figure hiding in the shadows?”

Alpha Kilian’s eyes narrowed as a smirk formed on his lips. “You want to fund it? How much are you willing to invest?” he asked, intrigued by Nelly’s determination.

Nelly answered without hesitation, her voice filled with conviction, “I will invest however much it takes, as long as it surpasses your investment.”

Sharon couldn’t help but admire Nelly’s audacity. “She truly is a big shot!” she thought.

Alpha Kilian continued to fix his gaze upon Nelly. “So, you wish to hold shares without actively participating in the management?”

Nelly nodded calmly. “That’s correct. I am concerned that you might take our daughter away from me.”

Alpha Kilian regarded her with a smile, a mix of conflicting emotions on his face.

Sharon, overwhelmed by the display of affection and power, couldn’t comprehend the true nature of their intentions. “We were just here to discuss a contract. How did things escalate to this extent?” she wondered, bewildered by their dazzling display.

After a long moment, Alpha Kilian nodded. “Very well, no problem,” he conceded, knowing all too well that Nelly was not one to change her mind easily. It was better to have her on their side than against them. Besides, he was genuinely curious about the mystery surrounding her.

Nelly sipped her wine, maintaining a composed and unruffled demeanor.

Alpha Kilian turned his attention back to Sharon. “Once everything is in place, someone will contact you,” he stated, his tone leaving no room for discussion.

Sharon nodded fervently. “Of course! There’s no rush since we still have plenty of time,” she replied, trying to match his confidence.

Alpha Kilian acknowledged her agreement with a nod.

As the server brought their food, Sharon excused herself, feigning a sudden need to use the restroom. Donna, eager for an adventure, followed suit.

While they were away, Nelly and Alpha Kilian shared a silent understanding, savoring their food.

Nelly, relieved to see Sharon and Donna getting along, couldn’t help but reflect on the complexities of their situation.

Inside the restroom, Sharon looked at Donna, a tinge of envy in her eyes. “She is so pampered, like a princess. How different our destinies are,” she thought, the bitterness seeping into her smile.

Donna noticed her preoccupied expression and asked with concern, “Is something bothering you, Ms. Sharon? Are you not happy?”Belongs to © n0velDrama.Org.

Sharon snapped out of her reverie, offering a reassuring smile. “I’m fine. I just couldn’t help but notice how much your parents love you.”

Donna beamed and nodded, her eyes sparkling with joy. “Yes, they do! I have two brothers and two grandfathers who love me with all their hearts!”

Sharon couldn’t help but feel a pang of jealousy. “She has everything I’ve ever dreamed of,” she thought, admiring Donna.

Sharon finally gathered the courage to ask, “Why do you address your father as Mr. Handsome?”

Donna giggled, breaking the tension. “Well, I’ve grown used to it over the years. Besides, Daddy had us perform with him to fake a divorce from Nelly. Since she was pregnant at the time, she agreed to the divorce and left the country devastated. Now that they are back together, I can’t simply call him ‘Daddy’ immediately, can I?”

Awkwardly, Sharon chuckled, trying to clear the air. “It was all just a show. There was never anything between us,” she assured.

Donna sighed, placing the blame on her father. “It wasn’t your fault. Daddy is the one to blame,” she lamented.

Sharon expressed her gratitude for Donna’s understanding, relieved that she bore no ill will. Curiosity then got the better of her, and she inquired, “What about your mother? You don’t address her as ‘Mommy’ either.”

Donna burst into laughter, finding amusement in the past. “When we were abroad, she was considered too young. Whenever I called her ‘Mommy,’ people assumed she was underage. It became quite a hassle. So, I just started calling her ‘Nelly.’ Eventually, it stuck.”

Sharon nodded, understanding the reasoning behind the nickname. But another question lingered in her mind.

“What does your mother do for a living? She seems incredibly capable,” Sharon asked, genuinely curious.

Donna shrugged nonchalantly. “She’s a programmer,” she answered casually.

Sharon furrowed her brows in confusion. “Programmers can afford to invest in an entertainment company?” she mused. The thought of the substantial funds required for such a venture troubled her.

Donna paused for a moment, then responded with confidence, “She also takes on projects for others. I don’t know all the details, but money is not an issue for her.”

Sharon couldn’t shake off the feeling of overwhelming hubris radiating from the entire family. They seemed extraordinary in every aspect.
