A Trust-fund Baby

Chapter 13 Rich Judson

Chapter 13 Rich Judson

“Well, our lawyers said we won’t send you into the prison, as long as you pay the price. Just transfer

thirty thousand dollars to this account. Let me know if you finish the transfer so that I can inform our

lawyers,” The shop assistant said after hanging up.

But Sally winced again. “Well…well, sweetie, I don’t have enough money. Could you please wait for me

to get enough money? I…I promise to pay…Really, trust me, I’ll pay for it.”

The shop assistant sneered, “Madam, are you kidding? The police will be here in half an hour, and it’s

not too late for you to choose to stay in the prison.”

Sally hastily took a bank card out of her pocket and said, “Sweetie, please, please, please don’t. I’ve

got thirteen thousand dollars in this card. I’ll get someone to give you the rest money at once…Trust

me. I’ll pay for it…”

Sally hastily called her friends to borrow money, but no one was willing to lend her money…

Sally was disappointed to find her girls are fake friends who were unreliable…

After hesitation, she had no choice but to call Diana, “Sweetheart, this is mommy speaking. I’m trapped

in some trouble. Can…can you come to Wanda Plaza now…Hurry up. Be safe.”

Sally dared not to tell Diana the truth as she was afraid that Diana would be irritated, so she quickly

ended the call before telling Diana too much. Although Diana was ill, she hastily changed her clothes

and rushed to Wanda Plaza…she went there alone by taxi as she didn’t want Lucrezia and Rosy to

come along with her.

Diana trembled with anger after hearing the shop assistant’s explanation, her tears trickling down, her

hand covering her mouth.

Suddenly, Diana slapped her face for three times…even her hair came loose, which shocked the shop

assistant and the crowd.

“Mom, what the heck are you doing? Do you think my money all fell from the heaven? Why would you

want to ruin our life?” Diana said in tears.

Sally didn’t dare to look at Diana’s eyes as she lowered her head to show her guilt. She knew Diana’s

heart was broken though Diana didn’t beat her.

Diana inhaled deeply and walked up to the assistant. She bowed to her and said remorsefully, “I’m so

sorry. Please give me an account so that I can transfer the money…”

But the shop assistant shook her head with a smile, and she said politely, “You can only transfer forty

thousand dollars as what you did just saved dignity for Dior. Plus, the management called me that your

husband is our VIP customer, and we don’t have to resort to law. A simple payment is enough.”

“Thanks. Thank you…” Diana hastily thanked the assistant.

Next second, she thought of something and asked, “Are you saying Judson?”

The shop assistant nodded with a smile. “Yes, Mr. Judson.”

Diana’s heart stuttered…it hit her that the day before yesterday Judson gave Sally thirty thousand

dollars…

Diana suddenly believed that Judson really wanted to take care of her as he loved her for her…

In the afternoon, on the meeting of Diana’s company, Lucrezia and Rosy sat there in a trance, staring

at the files in their hands.

Lucrezia sighed deeply and said, “Last year Diana’s father was diagnosed with cancer, and he came to

Judson before death, hoping he’d become Diana’s husband by their family name.

Rosy nodded and said, “There’s a video going viral online about a man taking all the Dior shoes home

as his girlfriend has decidophobia. That man is Judson. It turns out he’s so rich that he doesn’t need to

work. Since last year Diana’s father just passed away, maybe Judson took care of her as he didn’t want

her to lost herself to the sorrow. Such a kind man, such a perfect husband…should have been kicked

out by Sally. Is she insane? What a stupid mother! Pathetic Diana.” Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.

After Rosy’s reprimand, Lucrezia’s heart stuttered as she used to insult Judson, but at that time,

Judson just smiled as he didn’t mind what she said. It seemed like Judson had been mistaken all this

time…

“Rosy, are you sure it was Judson who helped us out?” Lucrezia asked attentively.

“Yes, I’m sure. I’ve worked in the business world for many years, and my experience told me it was

weird that once Judson got the divorce with Diana, our company was jeopardized…It was too

coincidental. Plus, since Judson is filthy rich, his friend, at least, is a high-rank director in Ray Group.

Maybe Judson’s friend is Bruce. After all, Bruce is also very young…” Rosy’s eyes glittered with

admiration.
