Chapter 3954
Her heart was pounding as she clutched the key in her hand.
She took out her mobile phone and immediately called her secretary.
“Check if Dylan has a property in…”
The secretary immediately checked and got back to her in less than five minutes.
“Yes, he does.
He bought the villa many years ago.Content rights belong to NôvelDrama.Org.
He was still an agent for your sister-in-law at that time.
”
Olivia hung up.
She held the key tightly, a lump forming in her throat.
Laura must have sent the key to her.
Not wanting to risk an argument with Edwin, Laura secretly sent it.
Olivia drove straight to the location.
Half an hour later, her car rolled to a stop in front of the villa.
The wooden door was half closed.
Olivia pushed the door open and walked through a small lawn that led to the door of a delicate house.
A dog ran out of the house, wagging its tail affectionately before letting out a friendly bark.
Then, a man’s voice came from inside.
“Gina, is someone there?” the voice asked.
There was no way Olivia could ever mistake that voice.
A few moments later, Dylan came out of the door.
He was immediately stunned.
Tears fell freely from Olivia’s eyes, but she didn’t make a sound.
Instead, she squeezed out a smile and said in a trembling voice, “If I didn’t know Gina was a dog, I would have assumed you didn’t come home for those two years because you’ve met someone else.
”
She didn’t take her gaze away from him for a second, even if tears kept running down her face.
Dylan caught his breath before he spoke.
“Olivia!”
He stepped forward with open arms as if to embrace her, but Olivia took a step back.
Her lips trembled.
“Didn’t you miss me? Don’t you want to see Leyla?”
He grabbed her wrist and pulled her into his arms, as if to refute the question.
The moment she was in his arms, Olivia broke down.
“You scared me to death! It’s been so long.
Why didn’t you come back home? Leyla can speak now, but I haven’t taught her the word ‘dad’ yet, because I wanted you to be the one to teach her.
You bastard! How could you do this to us? You’re so cruel!”
In her anguish, Olivia bit him on the chest.
The body that had once possessed strong muscles now appeared emaciated.
Dylan let out a low groan of pain as her teeth sunk into his skin.
The sound was low, but Olivia caught it.
She lifted up his black shirt.
There were scars all over his chest.
Scars that were left behind by some surgery.
