Alpha Kilian, Nelly, and Donna ventured into the darkness after their dinner. The moon shone brightly, casting an eerie glow on the landscape. Donna coyly suggested, “Alpha Kilian, won’t you join us upstairs for a while before you go?” Alpha Kilian looked at Nelly, his pitiful tone betraying his desires. “I wish I could, but I fear someone wouldn’t approve.” His reference was glaringly obvious.
Donna turned her attention to Nelly, her voice dripping with seduction. “Nelly…” She knew this tactic always caused Nelly to waver. Nelly rolled her eyes, unimpressed by the attempt. “You speak as if you would actually obey if I refused.” Without waiting for a response, Nelly opened the door and stepped out of the car.
Alpha Kilian smiled to himself, his eyes gleaming with triumph. He exchanged a triumphant glance with Donna before they both exited the vehicle. But just as they were about to proceed, Alpha Kilian’s phone unexpectedly rang. It was Alpha King Larry on the other end. “Hello, Grandpa.”
After listening to Alpha King Larry’s words, Alpha Kilian furrowed his brow. “Alright. I understand. I’ll head back immediately.” Donna turned to him, a hint of disappointment in her voice. “Mr. Handsome, are you not coming up anymore?” Alpha Kilian tousled her hair. “Mmm-hmm, not today. But don’t forget to invite me next time. Otherwise, I worry that someone won’t be so welcoming.” Donna reluctantly agreed. She knew that Alpha Kilian must have something important to attend to.
Nelly also turned her attention to Alpha Kilian. “What happened to Alpha Morris?” With a shift in focus from Donna to Nelly, Alpha Kilian replied, “It’s just a minor hiccup, nothing major.”
“Do you want me to go with you?” Nelly offered. Alpha Kilian raised an eyebrow in surprise, considering her question. “You’re asking to go home with me?” Nelly was dumbfounded, but her seriousness was met with a mischievous glint in Alpha Kilian’s eyes. “Forget it. Pretend I didn’t say anything,” Nelly responded with annoyance. Alpha Kilian smiled affectionately at her. “If you intend to come home with me, I’ll have to arrange it with Grandpa ahead of time.” Nelly understood that he was teasing her but also sensed the underlying purpose.
Rolling her eyes, Nelly turned away. “Donna, let’s go home now.” “Okay,” Donna grunted, throwing a last glance at Alpha Kilian. “Bye, Mr. Handsome.” “Buh-bye,” he replied, his smile deepening as they left. Once they entered the elevator, Alpha Kilian’s smile faded, and he left in his car. Inside the elevator, Donna asked, “Nelly, do you think Mr. Handsome went home because of something important?”
“I suppose so,” Nelly reassured her. Donna looked worried, and Nelly tried to calm her fears. “He will resolve whatever it is, so there’s no need to worry.” Donna nodded grimly. Nelly grew curious and inquired, “Even though you know he’s your Daddy, why haven’t you changed the way you address him?”
“Well… Tony says we should only change it when we see Daddy’s sincerity towards you. We don’t want to upset you by doing it too early,” Donna explained honestly. Nelly smiled, knowing it was Tony’s doing. Otherwise, Donna would have changed it long ago based on her character. “It doesn’t bother me,” Nelly replied. “You can address him however you want.” Donna pouted playfully. “Even though it feels warm and fuzzy to call him Daddy, I’ve realized that no matter how I address him, he’s always good to me. So, it doesn’t make a difference whether I change it or not.”
Nelly looked at her daughter, her smile full of pride. Alpha Kilian truly was an exceptional father. Donna tilted her head and suddenly asked, “Nelly, Daddy seems really devoted to you lately. Aren’t you even a little bit moved?” Nelly met her gaze with a stoic expression. “Not even a little bit?” Donna persisted, hoping for a glimmer of hope. Nelly raised her eyebrows. “Do you really want to know?” Donna nodded adamantly. “Well then, I won’t tell you,” Nelly teased. The elevator doors opened, and she stepped out, leaving Donna frustrated. “Nelly!”
When Alpha Kilian arrived home, he was met with a heated argument between Desmond and Dan. “Mr. Lucas, please go home. Alpha Morris isn’t feeling well and needs rest,” Dan insisted. Desmond, however, ignored him and continued to shout passionately. “Mr. Lucas, please, give the Lucas Corporation another chance…!”
“Mr. Lucas, mind your manners!” Dan warned. “We acknowledge our fault. All we ask is for the Morris family to give us a chance.” But Desmond paid no heed to Dan’s words. Just as he was about to say something, he noticed Alpha Kilian approaching. Desmond froze for a moment before turning around. He hastily approached Alpha Kilian, dropping to his knees. “Mr. Morris, I am deeply sorry for everything we’ve done. Please forgive us.” Alpha Kilian scrutinized him with a cold gaze. “To appease you, I’ve already sent Erin away. However, she met with an accident during the journey and is now in a vegetative state. Mr. Morris, isn’t that enough for you? All I ask is for one chance,” Desmond pleaded.
Alpha Kilian narrowed his eyes. “Are you implying that the accident is my fault?” Desmond quickly backtracked, fear evident in his voice. “No, no, no, Mr. Morris, that’s not what I meant at all.”
“In that case, what do you mean? Are you trying to emotionally blackmail me with this accident? What does it have to do with me?” Alpha Kilian demanded. Desmond looked up at him, his tone fearful. “Mr. Morris, I’m not insinuating anything. I’m simply asking you to show mercy to the Lucas Corporation. Just say the word-” A smirk crept onto Alpha Kilian’s face.
“Mr. Lucas, are you accusing me of something I didn’t do? Since when have I caused trouble for the Lucas Corporation?” “Now that everyone knows I’ve offended you, no one wants to work with Lucas Corporation anymore unless you intervene. If this continues, Lucas Corporation will be ruined!” Desmond resigned himself to his plea.Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.
“Are you suggesting that I go around explaining things on your behalf?” Alpha Kilian retorted. “Mr. Morris, you can do it with just a snap of your fingers.” Alpha Kilian sneered, “Why should I defend you when you’re the one who has irritated me? Where’s the logic in that?” “So, you won’t spare Lucas Corporation?” Desmond asked with despair.
“Mr. Lucas, instead of wasting your time begging here, figure out how to salvage your company. As for me, there’s nothing more I can do.” With that, Alpha Kilian headed into the house. Desmond’s expression changed drastically as he watched Alpha Kilian’s departure. “Alpha Kilian, if you won’t spare Lucas Corporation, don’t blame me for what I’ll do. You brought this upon yourself!”
Before anyone could react, Desmond charged towards Alpha Kilian. Dan instinctively threw himself in front of Alpha Kilian, shielding him. “Mr. Alpha Kilian, watch out!” But Desmond, relentless, charged straight at the main door. The impact splattered blood everywhere. To everyone’s surprise, a swarm of reporters appeared, capturing the scene with their cameras.
