Chapter 46
Chapter 46 The Missing Speech
In the backstage lounge.
Leah lazily leaned on the sofa, casually flipping through the script, jotting down the essential points.
"Miss Wilson, there you are. Our chairman would like to verify some details of your speech. Could you please come with me for a moment?" "Okay."
Leah got up from the sofa and handed the script to Layla. "Keep an eye on the script. Don't lose it."
Layla took the script and held it tightly.
"Understood, Miss Wilson."
Shortly after Leah left, Anna entered the lounge.
"Where's Miss Wilson?"
Layla responded, "Miss Wilson went to verify the details of her speech. Do you need something?"
"It's not a big deal. They want to move some things out of the warehouse and need an extra hand. They sent me to call someone to help. Since you're here, you can come with me," Anna said. Helping Anna wasn't a big deal. But Layla hesitated for a moment, thinking about Leah's instructions before leaving.
"But... Miss Wilson asked me to watch over her script here."
"What's the point? Are you afraid that someone might steal it?" Anna replied impatiently, tugging Layla along. "They're waiting for our help. Hurry up! Don't make a fuss about it."
"Alright then." Layla left the speech on the table and followed Anna to help.
Soon, Anna watched Layla enter the warehouse with a smug smile on her face.
Then, she turned around and left the warehouse. When she came back again, she ran into Sam in the corridor. This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.
Sam looked around and saw nobody, so he immediately dragged Anna into the cubicle.
"Is everything done?"
Anna proudly raised her chin. "Of course, I personally took care of it. What could go wrong?"
Sam's plump lips landed on Anna's face. "Baby, you're incredible."
Anna put her hand on Sam's chest but didn't actually try to push him away. She appeared to be welcoming his advances. "Sam, someone might bump into us at any minute. Don't do this."
Sam showed a greasy smile and said, "That's why it will be an exciting experience."
Anna's legs gradually wrapped around Sam's waist, and she looked at him charmingly.
"Sam..."
Desire emerged in Sam's eyes as his overweight body pressed against hers. "You're such a seductive little minx."
Soon, the cubicle was filled with passionate moans.

As Layla approached the door to the lounge, she noticed Leah walking toward her from the opposite end of the corridor. She immediately called out, "Miss Wilson."
Leah nodded and reached out toward Layla.
"My speech is about to start. Go get the script."
"Okay." Layla went into the lounge to get Leah's speech.
However, the speech she had placed on the table was now missing.
Layla's face instantly turned pale. She searched frantically around the table but still couldn't find anything.
Seeing that Layla still hadn't come out, Leah followed her into the lounge.
Then, Leah couldn't help but frown when she saw Layla scurrying around the lounge.
"What's going on? Where is my speech?"
