Agreement Behind Her Marriage

B*tch Friend

‘It means both of them have a secret,’ Drew thought.

A fucker who molested Lily, his wife, and a lady who had previously sold her body to him. The only distinction between them was that Lily was helpless, while Jericho’s wife was deliriously pleased with him. His chest tightened each time he had the thoughts.Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

“Our investigation shows they have been married for five years but have no children. Jericho is worried about it because he wants to safeguard his marriage to Jenny,” Sarah explained, naming the woman.

‘Ah, yeah. She’s Jenny…’

“Either Jenny does not want to become pregnant, or Jericho Cordova has a hormonal issue. We are aware that Jenny was raised in a typical family, which encouraged her to become a prostitute despite being a model. She likes beautiful things, but Jericho can’t give every expensive thing because he only depends on his earnings from the family business. Jericho’s family owns a company, but they still follow Jericho’s family’s instructions.”

“Hmm…” Lily recalls the day they first met at the hotel four years ago was a stag party. It was probably Jericho’s when he first met Lily. He gets angry every time he thinks back to that day. They ruined Lily.

“How about Vivian?” he asked.

“She keeps asking me to give her a time slot for your visit to her bar.”

“Tell her I’m going to the bar today.” After that, he stood up from his seat. He wanted to go home because it was already six in the evening. He had to assess her business’ status to end Vivian’s nagging. In the elevator, he contemplated ways to impart a lesson to Jericho.

While in the elevator, he pondered ways to teach Jericho a lesson.

“Boss,” greeted his driver, Mark. He opened the door for him before getting into the driver’s seat. “Where do we go next?”

The driver knew Drew came from abroad and typically opted to rest in his home whenever this situation arose, but not on that night.

“Take me to Bar Vivi.”

Drew’s driver gave him a questioning look, but he refrained from commenting. Perhaps Mark already knew how accustomed Drew was to Lily. Regardless, Mark fulfilled his request.

The manager at Vivian’s pub welcomed Drew immediately and tried to lead him to a private room, but Drew resisted. Given that Lily was his wife, he mainly wanted to put a barrier between himself and Vivian.

Refusing, he said, “I’ll stay in the common area.”

It’s not crowded because it’s still early. As a result, the music playing in the bar wasn’t as loud.

A short while later, he noticed Vivian’s body approaching in his direction. Her skin is smooth, and her figure is curvy. If there wasn’t music, he could hear her heels as her hips swayed to her left and right. She was clearly the woman he had previously enjoyed in his bed. But right now, she’s tasteless in his eyes.

“Drew! Why are you here in a common area?” The woman smiled and immediately sat beside him. She even managed to kiss his cheek, making his face turn sour.

“I’ve been waiting a long time for you to come here. Do you like the place?” continued the woman.

It signaled him to look around. His business with Vivian went smoothly. The venue was classy and would appeal to partygoers who enjoy loud music, dim rooms, and attractive staff. However, whether or not he likes it is unimportant to him. All he cares about is that he is making money at this establishment.

“It’s fine,” he simply replied.

He felt her hand brush over his leg. Vivian was always like this. He is also not stupid for not understanding what the woman wants to convey. She tried to seduce him, but Drew promptly removed her hand.

“Let’s proceed to my office; it’s more pleasant and private,” she said, flicking her eyelashes, anticipating his agreement, which only intensified his repulsion.

Without hesitation, Drew listed one of his objectives. “Vivian, why did you visit my home yesterday?”

A chilly wind seemed to creep on Vivian’s back at Drew’s question. None of his ex-women would ever intrude into his personal space. Perhaps being business partners gave her the courage, knowing she was holding onto something for him. They collaborate on business, but with or without their partnership, it was nothing on his part. He cooperated with her because he believed the woman harbored at least some personal aspirations. Still, in reality, he had nothing to lose.

Vivian backed up a bit from Drew. “I want to see you. It’s been a long time since we’ve been together, and I miss you…”

He replied with a hint of disdain in his voice, “So you went to my place on purpose, knowing I wasn’t there, but my wife was?”

“I-I was just curious,” she said, avoiding his gaze. She wanted to appear pitiful, as it usually appealed to men, but Drew found it even more annoying.

“About what?”

“About your wife…”

He sneered. “And why are you interested in my wife? Are we lovers? Are you my girlfriend? My mistress? Or perhaps my cunt stalker?”

Vivian swallowed. “Please… Don’t be angry. I know I made a mistake. I didn’t know what I was thinking yesterday. I-I’m sorry…”

Drew did not attempt to press the matter of her visiting his house. Vivian’s admission of her actions made him wary of appearing to exaggerate things. However, he still issued a warning to the woman.

“This is my last warning, Vivian. You have no right to interfere with my private life.” He didn’t even consider the woman a friend, but he kept that to himself.

She clenched her fist beneath the table and dug her fingernail into her own palm. They attracted the attention of some customers and staff members because they were in the bar’s ordinary area and their surroundings weren’t particularly noisy.

Vivian had a nasty attitude. She had recently seen Drew’s wife and assumed she differed from his usual women. Having known Drew for years, she learned about his desire for a sexy and slim partner, someone he could bring along without drawing attention. Why did he decide to marry someone like that?

She served him for several years and made Drew happy. She had hoped and fantasized that she might catch his eye one day. Who doesn’t want to be Mrs. Drew Walton?

What she saw yesterday was a haggard wife. And somehow, that gave her confidence that Drew didn’t like his wife. So, what made him so upset with her now?

She reasoned out it was possible that Drew still didn’t like his wife and was merely enraged by her for trying to snoop into his personal life.

Vivian wasn’t aware they attracted much notice. In an effort to soothe him and lessen his rage, she tried to move closer and caress his arm. It worked every time. But Jenny, one of her friends and a former rival in capturing Drew Walton’s interest, approached them before she could get close.

“Boss Drew?” she said with a surprised look.

They turned to the woman at the same time. The lovely smile of her friend appeared.

“Wow! What a surprise! I came here to see how Vivian was doing. I never thought about seeing you here. Are you two-”

“We’re not,” Drew immediately refused and then smiled at Jenny, “Like you, I came here with the same intention, to see the place as Vivian’s business partner.”

“I see. Mind if I join you?”

‘I mind, b*tch!’

“Sure!” Drew pointed the extra chair to her opposite side but near him.

It annoyed Vivian. How long had she been waiting for Drew, and then, after finally getting his time, she had to share his attention with Jenny? She grasped the wineglass before her to avoid digging her fingernail into her palm.

“Isn’t your husband looking for you?” Vivian inquired to let Drew know that Jenny was a married woman.

In her amusement, the woman frowned. “I came here to have fun.”

“So, is that the reason why you haven’t been at the club for a couple of years? Are you married now?” Drew asked.

Drew is talking about the club where she and Jenny used to be on-call talent-an escort. The way the conversation progressed and the fact that Drew seemed to be more interested in Jenny irritated Vivian.

“She’s having a nice married life now,” Vivian smirked.

Acting pitifully, Jenny said, “Come on, Vivian. You know what I’m going through right now.”

Drew enquired, “What are you dealing with? Maybe I can help.”

“It’s boring. My in-laws are oppressive and very strict. I would choose the times I had with you if I could go back in time…” Jenny continued while beaming. “It’s good that I found you here.”

The woman flashed her eyelashes at Drew, which infuriated Vivian. She felt like yelling at her or shoving her out of her bar.

“Boss Drew is also married,” she commented.

It shocked Jenny. “Really? Then you understand the sense that the marriage is lacking something.”

“What do you think is missing? Maybe I could give…”

“Perhaps you are the missing piece, Boss Drew. If I could go back in time, I would prefer the times when we used to play. Why don’t we carry on with what we had?”

Vivian was furious. Drew’s apparent interest in Jenny’s seduction alarms her. On the contrary, that gave her the answer that Drew didn’t like his plain wife.

Drew stood up and declared, “Well, I’m going.”

“Can I come along? I just took a taxi to get here,” Jenny humbly asked.

“Oh? Then take a taxi back home.” Drew took out a bill and handed it to Jenny. “I’m willing to cover the cost of your cab ride. See you again. Bye!”

Jenny almost fell from her seat because she was expecting Drew to accompany her after all the teasing and her trying to seduce him.

‘Hmp! Good for you!’
